If you're even slightly considering hiring Danielle for any type of photography...DO IT. Hiring Danielle to take my engagement and wedding photos was the single best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From our introductory phone call to our last set of emails about fixing a (beautiful absolutely perfectly shot) wedding photo (that was ruined by a wedding crasher), Danielle was nothing but friendly, warm, professional, knowledgeable, and all-around delight. A huge amount of our guests commented how kind and unobtrusive Danielle was and how they wished their wedding photographer had been more like her. And I haven't even gotten to her talent yet. Danielle is just a really damn good photographer. My husband and I both don't particularly love having our photo taken and, if I'm being honest, we haven't worn more than sweats in the last 2+ years since we both work from home. Every photo Danielle has taken of us is absolutely stunning and we both felt so comfortable with her during the process. I seriously cannot recommend her enough.

We giggled and laughed and giggled some more, but all of that made for some genuine and beautiful photos. When we received our previews, we were amazed by how great they all turned out. It made it really difficult for us to select a finite amount of photos, but we persevered! However, my mindset was otherwise pre-occupied and I wanted a re-do. The opportunity for the "steal her session" came about and I decided to give this liberating experience another go. The boudoir comes with make-up pampering, wardrobe changes with some assistance in figuring out what outfits to use for the shoot. You are then brought into a room, given the space to change and when the photog re-enters the whole world changes. They ease you into it by showing you poses, and walking you through the entire process piece by peace and each corner of the room sets the scene for fabulous classy photos. The reveal is scheduled for your leisure, it is then that you decide on which package to purchase- payment plans are available upon request. I chose to go with a 40 photo package and the narrowing down from 138 to 40 was very very difficult.

She said they were doing a raffle for a free shoot so I signed up. I realized that they would probably reach out... but not the 8 times in one day that I got. In one of the texts I received, it said I was a "finalist" for winning the free shoot and to reach out to them to set up a time to discuss (i saw the text but didn't have time). When I got ANOTHER call this morning, I spoke to the woman on the phone and she was extremely pushy about setting up a photo shoot time without even discussing pricing, etc. I explained to her that I signed up for the raffle and asked if I had won since I have received so many calls in one day. The line got silent for a while and then she said that there was a misunderstanding and she would add me to the no contact list. She then promptly hung up. I don't know who they are using for their sales... but whoever it is has left a bad impression of your company. Too bad because you were wonderful before.

We met Nate and Jessi at a Wedding Expo (that we weren't even going to attend, might I add) and from the moment we saw their work we knew they would be one of our top choices. They did a giveaway at the event that we won and we just knew it was meant to be. Immediately, we scheduled a coffee meeting, and as soon as we walked out of the coffee shop, we knew that Nate & Jessi just HAD to be there to capture our wedding. Planning a wedding can be stressful - trying to coordinate vendors, create timelines and be communicative with all who are involved just to name a few. Nate and Jessi truly set themselves apart from other photographers by being involved and willing to share their knowledge with us. From offering sample timelines based on the information I was giving them, reaching out to schedule phone calls/when to check in with them, and even just offering tips & tricks to make planning a little smoother, they made it so easy to work with them. That's when we decided to throw a curve ball at them, we had to cancel the big wedding and decided to elope! A year early, complete change of course and about a month to plan and they made it happen. They went the extra mile for us, they showed up early and scouted out a beach spot and some picture locations. We didn't get the chance to do an engagement shoot and they still made us feel so comfortable taking our pre-ceremony photos. They shot our small ceremony, with about 20 friends and family in attendance and even made it to dinner with us for some more casual shots afterwards. We got married on 8/24/18, a Friday evening, and by Monday morning I had an email with what to look forward to. We were guaranteed a certain timeline and amount of pictures to expect, and I think from that point forward, I checked my email about once an hour every day waiting for a sneak peak of pictures to come. We only had to wait a couple weeks(WOW!!) and for ALL of our photos to arrive. Seriously, we knew they were amazing but they truly blew us away. Our photos were more than we ever could have expected. Our sunset, Lake Tahoe elopement was captured so beautifully behind their lenses. Now, our only problem is that there are TOO MANY good photos to choose from. Nate and Jessi truly met and exceeded all of our expectations, they weren't just our photographers but new friends.

Nate & Jess were extremely easy to work with and made us feel comfortable during the photo shoots, especially on our wedding day. They were extremely punctual, always responding to emails, phone calls or texts in a timely manner. One of the things we appreciate the most is their willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it was meeting us in person to give us our album and portrait or attending the church rehearsal on a Friday night, they took time out of their busy schedules to accommodate us. Mind you, we booked/had a meeting in AUGUST of 2023. And yes, a replacement photographer was offered AFTER the wedding had started and our venue was in Benicia. It would've taken them some time to get to our venue with their business being in SACRAMENTO and even IF they would have been able to arrive within 15-30 minutes, they would've missed the getting ready pictures for our bridal party and ceremony. I can't believe this business is trying to pull this stunt about 2 years after the fact to try and save face? This is absolutely disgusting behavior. Again, I would not recommend this business.
