David was easy to work with from start to finish. He came out the same day to examine the scope of work and provided a written quote on the spot. I changed the scope of work many times and he did not mind at all. He is responsive, arrived early to finish the job, and asked me specifics to meet my expectations. He is reasonable with pricing and was available to do the work the next day. He is licensed, bonded, and insured, which is important to me. Some claim they are licensed, but cannot be found on the state's public license search. Be careful! I had him remove two trees (large and small sizes) with stump removal (grinding method) and prune multiple trees (crown reduction and thinning). The work was professional and allowed the space to open up and look more spacious. He brought all needed tools and machines equipped to do the job. I reached out to a number of people on Yelp 02/04/22. David was 3/8 companies that responded back promptly. He was the first one to come out to see the trees and give me a quote. We realized that I had used his company a few times pre-pandemic to trim our 3 redwoods and 1 cedar tree. Initial quote was originally higher than I was prepared to pay. Long story short, we met at a reasonable price point (I cancelled a few other upcoming estimates - because I know what I paid pre-pandemic and a slight increase in cost of living plus, since I had worked with this company before I was confident in a good result). His team was able to come out on Saturday 02/05/22 @8:30am with 2 climbers, 2-3cleaners and 1 tree trimming machine eater! They got to work quickly and efficiently. They trimmed it back exactly how I would have wanted it. They cleaned up my yard and my neighbors from falling debris. A big branch of our tree broke off and looked like it would fall on the neighbor's fence very soon. David came in the morning and gave us a quote, and we called him back the next day to schedule something. David was very pleasant to work with. He gave us a very reasonable price for the removal of that branch, trimming and cutting down the whole tree including the stump grinding. He also gave us a good deal on another smaller tree removal.
