Established in 1998.
Scaffidi Orthodontics brought its signature patient-first orthodontic care to the Northshore with our Slidell location on Gause Boulevard. Our expansion to Slidell allowed us to serve families across St. Tammany Parish with the same high standard of care established across Greater New Orleans.
Founded by Dr. David Scaffidi, the practice focuses on combining advanced orthodontic technology with accessible, affordable treatment. Meet the Business Owner: David S.
Dr. David Scaffidi, DDS, is a dedicated orthodontic specialist passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1991 before discovering his true calling in dentistry. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Louisiana State University Dental School and completed an intensive specialty residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at LSU.
With specialized expertise in tooth movement and facial mechanics, Dr. Scaffidi provides tailored treatment plans using clear aligners, clear braces, traditional metal braces, and TMJ therapies. He stays at the forefront of the field through continuing education and active participation in the Bassett Study Club, collaborating monthly with local dental specialists.
Dr. Scaffidi believes every patient’s story is unique and approaches each smile with integrity, warmth, and clinical precision.
