Alright, so I will say that who you get helping you makes a world of difference. I've had a couple different ladies help me previous and they were very dry, didn't really seem to listen to what I wanted and were just rushing me into a purchase that THEY liked. On the other hand...Vince is THE freaking man. He's great at his job for the customer and for DY. I don't want anyone helping me but him from here on out. He listens to everything you want, lets you take your time, and is a no judgement kind of guy. He's extremely responsive and bends backwards for the customer with a smile on his face. About 2 months ago I made my first purchase with David yurman. It was an exciting, good experience. I purchased 2 items, a pendant necklace and a pair of earrings. About 3 weeks into ownership, I was adjusting the chain around my neck and I felt it release and come loose. One of the links had opened, very surprising. I took it to one of your stores, they offered to replace the necklace, for sentimental reasons I choose to keep the one I have, you offered to repair it. Great! Thank you. What is frustrates me is i received a email that said it would be ready in 2 weeks and I would be notified if there was a delay. I haven't received that follow up. It's been 4-5 weeks now. I'm also frustrated that it broke in the first place from a normal interaction with the necklace. It makes me uncomfortable because a reasonable person would doubt my story. How could the necklace break while I rotate the chain around my neck? To be honest it makes me doubt the quality of your company. Since then, I've heard from management at Sethi in Mountain View. David yurmans jewelry breaks often and your repairs take a long time. So far you're living up to what I hearing. It's unfortunate that I'm getting the same experience. Working with Brandon on several occasions was a pleasure. He is personable, charming, and very down-to-earth. One can tell he loves what he does, and it exudes fun, classiness, and professionalism. There was ever a time we felt pressured by Brandon. The store manager and Brandon work respectively, and we're very accommodating and provide excellent customer service. The store setup is comfortable and with a nice seating area. Brandon always offered us refreshments and a warm and happy welcome whenever we stopped in. I am a perfectionist, and I noted to Brandon a few flaws in one of the designs, and he took it well and acknowledged my observations on the difference. My purchases have been excellent, and I enjoy every piece I've purchased, even though there are slight imperfections in the design quality. Most people will miss it, as the store acknowledged. You would think working for a reputable brand like David Yurman you would have the best sales rep out on the floor Every time I go to this mall I always stop by the DY store. I love their jewelry. But that day I felt like I don't want to come back. I bought my cuff bracelet at the David Yurman store at the Forum in Las Vegas. Unfortunately at the airport on our flight back to the bay someone stole my bag of goodies and the box that came with my purchase. Good thing I was wearing my bracelet. I decided to drop by the DY store in Santa Clara and ask if they can give me a box to store my bracelet in when I'm not wearing it. I remembered when I purchased my bracelet in Vegas that they gave me a nice beautiful box with a pouch. To my disappointment, the lady at the DY store in Santa Clara was not friendly nor helpful. I explained my situation and she looked over to the man next to her, as if she was waiting for his approval to give me a box. I then looked at the man and said I have my receipt of my purchase in my email. The lady came back with a pouch, I asked if I can have a box as well. She then hesitated and looked over the man again. At this point I was frustrated and felt so humiliated how they were hesitating just for a box. I would've paid for a replacement box if it was so difficult for them to give me one. I then told them if I'm going to pay a lot of money for a piece of jewelry I would like to have a box and a pouch which that is what I got when I purchased my bracelet. So finally they handed me a box with a pouch and looked at me like they just wanted me to go, I felt so humiliated by the customer service/treatment I got that day at the DY store. I then asked if I can just get a bag. The box was big and I didn't want to walk around the mall holding a DY jewelry box. Then he said he can give me just a regular bag so it conceals the box. I told him it doesn't matter what bag just as long as I don't have to hold this big box around the mall. That's so tacky. I felt so humiliated, so unwelcome and very very disappointed with the customer service. They should retrain the sales reps to be better with customers. My fiancé and I had a great experience here. He found his ring online and I suggested that we find a storefront, so that he could actually try it on before we purchased it (considering it is a piece he will likely wear for the rest of his life). We found his ring at the Valley Fair Mall in San Jose. We called ahead and had someone set aside the ring in his size for us. The mall itself is gorgeous! The David Yurman store was lovely and we were treated very nicely from the minute we walked in until the minute we left - which was a pleasant surprise considering our ring was one of the more reasonably priced (versus high-priced) pieces. I came in to return a product the other day so this review will be based on that. When I first walked in there was no one to greet you at the front of the shop. There were also no customers in the store at the time. As I turned to go deeper in the store I found a sales associate putting some jewelry back in the display case and she asked how she could help. I informed her about my return but the packing slip I brought from the packaging did not contain the price. I located the email that confirmed my order # and showed the price and handed her that for review. This is the part of the process that needs to be addressed. She proceeded to walk away with my phone (unlocked) and my return into a back room. Now this is not the first shop I've visited that doesn't have a register on the sales floor. I've been to multiple Gucci locations where the checkout/return process is essentially handled just outside the employee break or stock room. I waited patiently as I wasn't too pleased I allowed her to take my phone like that and I didn't escort her. Not to say they were doing anything deceptive back there but this is a crazy world we live in and who's to say someone back there isn't cloning my phone or doing something else they shouldn't be doing. They have access to my email and just about everything else. After a few minutes she returned because my phone locked itself and she needed it unlocked again. I unlocked it and this time followed her as she also needed my credit card to process the refund. Turns out there was a gentleman (manager?) in the back writing the information down and he failed to write something down in time from the email. She informed him I was there and he requested the information and said he no longer needed the phone. I returned to the sales floor (they still had my credit card) and waited about 5 more minutes for them to finish. She eventually returned and had me sign two receipts to confirm the process. This process needs to change, you should never take a customers phone with out them accompanying you. Or you can simply request they forward a copy of the receipt to the store if you don't have access to pull up their order from your system. read more

Turned in a bracelet for a minor repair and was informed the repair could take quite awhile. No problem, I'm reasonable, nice things are worth the wait. Called today and was informed the bracelet was ready for pickup. In fact the bracelet was ready two weeks after it was turned in for repair (normally a great thing!) but this was 6 months ago! I didn't call because I assumed due to the pandemic supply chain and labor shortage after-effects the bracelet was still being worked on (my basis for this assumption was when I purchased it it took 6 months to complete larger sizing). The CSR told me someone emailed me when the bracelet was ready and we confirmed they emailed the wrong address. Not the address on the repair nor my client profile. No follow up phone call, no second attempt, no third attempt, nothing. And no apology, just please pay $15 and the repair fee for us to ship it to you. Grumble. Come on, this is David Yurman. Fine jewelry. I own quite a few pieces and I expect more. Thick holiday catalogs and snazzy IG posts don't go very far if my local DY boutique can't handle a simple repair. We have choices and Tiffany & Co, Cartier, Ippolita all look pretty great about now. read more

I have to confirm that the service at this location is absolutely awful, not just for a luxury brand, but for any brand. We walked into the store looking for something specific - the sales lady after saying something sarcastic by way of introduction, then proceeded to be absolutely no help at well. They would not offer any actual assistance or advice about there merchandise, or any assistance with options for sizing, looking at potential other locations for sold out items, or anything helpful. If they don't have it they will make it for you... I couldn't decide exactly what I wanted and kept going back and forth, the sales consultant was absolutely helpful and very knowledgeable. She was able to share her recommendation. It wasn't shady where they try to up sale their products at all. She offered champagne and chocolate, even after my final purchase and transaction was completed, she let us sit around the sofa and enjoy the champagne. I would opt against purchasing from this brand and more specifically this location. I had placed a repair (which by the way, DY does not have warranties on their products) on June 19, and was told I would receive my repair in about 4-6 weeks, and they would contact me to approve the repair once they had received a quote for the actual repair. 6 weeks passed and I hadn't received my repair, which they told me had now extended to 6-8 weeks, then 8-10 weeks and now almost 3 months. Every time I've called myself, despite representatives and managers promising they would call back. On my most recent call, a representative quite literally said, "Yeah, this location doesn't necessarily do the best job of following up." I would advise not going to this location unless you want sub-par customer service and avoid DY in general as they don't back the "quality" of their products. read more

He said the alternative is to send it to their NY store for special treatment for $85. However, he advised that he will try his best to restore it and it'll be free. I won't buy DY jewelry again. The latch on my $1000 lapis maritime curb bracelet wouldn't stay shut, meaning that the bracelet would just randomly fall off. I took it the the David Yurman store in Costa Mesa. They in turn had to mail it somewhere for repair. I got the bracelet back a couple of weeks later. Was charged $85 for the repair. Guess what? Latch still doesn't work. I dare not even wear the bracelet now as it just falls off at random times. read more
