Went into this store to look at rings and wedding bands. There was a few people working on one asked us if we needed help. After asking for help we got a lady to help us look at some rings. We were looking at men's wedding bands. The sales person was so pushy and trying so hard to make a sale on us. She kept saying "we close in 30 minutes did you want this ring"? We felt super rushed and did not feel like buying a ring from someone who didn't want to help us instead just make a sale. This stores employees need a major attitude and customer service check. Absolutely hurting DYs brands. read more

The absolute worst service at this location. Truly a disappointment. Years ago I worked at David Yurman and it's truly sad to see how horrible they treat their customer at this location. Save your money and go buy it at Nordstrom or different location where they know how to take care of their customers. They sold me a broken bracelet and will not replace it. My fiancé and I had a great experience trying on rings at this location and placing our order to be delivered to our home in Sacramento. Huy greeted us and showed us several options for mens rings. We settled on matching Chevron bands. A few weeks later, we called the store and they were able to take our order over the phone and it was delivered just a couple of days later, wrapped up tight with a bow. When I called to ask a question about our order, I was able to speak directly to the store manager, who was an absolutely delight. We can't wait to get married and symbolize our love with these great bands. read more

I love to shop at Valley Fair mall... I came across David Yurman a few months back. I went in to look at watches but found an amazing selection of Mens jewelry... I have always felt welcomed inside the store and will continue to enjoy shopping at DY in 2017. If you are looking for bad customer service, please shop here. A friend and I walked in and we were never asked, "Is there anything you'd like to see?" or "May I help you?" Instead there were two salespeople and one of them pulled out paperwork to work on in front of us and the other one just stood there. Hmmm - I am certain they were making tons of sales on any given day of the year. If you like sterling silver, I'd go down a few stores to Tiffany & Co where the sterling silver is more high-end and modern rather than DY chunky jewelry for old women. Nothing sexy about DY. Plus Tiffany & Co offers 100x better customer service. I'd rather be wearing tons of gold and bling before I buy cheap sterling silver. I also feel the salespeople here are racists. Not worth the time to shop at a KKK-like environment in the middle of Silicon Valley. I ban ever coming to this place and/or purchase David Yurman jewelry. I bet Vegas money that they will go close this store in 2-3 years maybe less. I hope the salespeople find work in backward places like Alabama and Mississippi where people grow three heads and have no teeth because of excessive inbreeding. read more

Absolutely beautiful designs, just wish their customer service in store matches their brand. We went there to get the engagment ring resize and pick out wedding bands. Everyone smiled when we first walked in, but all walked away after knowing we were there for resize (we haven't mentioned about buying wedding bands yet). Anyways, the store manage served us. It's quite long a process, not on picking out rings, but waiting for them to get the paper work done. We were told the resize should be done in 10-14 business days and they will call us. One month passed, didn't receive any call. We called, and were told the band needs to be remade, the original method they suggested in store didn't work (so basically they have no idea what they were talking about when mentioning all those resize methods to us). And they said they will need to check on the wedding bands and call us back. Of course they never call. Anyways, we waited another 2 weeks and called again. Engagement ring still not ready, and the wedding bands have arrived, in different size than we ordered...they said, "oh we want you to try this size too". !!!!!! We tried many sizes during the last visit and they were the one insisted that size was the best fit!!! Overall we were quite shocked about the terrible experience with this "fine jeweler". read more

My husband and I went here on a weekend afternoon, and bought a renaissance style green onyx bracelet cuff ... their customer service is off the chain. Everyone was attentive and helpful, pulling various pieces that they thought I might like, offered us water. Everyone from the manager and salespeople--they were warm and friendly. The store itself has inadequate lighting, oddly dim for a jewelry shop, because I had to take walk over to their corner table lamp and hold the bracelet under the light to get a better look at the stones. Stronger, bolder strategically placed lighting would be a BIG plus here. A week later, I called for the 18k chrysoprase bracelet, and when they didn't have it in a size small, Erma Kolasinac spoke to me at length, searched their inventory, was kind enough to order it from another shop and overnight shipped it for the following day. Their customer service is beyond extraordinary and responsive: they're proactive and incredibly communicative, e.g. Erma emailed me the next day after the bracelet had arrived to let me know that, at my request, she'd called my husband and left a vm. I also had direct communications with the DY company, who offered to make me a custom piece ... despite the out of the way long distance from my home of the boutique, I'm very motivated to buy from them purely because of their excellence in service. They clearly aim to work with and please the customer, going the extra mile, e.g the overnight delivery. I've dealt with other high end jewelry stores, and am delighted and surprised with DY's attention to customer interaction. Wow. They train and keep up with the best of them ... they're extraordinary and lead by example. read more

I was engagement ring shopping and I had the most pleasant time in this store with Edward than I did at the other stores combined! Upon arrival I was greeted as I'd expect in any store, however, Edward stepped ahead to further assist in a very helpful manner. I did appreciate his listening skills to what I was looking for by not being a pushy salesman, his immediate sense of getting to know who I was by asking about me and my fiancé's love story, and his extremely quick follow thru by emailing me within 24 hours with some ideas and logistics of rings I may like. Edward not only remembered me the following day with his email, but remembered when my fiancé was in town and kindly checked in on us and reminded us of his offer to help. (We did end up giving business to my fiancé's uncle to keep it in the family, but Edward was most definitely a close second to family!) I really enjoyed it when Edward reached out yet again with his happiness when I shared with him that we had found 'the ring' despite the fact that it was from somewhere else. I felt his sincerity and thoughtfulness was beyond any normal customer service, but more on a personally level. I wasn't dressed particularly nice (jeans / tshirt) and I walked in to browse / not buy. However, a sales associate helped me find exactly what I was looking for and she was extremely helpful / friendly / pleasant. Terrible service, have bought $10k of jewelery from this boutique over the past couple of years, I will never go back after today. Went to exchange a couple of bracelets I bought my wife for her birthday, salesperson was AWFUL. Would not help look at options unless we asked for exactly the style and color by name, we had to get on the floor to look into the drawers and then she moved us to a different salesperson without even letting us know. Literally the worst experience I have had in a jewelry store ever. Buy your Yurman from Neiman Marcius or Bloomingdale's, this store is a joke. read more

I was a very frequent customer of the Valley Fair location, always paying cash or check. I made a purchase recently and went back in to buy a ring I had previously seen. I was not dressed in a suit, but was recognized as a good customer by a salesperson. When attempting to complete my purchase, my check was denied- the same checking account I used previously and which had cleared. It was disturbing and embarrassing and I feel it had to do with my attire and my race. The salesperson who recognized me acted as though he had no previous knowledge of my purchasing history. If you want to feel small, visit this location. I will never step foot in this store and advise other to avoid also. read more
