Amazing service!!! I can't express this enough! After having an ordeal at another local bridal store, my best friend (while in the local bridal store) called David's Bridal to see if they could squeeze us in for an appointment. Mind you, it was about 6:30 PM and we were looking to get an appointment in 15 minutes. They said no problem and see you in 15!!!!! At that point, I really didn't have high hopes because of my previous experience that night. But, they changed the tone of the entire night! They looked into the gowns I had saved to my favorites printed them out and hooked me up with a consultant (Caila-sorry if I'm butchering the spelling of your name lol). She showed me the different styles in the book and I showed her which gowns I wanted to try on. Mind you, I am a plus size bride (lots of excess baby weight) wearing a size 20/22 and they had every gown I wanted to try on in a floor model in my size except for one! I was very impressed! The store manager kept coming around and making sure we were doing ok. My best friend and I sort of took over the dressing room (felt more comfortable with her seeing me in spanks and a bustier, especially when I'm this large lol) but Caila and the manager kept asking us if we needed any help anyway (not in an annoying way though). I just can't express how wonderful they were to me and the feeling I left with that night with my head held high knowing that god forbid I don't lose the rest of this weight, I will still look gorgeous in one of the gowns there! I called early the day of to see if I could be scheduled for a fitting and asked for a 6:00 appointment. The woman I spoke to over the phone was very kind. I arrived an hour early for my appointment and asked if we could look around, but was told that I could start my appointment early if I would like. I met with Cala (wonderful personality, very sweet) and she took my measurements. She talked with me about my tastes and what I had in mind. I showed her a picture of a dress on my phone and she was ready to start pulling dresses that were the exact right size! I tried on something that was almost exactly like what I showed her and I hated it! She went back and pulled more dresses in different styles. There was one I was skeptical of, as I had said I didn't want strapless but it was my favorite at the time. That in mind, she pulled more dresses and we were up to about 12 by now. The one she picked was still my favorite. That in mind, she showed me more in that style and... I definitely found the one! She took all my body concerns into consideration- helped me into shape wear that would give me my ideal form- and showed me that the right dress isn't always what brides first are drawn to. She was very knowledgeable, patient with me, and so helpful getting in and out of the dresses; even letting me try on heels and veils to complete the look... and patient with my mothers and I as we browsed the racks! I went dress shopping with my niece (Bride), her sister, (Matron of Honor) plus two junior Brides Maids and the Mother of the Bride, who was in a wheelchair. We were met by a lovely young lady, who couldn't have been nicer. She doted on the Bride and helped her pick out several dresses to try on from their huge array of gowns. The Matron of Honor and the two juniors all found dresses they liked from the large selection of attendant dresses. If someone can't find their dress or gown in David's then it's their own fault. While waiting for the modeling, I wheeled the Bride's Mother around to look at the many gowns. There are all different priced gowns from under $100.00 to over $5,000.00, in any size, color and design. Price should never be an issue there. Anyway, the Bride found her dream dress and the very knowledgeable bridal assistant gave suggestions for a jeweled belt which was gorgeous on the dress, a spectacular headpiece without a veil as requested and shoes. I do not understand how people could give only one star unless they were difficult or rude patrons. We all gave David's Bridal five stars and we look forward to going back for a fitting next month. Sadly, the Bride's Mother passed away recently but I know she would agree that the experience was first rate and that she certainly enjoyed herself that day. My daughter and I went to our local David's Bridal shop in Horseheads.NY today. She's getting married next May and wasn.t quite sure where to start. I, of course, said...the DRESS!!! We started our search there, not really sure what to expect. We really weren.t thinking she would find her dream dress. We were immediately greeted at the door. Within minutes, we were seated at the desk to register and get hooked up with our specialist. ( Erin ) The girls were very busy with several clients at the time, but that didn't stop Erin from making us feel so welcome! She took the time with my daughter to talk to her about her ideas about a potential dress. She started her with 3 dresses, all matching my daughter's ideas. Erin...you nailed it!!! The 2nd dress my daughter tried on was it....her dream dress!!!! She had her try another one on just to be sure. On a side note...my Iphone sounded the alarm that a tornado warning was issued. Erin and Amanda (store mgr) didn't skip a beat!!! LOL As an executive with Macy's, I would like to personally thank both ladies for taking such wonderful, genuine care of my daughter with this very special day for us. If I could give these girls a higher rating I would! I made an appointment to try on dresses from my 2015 wedding online and was greeted very warmly at the front desk by the manager. This was a first time experience for me and the 3 ladies I had with me for support. Everyone in the store made us feel like they were going out of their way to make it a memorable experience. We had a blast!!! I tried on so many dresses, we went way beyond our scheduled appointment (probably not recommended) The sales consultant continued to get my questions answered, get me new dresses, and help me change. All while helping 2 other brides at this point! My group went to lunch and came back to the same warm and helpful attitude we were greeted with when we came in the first time. I ended up buying a dress that I choose for all of the wrong reasons and within 24 hours regretted my decision and was in panic mode for passing up THE ONE to save money! These girls immediately placed a hold on my order and brought me back in to fit me for the right dress. They even gave me credit for the accessories I purchased for the for the dress I was exchanging. They were amazing! I highly recommend going to this David's Bridal!!! read more

I received exceptional customer service at David's Bridal this morning. The doors were personally opened for both my bridal party, another bride and her bridesmaid. This experience was better than what I've seen on television at other bridal stores, we were not only greeted with a warm welcome and a smile, we were immediately waited on. When describing they style gown I was looking for and after trying on several gowns in the store, the bridal associates were very patient and understood that trying to find the perfect gown isn't something that happens over night or even in the first fitting. Amanda Tosh (Assistant Manager) assisted me and my bridal party with finding the perfect dress that not only highlighted my curves, this dress was very elegant and uniquely fit my personality. I am so fortunate to live so close to this David's Bridal, and equally pleased in my choice in using David's Bridal to find my wedding gown. I am so Impressed with all of the staff at David's Bridal in Horseheads NY. Erin The stylist helped me find the perfect dress. Without an appointment I just went to look. The dress was ordered and there in 3 days. They bumped up my alterations a week. Gloria and Kathy helped me with alterations and were so kind and helpful to me. I went to pick up my dress and Amanda always greets you with a smile and is so helpful with anything you need. I then had help from Gayle to try the dress on after alterations, which they also bumped up the time on that day due to the weather. I appreciate all the staff there who helped me at the last minute to pick out the dress and alter it and have it ready on time. It was short notice and I have to fly out to Florida next week to be the maid of Honor in my sisters wedding. They are an AWESOME group of ladies and I want to say THANK YOU for all of your kindness and help in making me feel Beautiful and ready, on time, last minute for my sisters special day. I don't even know where to start. I have had a fantastic experience with the Horseheads David's Bridal. As a bride, choosing the perfect dress can be scary. I scheduled my appointment and had 3 of my bridesmaids with me. My Bridal consultant, Calia, was awesome. I showed her the styles I had in mind and she brought me a few similar dresses to try out. Ironically, the dress I tried first to rule it out was the one I chose in my second appointment. She was very quick at getting to know not only me and my taste, but also what would look best for my body style and height. She was patient and helped with the girls in choosing a dress that was the perfect complement to mine. All of the ladies working were very helpful, kept everyone in great spirits, and I would highly recommend them for any Bridal party. The consultant I worked with was Katie she was totally awsome and focused on me the whole time. She helped knew all the dresses and found a sale dress that fit what I was looking for and fit like a glove. She was patient as I debated on which dress I liked and encouraged me to come back with my mother and think about it to make sure it was my dress I bought my dress, the bra, the slip, my vail, my tiara, and the preservation kit for less than I would have paid for just the dress at the other bridal shops. I also got a lot of coupons and deals for my bridesmaids and groomsman and the groom plus a free photo book from shutterfly and the preservation kit is guaranteed. Everyone was so helpful and it was nothing but positivity they showed me what the bustle would look like and made sure everything was just right. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

I went to this place in Feb 2015 for a Winter Formal Dress for my daughter. Not only is the service VERY POOR.!!! But when it came to helping me try to find the dress in another size. I was told really its only a dress. I am a parent who tries to do the very best to have my daughter feel good about herself. She fell in love with a dress and I could not get help from any sales ladies to get off there butts to look it up in another store. I was more then willing to pay for the cost of shipping or even go to the other store to buy it. To tell a parent its just a dress..Ya I know this but it made my daughter feel good about herself in this dress. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.!!! IN HORSEHEADS, NY. Amazing Experience! Sarah, our attendant during my daughter's appointment, went above and beyond what I had expected! She was knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, most importantly, she made the experience fun and stress free! My daughter said "yes to the dress" and rang the bell! We left the store today confident that a major part of the upcoming wedding was taken care of, and now we can just enjoy the rest of the planning! She was amazing, and that's saying something because the day we went they were short staffed because of someone calling in sick so she was juggling twice the amount of customers and was doing an amazing job, she managed to not only make my experience memorable but everyone else's too. My sister had an appointment at this David's Bridal location yesterday. The bridal consultant assigned to her was Calia and she was wonderful! She was so friendly, helpful, and understanding, and she had such a positive attitude! She worked really hard for us for 2 solid hours, and helped my sister find the perfect wedding gown! There was only one employee that was less than friendly, otherwise everyone there was extremely helpful and very nice. I walked in with out an appointment and even though that was frowned upon at first. I had a great experience while prom dress shopping! I walked in today and the staff were very nice! The prom dresses were all beautiful and nothing was over $300, and they were all great quality. They also had a great variety of sizes. The staff didn't hover but were quick to help if I had any questions. The dress I ended up buying was too big, so the tailor came and looked at the dress and told me it could be easily altered. read more

Not sure why all the negative reviews. Amanda and Brittani(?) were amazing!!! They did everything all in one day! The bridesmaids dresses came all within 5-6 weeks in the right color and sizes.
