For new laminate flooring for my condo I carefully checked the online reviews for the various local options. I noticed that a number of prominent ones had surprisingly negative reviews. Dave's Flooring had consistently positive reviews both for the quality of the materials, the attention to detail of the installers, and the favorable cost estimate. The installation involved floor leveling which added to the cost because of the expense of the self leveling cement and the extensive labor involved. But absolutely worth the cost to permanently establish a completely level, permanent foundation to avoid buckling and damage over time to the flooring. The self leveling cement requires a few days to fully cure before the flooring can be installed, but also absolutely worth the wait. Once the installation began it was completed in one day. The installers are very good at moving whatever furniture remains to expedite the installation. They consulted with me regularly about specific preferences and any questions about specific details. And they were very good at troubleshooting particular aspects of the installation. The completed installation is a HUGE improvement to my condo which eliminates concerns about stains and, unlike carpeting, is easily cleaned on a regular basic, and retains its high quality appearance over time. New flooring is a major investment that requires reliance on an installation company with an established record of customer satisfaction and favorable pricing. After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. I rarely write reviews, but this company and Vitaliy really saved us. We got into a large renovation and had horrible problems with another tile contractor. I won't go into all the details, but we had a brand new house and new tile and most of it had to be ripped out. Tile is not one of those things that are easy to undo mistakes (especially in areas where water contacts). Vitaliy came out when others did not want to get involved. He came out listened to us, showed us things he thought were done wrong and even called the other tile contractor to share his insights on the problematic work. He built a lot of credibility before we even started. He got his team out to demo and reinstall tile in our bathrooms. The end product is exactly what we had discussed and he charged us exactly what he proposed. He and his team were courteous the entire time they were here. We recently replaced our carpet with David Flooring, and it turned out to be a really smooth experience. David came over, took measurements, and gave us a straightforward quote--very easy to work with and no pressure. I have two bathrooms where the caulking around the tub and shower have become moldy over the years and I needed someone to replace it. Adrian responded to my request right away and, after considering other bids, I chose David's Flooring. They offered to do this for 1/3rd of the lowest bid that I received from anyone else. Several of the other companies weren't willing to consider the job because it was relatively small and didn't involve any tile work. We had David's flooring install beautiful hardwood floors throughout our home and they did an incredible job! The crew is polite, professional, and efficient. We were able to order custom floor vents that lay flush and match our floors as well as custom square nose stair heads that look great! The team installed and painted our baseboards in such a timely fashion even our exterior painter was impressed. We also had them lay tile in our laundry room and we are very pleased with how it turned out! We had many options of grout to choose from and the grout lines are very fine which we are grateful for!
