Because of the ratings, I decided to give this place a try. I called them when we were leaving Lagoon for me and two teenage boys and they had a pizza ready for us by the time we got there. It's delicious! The ratings didn't let us down. The crust is crispy and the flavor is really good. There are no Dine in options here so we are eating in the car, but it was worth it. I surprised my husband with David's pizza two months back and we've already ordered 3x from them since then! Their pizza pies are indulgent. We always ask for extra sauce and they are happy to oblige. The team is very accommodating. We were able to get pizza delivered to us past their closing time once and we were so grateful that they were willing to make the drive to Farmington. They do it with a smile on their face too. Everything we've tried has been fantastic. That includes the BBQ wings, pizzas with various toppings of our choice, the cheesy bread, and tonight, we're trying the cinnamon sticks. Pizza was not good. I was very disappointed with the burnt cheese over the entire pie. Sauce was almost nonexistent and the sausage was dry and lacked any defining flavor. Service was so so... they apologized for not starting the pizzas earlier from our phone order so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes or so which I wouldn't have minded if the pizza was good. Sadly, this place is under new ownership, we ordered our favorite calzones, sighhhh...I want to say something nice but I can't. They were sloppy with the dough, it looked like a light colored mud pie, it wasn't fully cooked leaving it mushy and doughy. The wings were also goopy, fatty and undercooked, but our air fryer fixed that problem. Unfortunately, we are done with this local favorite. We've tried them many times, both delivery and pickup, and it is just not worth it anymore. The crust is never fully cooked(even when we've asked for a well done crust), this time around the crust was not fully formed(leaving holes in the slices so trying to serve guests a full slice was unsuccessful ), and when my in laws were here there was metal mesh cooked into one of the pizzas. They did refund us for that, and we continued to order from them to give them a chance, but we will not be ordering from them again. It has just been a horrible experience for us. I know a lot of locals love this place and I don't want to discount that. You may love it. We may just have had a string of bad luck with them. We just can't justify it anymore. A 12" pepperoni pizza here costs about the same price as a Hot N Ready from Little Caesars, but it taste much better. Honestly I didn't have high expectations for this pizza. The crust didn't look that pretty and the pepperoni had a unique smell, but after trying it I was pleasantly surprised. They cook their pizzas in pans, so they are essentially pan pizzas, but the crust isn't too thick, and has a nice crisp too it. I thought the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni was all fine for the price. I'm happy I tried David's. If the pizza had cost more, my review probably wouldn't have been as high, and it won't be my go to pizza place, but I'll certainly remember them when I'm looking to get a good tasting pizza for a good price. read more

The crust is standard fare but the toppings made it sing. My 12" pizza weighs maybe 3lbs and would feed several adults. It is piled with fresh, sweet tomatoes, onions and crisp green lettuce. My husband and I enjoyed David's pizza and wings. I get why some reviews say it's blend because David's pizza was definitely less saltier than Papa Johns (we usually get delivery pizza from there). I liked David's better. Super flavorful, not just cheesy and salty! The pizza dough was softer and bread-like texture which I love. Whenever we order pizza, we usually throw away half of crusts because they get too tough to chew or they don't have much flavor in it, however we finished all of them with David's Pizza.
