Wowza!!! Lucky Slice was recommended to me as I am a huge pickle fanatic! I was told that on Saturdays they have a pickle pizza called "The Real Dill". Now pickle pizza doesn't sound a that delicious, but the recommendation I received said it was one of the best pizzas ever, so of course I had to try it! While there I also tried a staple pepperoni pizza too! I was able to easily place and online order. You can either order whole pizzas, or for some of them you can just order by the slice! Inside the joint they had such cool vibes with stickers everywhere and old arcade machines. The staff is always friendly, they inside of the store maintains an old school pizza parlor influence while still being clean and upbeat. The pizza is a little more on the side of thin crust, but still stays hardy enough to be filling. A medium pizza is ok for 2 people, but might be a little too light for 3. I think this location has really upped their game since my visit a few years ago and that is worth some kind words. The pie selection is fantastic and the "by the slice" option is really nice for when you need pizza now, but not left overs. Daily fare is placed in view and you order it to be prepared for you. It comes out piping hot and served to your table. They rotate some daily specials and also run seasonal specials. While I can't wrap my head around "corned beef and cabbage" I fell in love with "French Onion Soup." Sides are legit here and you just can't go wrong with the breadstick. Their pizzas are really good with the regular dough crusts. It's just simple and delicious. Since I'm slightly sensitive to gluten I usually get a gluten free and it was decent but the crust could be better. The cheese and toppings are awesome but the crust had lack of texture and A little too soft so the toppings kept sliding off. As for service it was good but they did forget to make my pizza so my partner got theirs and I sat there for 20 mins before they brought mine out and immediately apologized for forgetting the order and gave me the pizza for free on the house. Well I was looking forward to a good experience with Lucky Slice. However, it wasn't the case. First of all, my order was at least 56 min late. I had to call and get an update and even then the girl didn't know what was going on. Because she offered to throw in an extra treat, but the delivery was made within 5 mins of our phone call. Which showed up cold and without the treat offered. So I was not too pleased with Lucky Slice. Second, $1.60 per wing, c'mon that's a bit much. The wings were seasoned well, but still a bit over priced. Besides my pizza being colder than necessary, the ingredients and flavor were still satisfactory. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll order from lucky slice again, on a Wednesday you struggled with delivery, I'd hate to be a customer on game day! Tonight I had a terrible experience at Lucky Slice. Their website clearly stated they were open until 10 PM (we didn't realize it was actually only opened until 9 until the staffed rudely informed us), but when we arrived well before then, the staff greeted us with nothing but sighs, while rolling their eyes and saying, "Oh my gosh." They were extremely rude throughout the entire process. We decided to leave and not even order because of the terrible customer service. While walking out, we were appalled as they clapped while we walked out. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable; It's honestly a disgrace. He got the smallest pizza they had and it was still $22 for just one pizza. We only ordered 2 pizzas to feed 3 people and it cost over $50. I've eaten at the Lucky Slice on 25th Street in Ogden and have enjoyed the variety of pizza choices they offer. This was my first visit to this location. It has been the site of multiple failed restaurants in the past, so I was hoping the Lucky Slice had the right recipe for success to make this location work. You must walk in and go up to the counter to order, then choose your seat. They have precooked pizzas behind the glass that you can choose from, and/or order additional menu items such as chicken wings. We opted for the two slices and a drink deal. I tried the Flower Child slice with spinach, tomatoes, and olives. They heat it up for you so it's warm for the first bite. The pizza is a thin slice so don't come here looking for a deep dish. My pizza flavor was good, but I may opt for a different flavor next time. There wasn't anything overly special about my slice and now I can say I tried it and move on to the next one. My husband's slice was a bit greasy and he didn't seem to impressed. read more

You order at the counter and they have it ready for you in just a minute or two. This is New York style thin crust pizza. The crust has a nice crispness on bottom, but it's still easy to fold up and cram in the pie hole. I've read a few reviews about it being greasy. LOL Was the water too wet as well? Unless you're ordering a salad on your pizza (Hello, California Pizza Kitchen) you're gonna have a little grease. It's the exquisite bi-product of heating tasty meats. Speaking of which, I had the Carnivore. (Big surprise) I loved it. My wife went with the Hawaiian and loved it as well, although she was really tempted to try The Monthly. This month it is Garfield's Lasagna. Funky slice with bow tie pasta, mozzarella, parmesan, ricotta, and meat sauce, with a drizzle on top. There are also daily slice specials to choose for each day of the week. If you want a whole pie, your choices just doubled. They come in 14" and 20". Lots of cool Lucky Slice stickers under the counter if you need to adorn your snowboard, car bumper, or in my case, the walls of my garage. Just ask and they'll let you grab a bunch. read more

The pizza here is perfectly cooked with flavors that aren't overpowering. They have a flavor of the month, for May 2019 it's the Real Dill, a pizza with crust, cheese, pickles and dill. This was my favorite pizza there! Better than the New Yorker and Carnivore, but these are good options as well. The crust was thin, crisp, not burnt, the toppings are balanced. Their buffalo wings have a nice and gentle flavor, not overpowering but small in size. I'd recommend this place for the casual diner. Better than most pizzas, especially for the price. read more

The place isn't very large but it's got a fun and casual atmosphere, with a varied clientele. Service was good. The Lucky Slice pizza has some great combinations to try. However, I prefer thicker or pan-style crusts on my pizza . So this won't be my first choice next time I want pizza. They offer some of the Utah brewery options which is great. This location could have been cleaner. I was disappointed as this trendy place with cool pizza options, was as unclean as it was. It really had more of divey feel.
