The absolute worst service experience from a business that has a 4.8 rating. I can't imagine how they achieved this given the experience we had. Our motorhome washer/dryer was leaking but only after I would use it. But I'd discovered that it didn't happen if I turned off the source of the water after each use. But we wanted to know the source of the leak and what the remedy was. Admittedly they did locate the source and told us the remedy. And in doing this the main tech made some adjustments on the hot and cold shut off valves. He very explicitly said "don't touch or mess with these now." We didn't. Went to bed and the next morning awoke to a washing machine tub overflowing and massive leaking in the coach basement. Also, they had originally told us that they'd call when tech was on his way. They didn't and he showed up at 7 We had already decided that we weren't going to do the fix on the old washer/dryer but when we called the office they said they'd send someone over--at no charge. We declined. We knew how to prevent another incident and we didn't want the tech to tell us the same thing as he'd told us the night before and then potentially screw up again. pm. And then the tech showed up at our motorhome at 9:00 am even though we had explicitly said that we didn't want a return visit. Again, no phone call to alert us. Today my husband went to the David's RV office hoping to negotiate the $260 charge to analyze the problem but then leave us to face the problem (flooded washer and rv basement) the next morning. We were hoping to get the bill reduced to $130-160 or get some consideration of a compromise but the person at the desk wouldn't even engage my husband in any discussion o of the bill and dismissed him and our legitimate complaint. He also told my husband (who mentioned the lack of promised phone calls to us) that he was too busy to call us to prepare us for the arrival of the techs. $260 down the drain and another mess to clean up--courteous of David's RV! read more

They came prepared for whatever was actually wrong- not just what I assumed was the problem! They were methodical and relentless as they actually figured out the real problem (mouse damage to wires!) and only used what parts they had to PLUS rewired the whole multiwire controls for the valve. They left me the new main valve as they only needed the control so I am prepared for next time. Fair documented time and they hustled. Fair prices excellent work and a pleasant co-operating team. David's Rv Service is great. They had fixed our motorhome. Now we have a 5th wheel. We had 2 issues, water heater and a dead microwave. Both were handled professionally. I was surprised at how quickly it was completed. His technicians were friendly and courteously. read more

As anyone who own's an RV knows, quality and quick service don't normally go hand in hand. David's RV has definitely found a way to put both in hand of its customers. We needed to have our RV repaired for a rookie mistake of not winterizing properly which caused our hot water heater to begin leaking. They quickly assessed the issue and completed the repair, and some other work we wanted done within 1.5 weeks. Amazing! Our technician, Chris, was amazing. Needed an emergency repair on my trailer wheels. The grease caps had fallen off, probably from a previous maintenance wheel bearing packing from a Dealer. Called and spoke to Kelly, she was super understanding and advised me to bring in the trailer before 11:30 and they'd fix the issue. Upon arrival at 10:30, met with Ryan the tech and showed him the issue. He immediately assessed the issue and stated that this would be fixed by installing new grease caps and should take about 20 minutes. It did, they charged one hour of labor and 2grease caps. Very reasonable charges. If you're stuck in Show Low/Lakeside with a trailer issue - These are your go to guys! read more

David is awesome. Nothing worse than a breakdown but David made it bearable. We had a supplemental braking system failure and he knew the system well. He did a great job in responding within two hours of my call. He diagnosed the problem and tried to find the best solutions to get us on the road quickly and safely. He took the part back to the shop, repaired it and returned and had us up and running in less than 24 hours total. The value he offered was one of the best I have seen in my RV travels. read more

I decided to have Daves RV repair my Splendide combo washer/dryer since the new model had a design flaw pointed out by a commenter who bought their new model, I decided not to get it and a new Equator was delivered to me from Lowes but was damaged. Juan and Abraham removed the old splendide w/d without incident and brought it back in 1-2 weeks and reinstalled without incident. Juan and Abraham were very good and careful about getting it back into my 5th wheel and Juan was also very personable and answered all the questions I had. It needed a new motherboard. It cost me less than a new w/d would have cost me and I still would have had to pay for install of the new one. It's been working flawlessly so far so I'm happy. Good Job Juan! I'll start by saying that Al is phenomenal! These guys are fantastic and when I say that, I mean it from a broad perspective. It's hard to get really good technicians who seriously know their stuff. These guys nailed that. It's hard to get folks who have a true service-oriented mindset and these guys nailed that as well. I've been incredibly impressed with my contact with them from my first contact to the last. If I'm ever traveling through the area and need anything done on my trailer, there's a very strong chance I'll slap some temporary fix in place that'll last until I can get to them and I'll have them fix it for good. read more

I only leave reviews for positive feedback so now my experience with David's RV. Had issues with my refrigerator in my motorhome. Went to David's and spoke with Al. Explained the issue and told him the make of the fridge and his expert knowledge he was able to give me the model before I could give it to him. What a shock. He scheduled service and in two days David was out to diagnose the problem. Fantastic person to deal with. The service techs were Juan and Patrick who were exceptional and replaced the cooling unit. They stuck with it until the job was completed even into the evening hours. They came back the next day to follow up. Had an issue with the ventilation fan a week or so later and David came out and corrected that issue. Everything working great. What a heat company and people to deal with. If you have any RV issues and you're in Pinetop/Lakeside or Showlow or probably anywhere in the White Mountains please give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I can't say enough about this company! They were promo and efficient and installed a new awning for my RV in record time! Not only was the estimate reasonable, the final amount due was several hundred dollars below the estimate! And while they were there, they re-leveled my RV, fixed a small leak they noticed near the hot water water heater AND they pulled some bad fuses so my husband could buy new ones. All at no extra charge! Super nice guys! We will be handing out extra business cards! If only there were such a service anywhere available in California!! read more

Gave them a call late in the day near closing and they answered! honestly told us that bring our RV in the shop instead of the mobile service would be better because they might have to make a custom propain hose for the leak we couldn't locate. Told us to show up anytime the next day, did and they promly found and fixed the leak with a new custom hose. Asked them to replace the regulator too.
