Though we were hoping to hurry in efforts to not keep them this was such great advice as I switched one of my scoop flavors which made, in my opinion, the most perfect two scoop cup. They were patient and welcomed questions and a conversation. I also ended up with a bag of delicious candies and chocolates because everything looked delicious and it absolutely was. Everything didn't last a day. What a gem to get ice cream, unique candies as well as common candies and delicious chocolates all in one stop.

I had gone there with my wife for their Oktoberfest and to pick up a collectible stein and again, even though I got there much earlier, they supposedly were already sold out even though for the whole 45 minutes to an hour that I was there, I kept seeing other people being given Steins, but that's gonna be on my 903 review. This is all about Ivanhoe. So after leaving Sherman disappointed, we decided to hit Main Street liquor to pick up some Buffalo trace which is pretty much hard to find everywhere around here. After that, my wife had suggested we check out Homestead winery. We walked in through Ivanhoe and were pleasantly surprised with the fact they were doing Oktoberfest as well and had a really nice decorated brew hall. The ladies were dressed to impress and very politely offered me a stein, and I did a double pour of their Märzen. It was so much better than the one I had just had not even half an hour ago down the street at 903. That one was watery and flat tasting, this one had all of the hints and notes of a good solid Märzen. I was very impressed with it and also their level of service. Very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we have missed the Oktoberfest band, but we did stick around to catch Van Ulrich in the evening, ended up staying there for several hours and drinking more beers and wine from their neighbors. I also tried their peanut butter stout which I also found to be delicious. 2 for 2! I believe we were helped by Anna. She was really friendly and even sat down with us for a bit. The whole time we were there, we felt like we were in someone's house as friends sharing a drink, which is the feeling that all brew and wineries, no matter how big or small, should strive for. We will definitely be going back again very soon thank you.

It was dark, around half the lights were out. We approached the bar and waited... and waited. We went to the winery side to see if there was anyone, and there wasn't any employees there either. Went back to the bar side to wait again, and eventually got fed up and left altogether. Now I'm not sure if we would give it another chance. I was quite disappointed after enjoying our first time there

It is tucked away, off the beaten path, on a beautifully kept property. There is convenient parking right next to the tasting room. You can choose to sit indoors or out on one of the patios - there are mini-golf holes on one and giant chess pieces on the other. When you enter the tasting room, everything is decorated with aviation items. It is super cute inside. Bathroom was clean. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine was terrific! We enjoyed tasting dry whites and reds and were extremely happy with all the wine. The reds were especially smooth and delicious. We also walked around outside a little before we left. There are vineyards and a large pond. You are able to get married here and there is another building to use for a reception. Definitely pay them a visit and try their wine. It's worth the drive!

The bed comfortable, pillows fluffy & the bathroom (tub & separate shower) & room was clean & quiet. There was even coffee & tea to be made with the coffee pot. We sat out on the front deck & talked, watched the cars & sunset. The owners even gave us some eggs on our way out. I highly recommend staying at the Four Winds Victorian when in Bonham, TX.
