I must first state that I am not a custom of Davis Sanitation Systems! I called them and spoke to a very nice lady, informing her that I needed my septic tank dug out and pumped. After listening to my situation, she asked if she could call her husband and call-me-back. Within a couple of minutes, she called and told me that her husband suggested that my problem sounded more like a clogged pipe than a full septic tank. He suggested that I could unplug the pipe myself (offering me suggestions on renting the machine from Home Depot) or they would come-out and do it for me. They said that they didn't want to take my money, if it really was just a simple fix that I could do myself. I called Davis Sanitation Systems and was able to speak to the owner as well as a very nice lady, informing her that I needed my septic tank pumped. After listening to my situation, they offered to come out. After coming out and pumping out the septic tank, the business owner offered helpful suggestions on renting or buying plumbing equipment machines from home depot or other hardware stores. He also gave useful advice as to what is safe and not safe to put into the septic tank. We were so happy with the service we called them out again a week later and had them install 2 clean outs for our aging septic tank; just in case we need to get the drain line unclogged in the future. The price for both the pumping and installing the cleans outs were reasonable. I felt very satisfied with this company, and appreciate there honesty, and professional advise and feedback. Chris took the time (I mean serious extra time) to explain to me how septic tanks work, different systems, process of an inspection etc... I made an appointment with Davis Sanitation Systems to pump the septic tank. They showed up on time. I met Chris, the owner, and his assistant Curtis. Both were professional, courteous and very helpful gentlemen. In uncovering the caps, Chris indicated that the tank was almost full and if I had waited I would have been in BIG trouble. He indicated that there might be a possibility that because the tanks were so full that the leach lines were not working as they should and they may have to be replaced. He indicated if so, I was looking at a hefty invoice. While doing the pumping, Chris yells at Curtis and tells him to stop pumping, I see the problem. He removed a filter from the tank that was clogged. First thing Chris tells me, "you are very lucky, that filter just saved you a lot of money." That's when I knew I would be a customer for life. I was very grateful that I was not taken advantage of. Chris is a good and honest businessman. Every question I asked, he provided an answer.
