While the facilities are undeniably outdated with beds from what looks like the 70s or 80s and little TVs that aren't working (at least in my father's room), it's the staff and the care I'm impressed with. Most of the staff is wonderful. Most of them are dedicated to the comfort and care of the patients. The patients are kept clean, dry, and as comfortable as possible. I can see an effort made to entertain as well as to the little chores we all have to do like manicures and such all on a regular schedule. It is a nice center courtyard floor plan which gives residents a connection with the outside and each other. The floor plan is why I picked this facility as I knew my father would enjoy, looking out and even going out on occasion. It would be nice if the facilities got a little remodeling however, I'm glad they spend their money on the staff and having enough staff, instead of a nice new place with less staff in which patients are neglected or abused. We lucked out because my father got a perfect roomate whose mind is just fine. He keeps an eye on my father and calls the nurse anytime my father forgets and tries to get out of bed which he shouldn't do alone. I do wish the facility would use a pressure pad, either on the floor or bed, that would alert them if a patient was getting up. Overall, this place doesn't smell as bad as many of these facilities do, I believe thanks to the care and attention of the staff. I'm resting easy that my father is being well taken care of. Since insurance is covering this right now, and we haven't gotten a bill yet, I don't know what the value is, however, I am happy I picked these facilities. I would pick them again.

I contacted Dr. Lydie Hazan at 310-289-8242 and saw her at her office in Miracle Mile which is…read morelocated at 5800 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036. The office has a fair appearance, but when I looked around I noticed that they are still in boxes. They have been at 5800 Wilshire for the past two years and they are still unpacked which to me is unbelievable and very unprofessional. Her staff is fairly nice, but seemed tense and overworked. Well, the whole office seems unruly and all over the place so unhappy staff members are not a surprise. When I first met her, she walked into the exam room wearing stilettos and a bright red dress under her [white doctors'] coat as if she were still wearing the same outfit from her previous night out. She spent an adequate amount of time talking to me about my medical history and made sure I was healthy before she prescribed me any medication which seemed to be a good sign. Unfortunately a week after I started taking the medication, I began to feel ill due to severe side effects. I then had a hard time contacting and scheduling an appointment for follow up with her so I made my own decisions in regards to discontinuing the medication [which I really don't recommend without consulting a physician as it is dangerous and a major risk to one's health]. But when I finally got a hold of them and made an appointment, she did not even see me! She had her PA [physicians assistant] see me and run tests. I ultimately terminated our "doctor/patient" relationship during my second visit. It upsets me very much that she, as a physician did not seem to have interest in [healing/helping] her patients. Not only that, but she didn't seem to have a good relationship with her staff either. I heard crude comments, saw two of her nurses crying, heard her shout from her office and witnessed her fire someone. I guess she's not much of a people's person and I could understand people's disposition against her. As for my health, I do not feel confidence or comfort in her being my physician due to her lack of interest in both my health and well being.

They don't explain anything on the phone and they lie to you when you set up the appointment to come in for your lousy $50 a study - first by telling you it will only be an hour and a half, second by NOT telling you you will be required to take a series of tests, and fill out all kinds of crazy paperwork, Plus be subjected to take an EKG by a student, who is not even a qualified real employee. On top of everything else, there was a total psycho in their lobby, who was screaming obscenities so loud, she could be heard from the second floor and everyone from the second floor came down to the first floor to see what the hell was going on. The girl working there told this psycho that she could not participate in a study because she had already participated at another locations. This psycho screamed, yelled, threatened the place and the girl working there, and they simply told her to "leave the building". and she refused to leave! I thought she was going to pull out a gun and start shooting - yes, she was THAT crazy! Nobody called the police or anything! They have no security there at all! I agreed to the stated 1-1/2 hour study, and I was there THREE hours - then they tried to cheat me out of my agreed amount of $50, by bringing in a check for a Lousy $25!!!! I nearly blew a fuse!!! I told them I agreed to do the study for $50 not $25 and they needed to pay me the $50 as agreed, which they told me it would be on the phone which is $50. I really had to put up a fight to get my money - it was ridiculous after spending twice the amount of time there and then for them to try to cheat me out of $25 was absolutely insane and unprofessional! I finally got them to write me a check for the REAL amount of $50 and after three hours which was supposed to only 1-1/2 hours, I was finally on my way! Being in the state of total distrust of them, I went to their bank in Century City, which took forever in a day to cash a lousy $50 check. They had to call the clinic, wait for the right person to talk to to get the authorization to cash the damn $50 check, call the bank manager to approve it, and if that wasn't enough, then they had to screw me around some more by not giving me enough validations to pay for the parking and I had to go back inside and really had to nag them to death to get the correct amount of validations to get out of the damed parking lot of the stupid bank! I am more than livid about this whole experience! I would not recommend this clinic to anyone on the face of the earth! It is the worst place ever!! Unbelieveable!!! Stay away from this place no matter what they do! They are liars, cheats, Time-wasters and completely unprofessional!!! What a scam!

I was a patient here before for 14 months and I recently had to come back for rehab after my foot surgery. The Nursing staff are fabulous Erica the charge nurse she is so full life, sweet , and she is on it she takes care of the floor as if it were her own. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The facility appeared outdated and poorly maintained, and the level of care was unacceptable. Throughout his stay, communication from the staff was poor. We repeatedly had to call and ask for basic information. During the last five days of his stay, my husband became increasingly confused and incoherent. I contacted the facility multiple times, expressed my concerns, and specifically requested that a doctor evaluate him. My concerns were ignored. The most alarming incident occurred when my husband fell on a Sunday and was taken to the ER. The facility never contacted me to inform me of what had happened. Instead, I learned that he was in the emergency room through a message from my husband himself. At the hospital, we discovered that his infection had significantly worsened. Given the symptoms he had been experiencing and the concerns I had repeatedly raised, this was deeply troubling. The problems did not end there. The facility failed to send his belongings to the hospital, and when I later returned to retrieve his medications, I was given the wrong medication. When you place a loved one in a care facility, you trust that they will be treated with dignity, compassion, and proper medical attention. We did not receive that level of care. I cannot recommend this facility to anyone. Our experience was stressful, frightening, and completely unacceptable.
