Meat Lovers Pizza

Pizza is good! Bar is okay, they let you play whatever music on jukebox which is a huge plus for me. Only the bartender technically serves you and there is only one usually even on busy nights. So not the best bar service. I only really come for the pizza which is priced good and good quality from the three times I've tried. No complaints !! At least Try the food!!

Really impressed! Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Pizza came hot. Thin crispy crust. Requested extra sauce and they delivered. Also tried the cheesy potato tots and they were really delicious. Highly recommend trying this place.

First time in the Dawghouse. Pizza was decent, though the sauce was a little too salty to taste. Crust was thin, but a little spongy or bread-like. Sausage had good flavor and pepperonis were crisp. The mushrooms were fresh so they dried out and there weren't a lot on the pizza. Was told over the phone it would be a 30-40 min wait, but was probably more like 20 mins, as the pizza wasn't as hot as it could've been. Italian sub was as you'd expect, though there was too much Italian dressing and the bun was soft. UPDATE: just had a cold piece of leftovers to snack on and found a long blonde hair stuck in the cheese my hair is black btw

I've been hearing about how great this pizza was for a couple of years now and finally decided to meet a friend who lived on that side of town for dinner on Black Friday. I really thought there was no way the pizza could live up to the hype and I'd be slightly, or highly disappointed. I was wrong. When we arrived the place looks pretty old and run down on the exterior but inside it is really nice and clean with plenty of seating and a stage for music and entertainment. It's also got a really nice bar as well. On the night we arrived the restaurant was mostly empty but the bar was packed at about 6:30pm, which is impressive. This tells me the place has a great local following which is a good thing. We ordered my wife a chicken parm sub, a pepperoni & sausage extra large (at the owners recommendation as their best pizza) and an all the way with extra cheese large pizza. We did order both pizzas extra done because I had heard that was a good way to order here. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and our food arrived within 20-25 minutes, all hot and fresh and wow the pizzas were massive! Very impressive looking as well. Could the pizzas taste as good as they looked? YES! Everyone at the table, except me, liked the pepperoni & sausage. It was amazing, nice, crispy pepperoni, a perfectly cooked thin crust and the sauce was plentiful and tangy and delicious. I loved it as well but liked the All the Way with extra cheese even more. Many places when you order a lot of toppings decrease each topping the more you add but not here, there was a TON of toppings and all were cooked perfectly. My wife really loved her chicken sub but only ate half as she really tore into the pizza, both of them, but mostly the sausage and extra pepperoni. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how high quality the sausage tasted as well as the pepperoni. Overall I'm just amazed and my only disappointment was that since I live in Marysville I will likely not get back here for a long time since it's about an hour or more drive to get there. My friends and folks I know had been raving about this place for a long time and I finally got to try it and wow. This is, in my book, the best Ohio style thin crust pizza that money can buy. And the bar is amazing, this would be an incredible (and from what I hear very lively) place to watch a Buckeyes game and have a beer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

They are consistent with the quality of their food. I appreciate the fresh veggies and the presentation of the pizza-its always the same.

Pepperoni sausage

Pepperoni sausage pizza. absolutely fantastic. I love the option for light, regular, or extra; however, the option for cheese wasn't there online. It was filling and the wings (forgot to picture) were amazing. Bummer the bleu cheese was marzetti's

1st time here. I heard about this place from the Columbus pizza Connoisseurs group. Everyone spoke highly of it so I decided to give it a shot. Ordering online was easy, the website was easy to use and probably faster than calling. I ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza with extra cheese. I dont recommend the extra cheese. It was a ton. I wondered why the box was so heavy and is definitely the cheese. They piled a mountain on top. It was a very thick layer and slightly over cooked. While It was still edible, I think it would have been great without extra cheese. I do reccomend trying them out if you get the chance.

Well, coffee bar closes around 1PM, and they flip it to bar time until closing. We were warmly greeted by the bartender (not sure if part owner since there may be a few according to the menu's gratitudes). This bar is chic with a dark academia presence. I didn't take a lot of pics, since I was one of a few ppl there. However, they lean into the Lion theme beautifully. This place is manly, while have a soft essence... who doesn't love chandeliers. On to the offerings, it's a small menu, that appears to be seasonal... small menus means you're able to perfect things ;) My husband and I ordered a snack plate, with 'Spressy and Double Entendre on the side. Snack plate was served in gold dish: roasted salted cashews, toasted buffalo ranch corn, salted caramel chocolate covered popcorn. An elegant nod to beer nuts. I was a stereotypical millennial and ordered a 'Spressy: vanilla vodka, coffee, cacao, tonka; a little morning pick me up, but at night. Fantastic pull, smooth. My husband ordered Double Entendre: bourbon, pistachio, cacao; pistachio-y old fashioned. Bourbon is NOT my drink of choice, but I can tell you the prep showed great attention to detail; beautifully crafted clean, square shaved side, ice cube to perfectly chill the drink. As stated, this place is beautifully chic, with elevated drinks. The demasque wallpaper and gold accents are definitely my vibe. I look forward to returning and trying their coffee offerings.

That being said, upon opening the door we were told we couldn't come in without masks. Mine was in my pocket, no problem. I haven't left my home (in Tennessee) often enough since the beginning of the virus for it to become habit to automatically put on a mask when I get out of my vehicle. But 9/10 times I remember before entering a public place. The male bartender just seemed rude in the way he told us to put one one. I had read the raving reviews, and being a Yelp Elite myself I know I can and do trust their reviews above others. So....I was really looking forward to trying something new and enjoy watching a bartender do their thing. The bartender pointed to two framed menus on top of a cooler containing seltzer's and canned drinks, and some glass bottles of pre-made cocktails, I think. I would've appreciated the bartender ask me what I liked, and help me decide, but it was easier for him to point to the sign. Customer service absolutely sucked hippo balls. I asked if I could just order a Knob Creek and Coke in a short glass, and a Blanton's for my hubs. Sure!! What I got was a shot of each in a to-go plastic condiment container with a lid, and two big paper go cups (like Burger King) of ice, and a can of Coke, which I told him never mind I had a soda in the truck. We also got two bags of Cheeto's, to make the sale legal. So....we poured our bourbons over the ice in the paper cups. I drank a few sips of mine, yum, even in paper. My husband was just about to take a sip and noticed something stuck in his ice that looked just like a maggot. He walked back across the street and told/showed the bartender, who vehemently denied it came from the ice because it was a brand new bag. Then I noticed 3 of the maggot looking things in my ice, so I went back in and showed my husband and then the bartender. He told my husband it was probably from the citrus he was cutting on a board near the ice bin. They were frozen INSIDE the ice cubes. I'm upset with myself that I didn't take a picture of it, it was gross. I'm upset that a bartender would try to make it seem like it was nothing. After seeing it all in my ice my husband just asked for our money back, and the bartender said, "But I've already poured another." Ummm, sorry, but no thank you. He did give the refund, but I most assuredly won't give them a second chance when I visit Columbus.

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

I never leave Alibi disappointed. They always have such a creative menu with something for…read moreeveryone. It always amazes me how quickly they crank out such creative drinks.
