This place was really, really good. Came in on a Wednesday at 5pm and had no issue bellying up to the bar. Our server was outstanding! Helped us with the menu, very friendly, very attentive. Read about the fries on Yelp, so we started with them. There is a reason people rave about them- so good! Then had an octopus and sausage skewer. Both were charred and outstanding, though not a lot of food (then again, it was only $8). Also got the cucumber salad which was tasty. My daughter got some beefy noodle thing that was equally good, and she only at half. Still, had to try the dumplings after all the pimping they were getting. Very pleased with the selection. Got half pork and half sweet potatoes. The garlic sauce they were in just made them melt in your mouth. Had an interesting version of an old fashioned to start. It was good, but gone in about 2 sips. Regardless, excellent service, excellent food. Would not hesitate to return.

Cobra was busy on a Saturday evening but still had room for us by a standing table, which was perfectly fine while we enjoyed our drinks! By the time we ordered food it was about a 35-min wait, and we ended up snagging a sit down table which was great. The noodles were awesome, the cocktails were very fresh, and the ambiance was busy but not overwhelming. Definitely recommend checking it out, just be aware seating is first come first served.

Cobra is on of my favorite date night spots! The food is delicious and reliable and the atmosphere is so chill! I don't love that you have to order at the bar- I'd definitely order more drinks if it was a table service situation!

Can I say enough good things about Cobra? I went twice in the same week lol, it's simply delicious. Of course I went for happy hour. Great deals and a nice variety of dishes on the menu. Then I came back for dinner with a friend and we got some pasta and a few other dishes. Chatted the night away on the patio with different cocktails...my dream date lol.

This gastropub is a real gem. There are a lot of Asian fusion food items and Asian-themed drinks. Order your food and drinks at the bar as there is no table service.

Met up with friends here specifically for happy hour on a Thursday. It's walk-in only and runs from 4 to 6 PM, which worked out perfectly for our group. You get seated first, then order at the bar. We tried the Yuzu Spritz ($7) with yuzu, prosecco, and soda. Super light and refreshing, liked it enough to get a second round. The Koji Popcorn Chicken ($8) was a total hit: juicy, crispy, and full of flavor with the lemon shiso aioli. We also grabbed the Seasoned Fries ($4), which came with the same aioli and were perfect for sharing. The vibes were great, with a fun, laid-back energy and a stylish space. They have their own parking lot and there was also plenty of street parking available. Would definitely come back, especially for happy hour again.

I had heard a lot of great things about Cobra and when I made a visit back to Ohio I knew we needed to go. When you walk in you're greeting with menus and seating is first come first served. A generous amount of seating both indoors and on their patio. It was pretty crowded when we got there around 8pm on Friday but easily found seating. Food overall is good. I really enjoyed the vibe and ambiance of the interior. The food was Asian fusion. We got fries to share and the Dan Dan noodles and the chicken sandwich. Originally wanted the bulgogi chop cheese but it was all sold out. I was a little surprised with the chicken sandwich. It was just a touch too sweet for me but ultimately made sense because it was a honey soy garlic dip. Love the Photo Booth inside and generous amount of parking that I would recommend a visit.

Awesome place! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items. Great and friendly service. Nice set up and cool vibes! Went on a Saturday about 430pm and were able to easily find a seat By the time we left... this place was hopping! I love that they are open late too with food available late. Check them out!

WOW just WOW. I I was so impressed by the food at Cobra when I went with some friends this past week. Cobra is the up-and-coming new bar/restaurant that you have to check out. I had been there once prior for just drinks and was amazed, but the food blew me away. For drinks, my favorite has been the XXX Sour and for $10 it is a steal. The drink has Sky Vodka, Passionfruit, Pandan, Lemon, Grapefruit, and Prosecco Rosè. It's so good and is secretly strong. For food, I got the Dan Dan Noodles with Malfadini, Dan Dan Sauce, Pork Ragu, Crushed Peanuts and Scallions. It was super good with a kick of spice. It was fantastic and I can't wait to try more dishes. I also tried the Ezzo Pizza Dumplings which were unique and tasty. Can't wait to bring my family here to try more dishes.

I love the idea of an Asian infused burger and drinks. So many new flavors to the American cuisine. Nestled in Columbus' Brewery District, this place is a great find. Seating is first come first serve which worried me but we found a table in the bar area right away. You order by the cash register so no tables turn over quickly. Our entire table ordered burgers which were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Shanghai Noon burger had some heat but not too hot to make you sweat. I loved it. We shared some seasoned fries at our table and was enough food for 3 people. Great selection of cocktails for every pallet. Tried both Tequila specialty drinks and recommend both of them. Great pairing with the burger. Well worth a try if in Columbus.

Service was okay on our latest trip. The food too a really long time and didn't come out even close together. Servers also came by multiple times and tried to take cups and plates that had drinks and food in/on them

Finally checked out cobra after hearing a lot about it. I'd give it a 4.5 stars normally but bumping it up for service. Everyone who talked to us (and we were sitting at the bar, so basically everyone was looking out for us) was so friendly and helpful, giving me ideas on what to eat because I'm gluten intolerant and vegetarian. The drinks were good, lots to choose from, including cocktails and beers on tap. I got a mezcal drink which was very refreshing. For dinner I got the dan dan noodles- but gluten free and vegetarian. It was super savory and delicious, enough to take home. Cute place, and very busy, but I could come back.

Wow!! A happy surprise that was right by the hotel we stayed at. Ambiance was so moody with dark decor and red lit. Food was really good! They have quintessential bar food but also Asian dishes that were absolute fire. We tried the orange ribs and the short rib from the yakitori grill. We went back later in the evening after some drinks and got some AMAZING burgers with GF buns and side of fries w/ aioli. The shot combos were really nice. Look under the boilermakers menu! My husband had the whiskey/broth combo and I had the tequila/lemon seltzer. Absolute fire starter. Really creative dishes and drinks and so yum!

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

I'm sure some of them are batched, but they don't taste like they are. Service was excellent, as always. Endlessly knowledgeable. Small place, but never feels crowded even when full.

That being said, upon opening the door we were told we couldn't come in without masks. Mine was in my pocket, no problem. I haven't left my home (in Tennessee) often enough since the beginning of the virus for it to become habit to automatically put on a mask when I get out of my vehicle. But 9/10 times I remember before entering a public place. The male bartender just seemed rude in the way he told us to put one one. I had read the raving reviews, and being a Yelp Elite myself I know I can and do trust their reviews above others. So....I was really looking forward to trying something new and enjoy watching a bartender do their thing. The bartender pointed to two framed menus on top of a cooler containing seltzer's and canned drinks, and some glass bottles of pre-made cocktails, I think. I would've appreciated the bartender ask me what I liked, and help me decide, but it was easier for him to point to the sign. Customer service absolutely sucked hippo balls. I asked if I could just order a Knob Creek and Coke in a short glass, and a Blanton's for my hubs. Sure!! What I got was a shot of each in a to-go plastic condiment container with a lid, and two big paper go cups (like Burger King) of ice, and a can of Coke, which I told him never mind I had a soda in the truck. We also got two bags of Cheeto's, to make the sale legal. So....we poured our bourbons over the ice in the paper cups. I drank a few sips of mine, yum, even in paper. My husband was just about to take a sip and noticed something stuck in his ice that looked just like a maggot. He walked back across the street and told/showed the bartender, who vehemently denied it came from the ice because it was a brand new bag. Then I noticed 3 of the maggot looking things in my ice, so I went back in and showed my husband and then the bartender. He told my husband it was probably from the citrus he was cutting on a board near the ice bin. They were frozen INSIDE the ice cubes. I'm upset with myself that I didn't take a picture of it, it was gross. I'm upset that a bartender would try to make it seem like it was nothing. After seeing it all in my ice my husband just asked for our money back, and the bartender said, "But I've already poured another." Ummm, sorry, but no thank you. He did give the refund, but I most assuredly won't give them a second chance when I visit Columbus.
