I contracted them to repave a driveway, backyard and side walk of a rental property I own. If they didn't already have my substantial deposit, I would have backed out after they delayed my start date three weeks past due. Granted some of the delay was due to poor weather, but my property agent couldn't even get a call back after repeated attempts to speak with the owner. When she did, he literally yelled for inquiring when the contractors would start work. Additionally they were sloppy in their handwork covering a DEP water main opening with cement which would prevent any city workers from accessing it if necessary in the future. When they claimed the job was completed, they left the yard a mess with multiple pieces of plywood and tarp balled up in the yard. What professional company leaves their debris in the clients yard especially when the contract expressly says they will clean up all materials and trash at the work site upon completion. Do not go with this company unless you are looking to have your project take 2-3x as long as you initially expect and a sloppy job on top of that.

Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in.
