Not only did we get a comfortable feeling we were shown a virtual picture of what our house with new siding would look like. The price for doing the work was comparable to other quotes we had gotten and Perry and indeed everyone was very knowledgeable about the siding, Hardie plank, we wanted installed. The crew couldn't have been nicer. The site manager was there to answer any questions. They were very respectful of our needs and worked very hard to get the job done before the holidays. As I was home most days, I saw the high quality of craftsmanship the workmen put into the job. We went with giant siding and windows To replace the old siding and four windows on the house that my family purchased in 2016. Perry the owner came by to meet with us and was very friendly. He explained the different siding options to us. We explained that we had other things to do at the house like the electric panel on the side of the house after the siding was done so he would have to come back to finish where the new panel would go. Perry said that would not be a problem and we would just have to call the office to make an appointment. We decided to have them do the job and the work started about three weeks later. Everything went great and the job was done fast and efficiently. Then the problems started after calling multiple times and even speaking to Perry on two occasions I'm still not able to get him to finish the Electrical panel. Also one place one the siding came loose in a storm I texted him pictures to no avail. I contracted with Giant for a siding, window and door job that all told was over $25k. Based on the reviews here and on Google, I expected a smooth experience. There were some high points, the work done was mostly of high quality and the materials were what I had ordered. But the low points were so dramatic and hard to deal with I could never recommend Giant to anyone. Perry, the owner seems very personable and responsible when selling and quoting your job. You'll soon learn his communication sucks. He does not do what he says he will do and doesn't treat customers with respect during the job. After the first day of the job, I never saw Perry again. They started my job by showing up at my house unannounced. We still had some final details and negotiations to work through, but his workers already began ripping apart my old siding. Another day, on Memorial Day weekend, a Saturday, one of the workers arrived at 8am again without an appointment to fix some issue with my door. Again, why no call or text to set up an appointment? We requested to use the dumpster for some personal items, which Perry had no problem with. However, as soon as the job was done, and before we could put anything in it, the dumpster was taken away, without notice. His workers also left the job unfinished and never came back. I had to initiate the communication and text Perry to let him know the job was not finished and when they were coming back, only to find out that my siding was "back-ordered." This was one of many delays from Perry and his office. Lots of excuses and blaming his suppliers for items he ordered that weren't available. Likely because he didn't order them in time, and didn't order enough of my siding. Giant put my old hardware on my new doors, but unfortunately one of the sets would not fit. I had to leave my door unlocked for a month because of this. All of this grief, and then the final bill was almost $1000 higher than the contracted price. In my opinion this was a horrible experience, and I hope this message gets out to suspecting customers. read more

My windows were replaced by Perry who is indeed charming to say the least. However the handles of my windows have broken. His office staff told me to contact the company directly and I have not heard back from the window manufacturer. I spoke to Perry and was willing to pay for repairs but his office person Laurie will not shcedule him to come to my house. If you charge so much you should be available to the customer for any servicing issues and be more reachable. It is really bad. Don't ever use them if you can help it. They will do the job and never help out with any problems. read more

I am a neighbor of people getting work done by Giant siding and Window. I am not commenting on their work since that would be inappropriate as I am not the one who hired them. I am commenting on the outrageous unprofessional behavior I have been experiencing in the last couple of weeks. They are extremely rude storing their tools on my driveway, using my property and continuously carrying large pieces of wood in between my cars that are parked in my driveway. When I have asked them to stop or be more careful, they pretend they don't speak English. They also have there music blasting all day. If you are looking for professional and simply nice people to work on your house, don't hire this company. read more

In 2012 Giant installed windows, a door and roof shingles at my home. Starting in 2016 whenever there are strong wind and heavy rains, roof shingles and even a roof ridge ventilator have literally gone flying off. When I first reported the problem to Giant I was told to pay a $375.00 fee for inspection of which I refused. Since then I have had to replace shingles and a ridge ventilator. Last year I had the entire roof inspected by a roofing contractor and well, I can expect more shingles too continue to fly. read more

If you are looking to get your siding done on your house these guys are great. The owner is local and takes a lot of pride in his family owned business. The price was reasonable. He worked with us on the price and he also has financing through Wells Fargo so you can pay it off in a years time. The quality of the work was exceptional. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our house by our neighbors and did not get one complaint about them while they were working (we live in a development with a lot of houses in our proximity). Here are some other highlights: -returned calls ASAP -workers were respectful of property (cleaned up and packed up each night) -high quality materials -finished on time even with delay in delivery of materials -owner came by daily to check on progress and to answer any questions or concerns -foreman was intuitive when it came to the details that we may not have thought of, so there were improvements along the way that made a big difference read more

Very pleased with Perry and his guys. They resided our home and put on new gutters. The estimate was very competitive, and they honored it. The guys were polite, on time, hard working, and cleaned up before they left each day. It took less than the estimated time to complete. Our house looks so beautiful since Giant Siding and windows did their magic. The foreman suggested keeping the original shutters which were original, decorative and in good condition. This causes the house to look unique. We also had front stairs and walkway replaced by Giant which was the finishing touch. The house looks new.
