Last Wednesday, 11/4 - I looked on Yelp for a nearby nail salon and saw that this place had more stars than the one I usually go to in Vista. So I called and asked how much for their mani & pedi which the price was very reasonable for me. Told me to come before 4pm which I did. Got to the place & was able to pick a color. They had a mother & daughter client so not too busy. They prepped one of the massage chairs for me and I sat there for a while with the massager on. I like the way the warmth of the water as most places makes it too hot. This was perfection! It took longer than 4pm for one of them to see which she apologized. (I was getting a little impatient but realized that they were the only 2 workers). Overall, Lien was very thorough with both pedicure and manicure. She did ask me if I wanted the callus treatment which I declined. That's the other thing I liked about it was that she didn't pressure for me to get more than what I really want. Most places will keep showing their laminated price list repeatedly as if you'll change your mind. Since it was not busy, Lien took her time to do the service & even triple coated the nail polish which that's another thing I liked about the salon. Cam was the other lady which gave a great customer service too. She offered chocolate candies which was a nice treat at the end. When you pay, they do take cards but there's a $1.00 surcharge fee so have cash handy. With the COVID, everything has gone up including in the nail business. Go check them out! I'm a simple person so I just go for regular manicure and pedicure so call them first to find out what's their price list. read more

Im new to this salon but not the nail techs! I love coming here to get my nails done. It's always a great experience, especially with Jade! jade is the best! anything you ask for she can do it and she is so kind. All of nurses come to get their nails done because we aren't allowed acrylics but she does an amazing job at dip nails, not too thick and they last! I have been coming here for over 4 years and I will never go anywhere else! The service is exemplary and so is the hospitality. Hanna is who I usually ask for because I think she does an amazing job, but over the past 4 years every person who works there has done my nails at some point and I have always been highly satisfied with their work! They are very friendly and kind people with sweet personalities. The prices are very fair as well, especially for what you get! I have gotten countless manicures, pedicures, facials, and waxes done and always leave very satisfied and happy. My boss recommended me to come here because she said the ladies here are super sweet and does a really great job and she was definitely right! I have gone here more than 3 times by now and I have always come out of the salon very satisfied with my pedicure. I don't know about you guys, but if you want a good foot massage while getting a pedicure, definitely go here! Prices for pedicure ranges from $25-50 depending with what type of pedicure you want. Of course more price for the add on services. They also accept card but keep in mind they will charge $1 extra for using card. The ladies here always made sure that my nails were always taken care of and always have the best attitude. Definitely try it out! read more

10/10 definitely recommend you give it a try! Relaxing ambiance. This salon caught my eye as I was leaving the eyebrow threading salon next door. I walked in & was greeted as if I were already a regular there. No wait time, straight to the chair. I was handed the "samples" with the polish colors. Not only did they have blue (the color I had in mind) but they had at least 10 different shades of blue to select from! Prices are reasonable, more economical than other places in the area I've been to. My nail technician Amy always takes her time. It was a nice change from the usual large, loud and busy salons. The a small fountain and chandelier gives the entire place a unique boutique feel. The equipment used were clean and organized. I have made it my regular salon. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST nail salon I have ever been to! I had to go back twice because my nails fell off!! (Acrylic) The first time I went back she acted annoyed and my index finger was square and did not match the others!! I did not get a manicure as far as massaging my hands andtrimming my cuticles! I came here as I was in the area and wanted to try a new spot. The job itself was okay, but the service towards the end from one of the ladies doing my nails was rushed. She even forgot the massage part which by then I had been there so long I had to go. My daughters manicure was even worse as it was not neat and the polish was runny. The pricing is alright but for the quality of work I would not come here again. read more

She took time to do my nail and make sure that I was happy with it. I will return here agin if I am town. Be very clear with what you are asking for. I took my mom in for a treat and asked for the basic pedicure for both of us, they tried to up sell a bunch of stuff which I declined. Thankfully the lady who worked on my mom spent 3x as long on her and did a good job. However, The women who I had was done in 10 minutes, it felt super rushed as she was trying to get to the next customer to give her a manicure. When I went up to pay the bill it was (without tip) $75?? The women who rushed through my pedi said We had both got the "deluxe" which I never asked for. And based on the whole 10min she worked on me, I am doubtful I even received it. I thought I was clear with what we were wanting, but with the communication breakdown I guess not clear enough. In the future I would ask to pay before they start so I know what I'm getting. However I doubt I'll ever be returning here. read more

My fiancé paid for a gel mani and regular polish pedi as a nice Mother's Day treat. Here they are less than 24 hours later. I noticed the thumb nail looked a little bumpy before I left but it was the man's second time fixing it and I was in a hurry so I didn't pay attention much. But the fact that the man doing my nails saw all this and still had me pay full price. He also was supposed to do a jelly spa pedicure but it was more of a color change with the jelly in the water for a 5-10 min soak. Never been so disappointed in this place. $80 for this. read more

Wanted to try a new nail place other than the two I normally go to. That was a mistake. Spa pedicure took SO long. I was there for over an hour. Ladies were nice but it was very uncomfortable with them looking and pointing at my feet. The lady doing my feet kept my feet in very uncomfortable positions. And I was just getting tired and was so ready for it to be over. $58 for gel spa pedicure. Absolutely not worth the price I paid. Massage was quick and weak. It was just an experience not worth going back for. And wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

So happy for Hannah! I met Hannah 3 years ago at the nail salon I used to go to. The place was nice but the prices and customer service were horrible. The only reason I kept going was because Hannah was so awesome. She is seriously the sweetest lady every and same adorable! I was devastated when I went to make an appointment with her and they told me that she no longer worked there! Losing a good nail lady is like dating someone and then they go M.I.A! lol So fast forward almost a year and half later and Im browsing yelp again for a local nail salon and guess who I find!?!?! I went in today with no appointment and was pleasantly surprised there was no wait. They encourage their customers to pay in cash....just as a heads up. I just needed a basic manicure which is 10 dollars. A pedicure is 16 dollars. It's a basic place (which I like) and it doesn't smell of chemicals or anything (another plus). My technician was Tiffany. She was nice, even tested out the nail colors I picked on her own nails before putting it on mine. It was a very quick manicure. I needed my nailed shaped really well. The filing part of the manicure was done in two blinks of an eye. I noticed after the manicure that at least one nail was a bit rough around the edges. The hand/forearm massage was rushed as well. Now, as for the actual polish...I'm no expert. I don't get manicures all that often but it looks a bit sloppy. I don't know if it was the polish or the technician. The nail color isn't smooth, goes past my cuticles, and some of the top coat got on my skin. Originally, I was planning on giving two stars but.... After leaving the business, I smudged my nails 2 blocks away. I went back, Hannah fixed it but once again, the polish isn't smooth. There are other places to try in San Marcos. Doubtful I'll return. read more

Their prices are great for gel manicures and pedicures! Have to admit I was skeptical when I first walked in... the salon was small and it was so hot inside it was almost unbearable, but I really needed my nails done so I stuck it out. I'm glad I did because the ladies did such a beautiful job with both my gel mani and my pedi (and I'm really picky). It's been almost 2 weeks and still going strong. I took off 1 star because the spa chair was broken and they didn't have a/c. Overall the experience could've been more comfortable, but the service and quality of work was good so that kinda makes up for it. read more

Coming from Palm Springs, I had to come to San Marcos for a business trip. My operations manager broke her nail so we looked on YELP and found Nails For You. We were greeted by Hannah, the owner. She was very sweet. My manager got a fill and Mindy took care of it. She was very personable, took her time, and was very detailed and very experienced with 15 years. I have had dip on for up to 5 weeks without these same problems. $6 was not enough to incentivize me to give them another shot

Last Saturday, while driving through San Marcos, I noticed a small nail and spa shop called Emily's Nail & Spa--coincidentally, Emily is my granddaughter's name. I took it as a sign and decided to stop in and give it a try. Saturday afternoons can be hectic in the manicure and pedicure business, so I wasn't sure what my chances were. The chairs were full, but I was pleasantly told the wait would only be about 15 minutes. I had barely sat down when I was escorted to one of their new, comfortable vibrating chairs and invited to soak my feet in a perfectly warm, whirlpool bath. The shop isn't large, but it is modern, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. My hostess, Ellie, soon began what turned out to be the most enjoyable and comforting pedicure my tired size 14 1/2 EEE feet have ever experienced. I relaxed through the massage and pampering, nearly falling asleep from the sheer comfort of the treatment. Next came my manicure, which was equally impressive--without question, the best I have ever had. During my visit, I enjoyed a refreshing conversation with Ellie. I went in to get a simple half moon French manicure and showed 'Hannah' or Han Thi Nyugen exactly what I wanted. She began to do my nails, cutting my skin along the way, then when done with one hand she asked me how it looked. It looked terrible, the half moon wasn't even close to a half moon, she wasn't even using a proper brush to shape it it was much too thick and worn. Also, she pretty much missed every single corner of my nails. I politely asked if she could clean up the mistakes and she tried but missed again, I showed her again, and finally one more time. It still looked horrible and I didn't know what to say to her. She said it was beautiful and had her co-worker come over and check them and before she hardly even glanced at them she's like 'very beautiful.' She grabbed my hand and got polish from her gloves all over my skin and I told her she was doing this but she ignored me. 'Hannah' could still tell I was unhappy with the shitty manicure and she said she would take it off and just forget it. She said I was wasting her time, was too picky and she had another appointment to get to (I had only been there ten minutes cuz she rushed the whole appointment, that I had called and made). I didn't know what to do because she started rubbing gel nail polish all over my skin with cotton balls and told me the reason the half moons didn't look good was because my fingers are crooked? I had had it at that point and let her know that my 'crooked fingers' didn't change the fact that she's awful at her job and I could have done a better job myself at home for free. So I decided to go to fashion nails and they fixed her disgrace of a manicure for a great price and used the proper tools. She also told me three different prices for my nails even though I showed her exactly what I wanted from the beginning and specified I wanted gel. If you want your nails to look jacked up and listen to ladies yelling at each other in some language and completely disregard you as a customer, this is the spot! read more

I couldn't tell you how hard to find a good place to get your nails done but this place is a gem! They immediately helped me and were so friendly. I'm pretty meticulous about my nails and I like them to look a certain way. My big thing is making sure the nail is filed EVENLY, the young lady who did mine was fabulous. I kept a close eye like always, but she did a phenomenal job and I didn't even have to ask her to fix anything. The coat was put on evenly, the file was clean and even, and the outcome was better than what I had expected! No bubbles, no streaks, or globs!!! I'm so sad I didn't find this place earlier because it would've saved me from previous horror stories at terrible salons. this is my only go to nail salon for all my services. Jade and Kevin are amazing artists, not just nails techs. I can go in and ask for anything, as well as not even have an idea of what I want, but they will do something beautiful that I love every time! their staff are always kind and eager to provide exceptional service. I have been goin to Nail 4 U for 2 years now. I have sensitive nails and very where I get my acrylics done I have some sort of allergic reaction. It here. Hanna always does a great job with my nails!! They always turn out looking great and she always gives me some sort of deal in them. I started goin here when I lived in SM.
