I stopped by this place since it was 4 mins from my house and made an appointment to see Jade after reading reviews. Once I got to the shop she informed me she already had an appointment for the time slot I was given and that her husband Kevin who is also good could do my nails. I had read his reviews as well and they were good so I didn't mind. It's been 7 days and I already have lifting, I noticed it 3 days ago, I had gel over the nail on my finger, some of my nail is not covered by the acrylic and I have done quite a bit of cleaning up. Kevin is super kind but the work was not worth $70. Pedi was ok but gel color has started lifting. Pinky hand nail also came all the way off, it's been a week and I do no heavy labor. Last Wednesday, 11/4 - I looked on Yelp for a nearby nail salon and saw that this place had more stars than the one I usually go to in Vista. So I called and asked how much for their mani & pedi which the price was very reasonable for me. Told me to come before 4pm which I did. Got to the place & was able to pick a color. They had a mother & daughter client so not too busy. They prepped one of the massage chairs for me and I sat there for a while with the massager on. I like the way the warmth of the water as most places makes it too hot. This was perfection! It took longer than 4pm for one of them to see which she apologized. (I was getting a little impatient but realized that they were the only 2 workers). Overall, Lien was very thorough with both pedicure and manicure. She did ask me if I wanted the callus treatment which I declined. That's the other thing I liked about it was that she didn't pressure for me to get more than what I really want. Most places will keep showing their laminated price list repeatedly as if you'll change your mind. Since it was not busy, Lien took her time to do the service & even triple coated the nail polish which that's another thing I liked about the salon. Cam was the other lady which gave a great customer service too. She offered chocolate candies which was a nice treat at the end. When you pay, they do take cards but there's a $1.00 surcharge fee so have cash handy. With the COVID, everything has gone up including in the nail business. Go check them out! I'm a simple person so I just go for regular manicure and pedicure so call them first to find out what's their price list. read more

I have gone here more than 3 times by now and I have always come out of the salon very satisfied with my pedicure. I don't know about you guys, but if you want a good foot massage while getting a pedicure, definitely go here! Prices for pedicure ranges from $25-50 depending with what type of pedicure you want. I walked in & was greeted as if I were already a regular there. No wait time, straight to the chair. I was handed the "samples" with the polish colors. Not only did they have blue (the color I had in mind) but they had at least 10 different shades of blue to select from! Prices are reasonable, more economical than other places in the area I've been to. My nail technician Amy always takes her time. It was a nice change from the usual large, loud and busy salons. The a small fountain and chandelier gives the entire place a unique boutique feel. The equipment used were clean and organized. I have made it my regular salon. Be very clear with what you are asking for. I took my mom in for a treat and asked for the basic pedicure for both of us, they tried to up sell a bunch of stuff which I declined. Thankfully the lady who worked on my mom spent 3x as long on her and did a good job. However, The women who I had was done in 10 minutes, it felt super rushed as she was trying to get to the next customer to give her a manicure. When I went up to pay the bill it was (without tip) $75?? The women who rushed through my pedi said We had both got the "deluxe" which I never asked for. And based on the whole 10min she worked on me, I am doubtful I even received it. I thought I was clear with what we were wanting, but with the communication breakdown I guess not clear enough. I noticed the thumb nail looked a little bumpy before I left but it was the man's second time fixing it and I was in a hurry so I didn't pay attention much. But the fact that the man doing my nails saw all this and still had me pay full price. Wanted to try a new nail place other than the two I normally go to. That was a mistake. Spa pedicure took SO long. I was there for over an hour. Ladies were nice but it was very uncomfortable with them looking and pointing at my feet. The lady doing my feet kept my feet in very uncomfortable positions. The only reason I kept going was because Hannah was so awesome. She is seriously the sweetest lady every and same adorable! I went in today with no appointment and was pleasantly surprised there was no wait. They encourage their customers to pay in cash....just as a heads up. I just needed a basic manicure which is 10 dollars. A pedicure is 16 dollars. It's a basic place (which I like) and it doesn't smell of chemicals or anything (another plus). My technician was Tiffany. She was nice, even tested out the nail colors I picked on her own nails before putting it on mine. It was a very quick manicure. I needed my nailed shaped really well. The filing part of the manicure was done in two blinks of an eye. I noticed after the manicure that at least one nail was a bit rough around the edges. The hand/forearm massage was rushed as well. Now, as for the actual polish...I'm no expert. I don't get manicures all that often but it looks a bit sloppy. I don't know if it was the polish or the technician. The nail color isn't smooth, goes past my cuticles, and some of the top coat got on my skin. Originally, I was planning on giving two stars but.... After leaving the business, I smudged my nails 2 blocks away. I went back, Hannah fixed it but once again, the polish isn't smooth. There are other places to try in San Marcos. Their prices are great for gel manicures and pedicures! Have to admit I was skeptical when I first walked in... the salon was small and it was so hot inside it was almost unbearable, but I really needed my nails done so I stuck it out. I'm glad I did because the ladies did such a beautiful job with both my gel mani and my pedi (and I'm really picky). It's been almost 2 weeks and still going strong. I took off 1 star because the spa chair was broken and they didn't have a/c. Overall the experience could've been more comfortable, but the service and quality of work was good so that kinda makes up for it. read more
