I have tried a few things on there menu, all look so good tho. I really like the breakfast burrito, with bacon. IT WAS SOOO GOOD! It hast to be one of my Fav breakfast Burrito since last time I can remember. The proportions were all perfect, egg, cheese, bacon, and maybe a little more spice if you are into that, I like it either way... I might add avocado if they could, sure small fee but thats a given and have you seen the prices of food these days.. lol Service , Hands down all the girls I talked to while we got breakfast, were super friendly, busy but were nice when i asked for a few other things, and then coming to get my order... ** This Business is more of point of sale or window order I guess? , and pick up, not waited on. And nothing wrong with that, Just saw one negitive Review out of sooo many. So take it as you will, they clean off things when they get around to it, Its a Pastry shop, tucked away in Tuolumne County. Up past the turn off to the Black Oak Casino , in the mountains, open up most seasons if not all just changed hours...** Ambiance, well. Its a little wooden shack , wood work is beautiful inside. I think it has 2 or 3 tables inside, and a bunch outside . No dogs / pets inside but I saw a dog or two in the patio area outside... And if any of the reviews on Yelp have helped, tell them Yelp sent you, I am sure they will appreciate it..

The morning offerings of muffins, croissants, scones, and cinnamon rolls has failed me. I will say the sandwiches are decent, but nothing to write home to. The smoothies used to epic, but they now fall flat. I'm think they are not using all the fruit as the old owners did. As for the staff....a little rude and it seemed like no one wanted to wipe the tables down. It's a cute place, but if I had a choice I would skip it and seek life elsewhere for some morning substance.

They have several items on their menu, such as sandwiches, burgers, salads, salmon, and steaks. They run specials on a given day. I seen on Saturday, a seafood boil bag for $56 I believe. It is good for two people. I seen several people order that and enjoy it. They also have a rib special on Fridays for $14 which is a great deal as well. My pricing could be a dollar or two off.... I ended up ordering a Diablo burger with a side salad. It had a sweet and a touch of spicy sauce in it with pepper jack in a soft bun. I really enjoyed it. I tried some of the fries and they were nice and crispy. Our server was very helpful and pleasant with our table. She would come around and refill our waters as needed. They automatically add gratuity to a table of eight and more of 20%. Overall, we had a good experience.

Menu is solid, especially their breakfast offerings. Major negative is that they don't have peanut butter available for pancakes/waffles. We usually get great service and prices are reasonable. NARRATIVE: I arrived just after 7:00 am of a Wednesday and found the place open and to myself. After checking out their extensive wall menu, I ordered a plain Bagel with Lox, an Asai bowl and a Sea Salt Caramel iced coffee to go. Like I mentioned above, they have an extensive menu which really impressed me. I was also impressed by their super large espresso machine. My order took about ten minutes to prepare and I headed off with my bag and drink towards home. At the house and before tearing into my food, my camera ate first. My Bagel with Lox was dynamite. Super thick cut of fresh salmon with cream cheese, capers, onion and cucumbers gave the sandwich a nice crunch. My Sea Salt Caramel coffee was great and their Asai bowls are impressive. SCENE: Located at the corner of W. 11th Street and East Street, Isabel's Cafe now occupies the old Sandwich Spot location. RECOMMENDATION(S): Awesome food! Highly recommended. The only negative I had was, unlike Sandwich Spot where you could watch your sandwich being made, Isabel's doesn't have that option. Everything is prepared in the back, away from the customers.

It definitely did not disappoint. It's a cute little local bistro. Super cozy and warm with a super friendly staff! The food is good and the coffee drinks are delicious!! The espresso machine was out, which wasn't a huge deal since drip coffee was available, but the coffee itself was honestly pretty bad. It also didn't help that we were told the flavored syrup drinks were basically the same as their espresso specialty drinks, but it tasted like water down drip coffee. I ordered the French toast plate and my partner got the biscuits and gravy. The bacon seemed undercooked, the pancakes were dry, the biscuits and gravy were burnt, and the gravy itself was runny. Overall, for a meal that ended up being over $50 with tip, we were really disappointed with the quality.
