It's a chill casual local hangout and not fancy but just what you want for a relaxing morning. There's papers you can read and you're able to sit outside if you'd like. The owner is friendly and when he's there, he welcomes you. The egg wraps are simple yet delicious and there's options for tea and smoothies if coffee isn't your favorite. Craving dessert after lunch, my husband and I decided to try Daylight Donuts after driving past it countless times. A huge donut fan, I generally like to try at least one yeast donut and one cake donut when discovering a new donut shop. I opted for the chocolate frosted donut (yeast) and sour cream donut (cake). Both were absolutely delicious. While certainly sweet, both didn't feel super heavy in the way that sometimes a heavily glazed and overly saccharine cakey donut can taste. I slightly preferred the sour cream donut, which I can now understand why is one of their bestsellers. Once I got to the car, I realized that the friendly lady at the shop had threw in an extra chocolate cake donut, either by accident or intentionally. It was delicious too. This cute little donut shop was a new spot we found and we were so glad we did! They have a drive-thru window and we got an assortment of one dozen donuts. My favorite were the maple glazed, blueberry glazed, and tail light donuts. Next time I am definitely going to go inside and see what other cool donut flavors they have! I wish I could give above 5 stars on this review. Outstanding customer service the minute we walked into the shop! Cute and comfortable inside. All kinds of flavoring for coffees but I can't speak to that, I went in for donuts and that's what I got. I ordered half dozen donuts, as I completed picking my 6 donuts, I'm assuming it's the owner, tells the person I'm giving my order to, to double my order and only charge be for my original order. Now the task of picking out 6 more donuts, not an easy task with them all looking so yummy! The owner struck up a conversation and was all around a friendly person! Difficult parking, drive thru takes their entire driveway, so if you get stuck behind a few large orders, you can't get out to go in. I'm not sure how I even stumbled to this place but I'm thankful. These are actually really great donuts and too bad I didn't take a picture of the glazed one because I ate it so fast . If I'm ever around that part of town I will be sure to swing by again. I also had an ice passion tea and it was the bomb.com totally recommend that to anyone who's a tea drinker like myself. Where do I begin... we were in town for a fitness show and were so excited to get donuts after the show. We looked at various locations and decided, based on reviews, to stop here. Maybe it was an "off day" for them... so let me explain. The location is easy to get too and parking was good. There is plenty of seating. Now for the donuts... the selection was small. There were about 7 or 8 different donuts, then bagels and muffins. We ordered 6 donuts and a large cinnamon roll. The donuts are nothing special and no better than any other large chain donut shop (Dunkin Donuts). The texture and taste is standard, mass produced, donut. We ordered all the different types that had cream filling or cream on top - the headlight, strawberry headlight, and jelly filled glazed. By the way, the jelly filled has ZERO jelly in it. The machine must have run out of jelly and they forgot to fill it and that's the one we got. Nothing we tried really impressed us especially having tried other locally made donut places in other towns we have visited for fitness shows. They sell other food like breakfast sandwiches, but never tried them - stuck on the glazed or smoke donut. Service is totally insane. The girls are amazing. I stopped this morning and there were two women working the older one waited on me and right from the beginning her attitude was not good and after I got to work I realized she didn't get my drink order correct. First I asked for earl grey tea she gave me regular black tea, she did put my Splenda in I also asked for caramel syrup which she said she put in, I didn't see her go to the syrup area I asked again when she was checking me out she said yes again and that was a lie. We love Daylight Donuts! This may sound like a little thing (but not to people who take their to-go cups seriously)... but Daylight has the BEST to-go cups ever! The coffee in it is the BEST morning coffee in the area. The donuts are off the charts delicious ... dangerously good. Bagels are awesome. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent & also priced beyond fairly. The people who work her are professional and kind... and work like a well-oiled machine! I love the fact that they remember exactly how I take my coffee, and make it just right every time.
