I'm a curly girl and I've had nightmare, sobbing results from the few times I've deviated from her in the last decade. Every time I leave, my hair looks just like the Pinterest pics I've brought in as inspiration. Dayna is *just* that amazing at what she does. I love how caring and thoughtful she really is, not just in a welcoming way, but also when discussing what the plan is for your hair. If she has suggestions that would accentuate what your idea is, or if she thinks aspects of it may not be right for you, she cares and really talks it through with you. She can absolutely achieve any look, but I love that she's very honest and realistic about expectations because some looks do take 2-3 visits to achieve. So incredibly unhappy with the haircut I got from Samantha. When a person comes in with overgrown bangs and say they want them to be eyebrow level they should not be cut way above the eyebrows. Samantha kept trying to fluff the bangs and cover it but I pointed it out to her and her comment was "yeah got that a little bit short there. Sorry". I came in with an overgrown bad haircut and left with a bad haircut with bangs over 1/2" above my eyebrows. Looks terrible. I have been going to this shop for a couple of years now although not exclusively, but I know I won't be back nor would I recommend. read more

Dayna has been doing my hair for 8 years. As a guy I wasn't sure about going to a "salon" but the atmosphere is fun and light and there are often other guys in there. Dayna is a true artist and for someone who does amazing work on women's hair (my wife sees Dayna as well and she is SMOKING HOT every time she leaves Dayna's shop) Dayna also has a knack for men's hair. I've been going to Dayna for probably 10 years, and I love her work. Over the years I've had quite a few stylists but only 3 have ever been able to do a GOOD job. Apparently it has strange growth patterns, is heavy, stubborn, and there's just so much of it that most people want to scream and run the other direction when I sit down in their chair. But not Dayna.... she's a total pro and knows exactly what to do, and just as importantly, what NOT to do! While Dayna is a competent stylist, she lacks in the sanitation department. She never puts towels under her customer's drapes and has ruined several shirts of mine from rinse water running down my back with dye or bleach in it. Every time I go in, no one has a towel under their drape. I've asked her about it and she says "oh gosh, let's use a towel." but doesn't consistently remember to do it. It's very discouraging to worry about the back of my shirt when getting my hair done. Also, my hair is long so when she towels it off, it's not fully rinsed and leaves streaks on skin as well. I've had to wear black because brown dye ruins white shirts as well as scrubbing my neck when I get home. read more

Having been a blonde for almost 15 consecutive years - I can tell you I've been to more colorists then then Pope has heard confession. I've been to Gene Juarez, Firefox Salon, and a sprinkling of private colorists here in the Sound. Dayna is by far the best blonde specialist I have ever met. I just got out of her chair less than an hour ago and once again, she has done an absolutely phenomenal job. There are zero orange or brassy tones to my color - it's the clean bright blonde I love. I also don't spend 5 hours in the chair because although I do have long hair, I have a life too. She is extremely reasonably priced and I can honestly say, as a person who's worked in customer service for many, many years, she has outstanding customer service. Very, very few people have the natural ability to serve their clients in the manner that keeps the client happy and coming back, but she does it each and every time.
