Kim is the owner and my nail for Over 10+ years. She's very accommodating and listens to the Client. I come in on a regular basis every 2 to 3 weeks. I'm pretty basic but will change it up now and again. Her schedule is flexible and I'm always able to get in. I always call ahead for an appointment even though they do take walk-ins. I know happens, but I've never seen her turn away Any walk-ins. She has a history with her clients and is always engaging in conversations about family and the latest going on of the client. It's nice to be heard and remembered. I came in as a walk-in and was immediately greeted and welcomed. I asked for a pedicure and got the nail technician Quinn who was very nice and did a great job! They have the pedicures with the massage chairs which were nice. My fault was not specifying which pedi I wanted, but I had a good experience. I got charged for the signature pedi ($35) which was the middle one. It came with a callus scrub, a sugar leg scrub, hot stone massage and a great smelling warm towel. I absolutely love this nail salon. I love the atmosphere, quality, price is decent and it's located 7 mins from my house. Everyone here does such a good job. I love this salon, they do a good quality acrylic nail set. Doesn't break or chip ever, is the perfect thickness. Do good designs. All around 10/10 except the color options are severely lacking, and they need to re-paint the Gel color selection ring thing, because the colors are chipping and old and faded and mis-leading. If you're looking for a good full set/fill and want a basic color (they barely have a good nude selection to pick from so I mean like very basic) then definitely recommend. I don't love my nails this time and I'm going to go somewhere else for a repaint (I just got them done 30 mins ago) they didn't have an olive green: just this one, a way darker and way lighter. I did a walk-in pedicure, and the nail tech helped me right away to the pedicure chairs. I had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes which I didn't mind since my feet were soaking. The only reason why four instead of five stars is the limited ability to do nail designs. To start, my mom and I both got the deluxe pedicure. However, they sped through us so fast we were done in less than 50 minutes which would've been fine if they had done a good job but they didn't. They were in such a rush that when the lady was supposed to be scrubbing my calluses off my right foot, she said "there's no callus here for me to scrub" and proceeded to the next part of the pedicure. The problem is that I very much had calluses on my right foot and that was actually the main reason I chose the deluxe pedicure. I also asked for a French tip and when the lady did the tips, she didn't bother to sharpen the edges of the tips so now they look like blobs. Additionally, I had gotten gel. My mom however had specifically said no gel. They did gel for her anyway and since she and I were talking, she didn't notice them using the light. When it came time to pay, my mom asked why they charged her for gel and the lady said my mom asked for gel. But I was right there and my mom specifically said no gel. They still charged her for it though. On top of all this, their prices suck and they're not very nice or accommodating. This is hands down the greatest nail salon! I just moved from out of town and was not familiar with the hours of this salon. I called to make an appointment, they advised me they were booked until closing but would be willing to stay late to help fix a broken acrylic and do my fill. It was soooo appreciated, especially since I was turned down by many other salons. Not only did they fit me in, they also did a FANTASTIC job on my nails! Walked in, it was a 15 minute wait and then got a French pedicure done. This is the first nail place ive ever been to since I got stationed in WA. Its a really clean and nice salon. The ladies are also very nice. They're quiet. Will give short conversations. For me as a intro/extrovert person I like the quietness, minimal talk and soft classical music playing. They did very well on removing cuticles, callus, dry skin, and the massage. Nothing was too harsh to the point where it gets painful. Everything was just right. I also went in with a friend of mine who brought her 15 month old daughter too also. Both got their toes done. Just like any relationship you build one with your nail tech! I have been a loyal patron to this salon for 6 years. Moved to Korea and came back here JUST TO HAVE MY NAILS DONE. That "heavy set" lady.. her name is Melissa by the way, is eff'ing amazing Jack. She's the best damn nail tech I've had in the U.S. The only nail tech I've had who's attention to detail when doing my nails makes certain that they don't lift, chip, break. It's a fact, she is sarcastic, but sarcasm doesn't equal rude, she is young and full of life. I just love listening to her talk about all the fun stuff going on. In closing If something isn't being done that you want done I.e. cuticle trim, uneven nails, polish, open your damn mouth and ask for it. Don't be a keyboard warrior, say your comments to people to their face. Learn your technicians name, they are people too. Lets try to identify people from something OTHER than body size, color. At one point after the pedicure and during the manicure....the male technician grabbed a tool from under one of the nails desks that we were not sitting at. I asked if it was clean and told him my friend got a bad toe infection from tools that were not properly cleaned elsewhere. But went in and the first thing they ask is it I have a mask. um our mask mandate ended a month ago and if you still want to make people wear one you need to let them know on the phone. There's one lady there and comes off extremely rude and the whole energy in there is not welcoming at all. Horrible nail job. And although the lady who did my nails was very nice she didn't do well at all. They're very lumpy and extremely crooked. I asked her to fix them and she just couldn't and I was so over it at that point I just wanted to be out of there. Now I have to go get them fixed because this is embarrassing. Will not be returning.
