Very disappointed with the service and the high repair cost. Had my car towed here due to other reviews and they broke another part while fixing my original problem and then had the gaul to try and get me to pay for it plus labor too! Plus we had to bring the car back because they messed up the repair and they were insanely slow. Also, a friend of mine brought her car in here, had a similar experience where she had to come back due to a botched repair and they forgot to put the screws back in her shifter and then they couldn't find the screws? They are either really incompetent or scam artists. We both will never be back. read more

I will always take my business here. Mike and the staff are extremely helpful, I trust their word over any other shop. I have taken vehicles to other shops in the past where i was told that many parts would need to be replaced. However the second opinion is always worth it. I got better service here and a better price. I also asked many questions just so i could understand, what part does what. All my questions were answered and i wont ever go anywhere else. In a word, disappointed. I've had some work done over the last few months at Day's. Mainly for oil changes and inspection/emission, nothing too major, but for two different cars. For the most part I felt that I got a decent deal. Until today. I dropped a car off to get a quote on how much it would be to do a repair. They told me that wouldn't be a problem and took my keys. A few hours later I got a call for the price. I felt it was too high so I asked them to pull it out and give me a written bid. When I showed up to get the car they charged me a diagnostic for it. They charged me a diagnostic fee that I never agreed to and was never mentioned by the receptionist. This wasn't a hard repair. It was a power steering pump. I knew the problem, I just needed to know the price. The hourly labor rate was charged and I feel ripped off. There is no way that it took them longer than 2 minutes to look under my hood and see exactly what was needed to get to the pump (it isn't much). If I had a few hours I could do this repair myself, but now it is at a different shop that is repairing it for half the price. I understand that this is industry practice, but they have never done it to me before, and it was never mentioned. Also, the bid included 2.5 hours labor when the industry standard for this repair is 1.1. Oh, did I mention the shop was empty? The good news is that they won't see another dime from me. The bad news is that I now need to find another shop that will recharge my A/C as I was going to bring it to them next week. Bottom line: if you need something like an oil change or inspection/emission that the price is clear beforehand then they do alright. If you need an actual repair, be prepared to grab your ankles for labor and pay well above industry standard. read more

Took pt cruiser in for cam position sensor replacement. Was told timing was off one tooth on crank. Charged 6 hours labor for a job that didnt need to be done. Due to the fact that timing belt was replaced 3 weeks prior by a reputable mechanic. Car was running fine, before it was taken to days. And they didnt even change cam position sensor. Car stilll puts out p340 code. What a rippoff. I will never go there again.. They failed, and swindled me. read more

We trusted Days for years to take care of our vehicles and sometimes they did, but now that we have moved elsewhere it is clear that we didn't receive very good service. We had a nagging ignition problem in our van that was clearly electrical but despite me providing written information about symptoms they mechanically replaced many parts that didn't need replaced. I had the vehicle in eight times for this same issue. When I finally moved elsewhere a partially cut wire near a relay was found in literally three minutes. Thousands of dollars misspent. read more
