Their laundry facilities are also clean. The park is right on a stop for the deadwood trolley. We were in a tent and stayed on the berm. There was a pleasant stream behind us. The bathroom was just a quick walk away. The people there were so nice too. They have a museum on property and the stagecoach and horses that run through Deadwood originate here at the campground so you can see them before and after. This was our first time to South Dakota but we will definitely be back and when we come back we will be staying here.

Restrooms and roomy showers were clean. We had a 25' TT and site accommodated our tow vehicle. We had 2 sites a back in (3 nights) and pull thru (2 nights). Beautiful hiking trail behind campground. We had a fire ring and location is somewhat hilly so difficult for handicap to get around. All in all a great location and easy to find. Nice general store on site. Definitely have to get some homemade pie from the Purple Pie House, blueberry, apple and bumbleberry were delicious warmed ip with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream! The Claw Antler & Hide store had very unique and cool items bought antler whistles for the grandkids. Had the best buffalo burger at Black Hills Burger and Bun but go early its very popular! Lynette called us on the way to find a repair shop and say she was going to send us a refund for the second day. That my forks is the way to do business and I will give this place a 5 star rating. The whole team there did a fabulous job! There was nothing they would not do to ensure their guests were comfortable, taken care of and having all their needs met. We were in a RV, our water and other plumbing needs were taken care of every day with no wait times. Breakfast was served every morning and was delicious! Every single person there was cheerful and seemed happy to be there. I highly recommend this campground. Please be sure you get the armband for "da bus" so you can just hop on and off at various destinations and not have to worry about driving. Truly a great experience- we will be back!!
