Being rate off I90 all you here is traffic all night long. The bathrooms have cloth curtains for doors. The bar food and drink is overpriced for what it is. They have you reserve a spot when you pay in advance and then just say find someplace in this general area when you get there. Not a fan . Won't be coming back. read more

Where do I start? First off the only reason it gets two stars is because I got a full refund during the rally. Why was it one star you ask, well let's start off with booking a full hookup's spot 10 months ago and then showing up to you don't have a full hookup spot and you don't even have a spot. They first blamed it on the rain and said the people that had power only couldn't get to their spot due to the mud so they gave them any open spot which meant they got the full hookups and we got nothing. I failed to see why we put in a reservation 10 months ago for a first come first serve establishment. Come to find out they over sold full hookups because they are under construction and they didn't have them ready yet, so instead of calling the people affected by this they let a sh$@ show unfold one customer at a time. Side note the roads going in and out are horrible in a car let alone riding my motorcycle through it the entire rally. Once it dries up the ruts are going to be dangerous as hell. They did refund our $1,4000.00 as previously stated and gave us an idea of where to look for a 8 night stay in a 43' fifth wheel, that is the only reason for the two stars. I will never book another stay at Kickstands. Where did we stay? That's on another review here in a week while we enjoy the open roads, I will say I'm 110 percent happy with what we found. That review will be 5 stars if it continues to unfold the way it's going so far. read more

Good food, good times! Great camping. And a cool ass area for good Bike Parking. Has good shower rooms, and even some small cabins. Easy access just off the Interstate outside of Sturgis to the east. When in South Dakota, ask for Rooster He knows what's up and where to go! He'll be in a Cowboy Hat, and has them Diamond Eyes. read more

Okay from from the drive in. When we drive in they have a security so check in. Not sure if you can drive by them too the restaurant without check in. They have a full Rv park with showers to walk into the restaurant bar is amazing venue. You order off a chalk board. Very limited. But a lot of southern good food. My wife had the loaded Fries and they where a little greasy but tasty. The people that were with us said the the coleslaw was a little different so I tried them. They were very good tasted fresh. They LOVED THE BACKED BEANS.. okay my turn I had the brunch burger. And it was a good burger a little under seasoned but good. I give this place a 4 star rating only because its new owners and it looks like they are doing some great thing and upgrades to the place. They are putting in a new outside stage looks great y'all. Went for a long weekend from IL to Sturgis, SD. Had stumbled on Kickstand by word of mouth from a server while at dinner. I called and spoke to KIM who stated she would hold a cabin for me. I took a bit longer then the hour I told her it would take to get there and this woman called me back to ask if I still needed the cabin as someone was looking to rent it and I had the last one. Now she could have easily did FCFS since I gave no deposit or anything by my first name and word that I would be there. When she called I confirmed I was indeed on my way. I got there and I felt like I walked into a family gathering. KIM was not only an honest women with integrity but she was down right AMAZING!!!! She welcomed us as if she knew us her whole life and I tell you this woman helped restore my faith in humans a little bit more! The camp site was awesome and clean!!! MAN-O- MAN the showers there surprised me as to how clean they kept them, and at a camp site!!!! I haven't even touched on the amazing staff and the great entertainment they had as their line up! I had such a comfortable and wonderful time here! I will absolutely return when I am in that area and I will sing praise on this establishment to anyone who is heading that way! We are buying property and staying in our 5th wheel til we close on it. So in September us in our 5th wheel and my dad ( who is a Vietnam vet and gulf War vet ). Paid a wheel month on both of our campers. My daughter cane to do laundry and let have a day with my grandbabies and apparently went over the speed limit. I was at my dad's camper next to ours and visiting with my dad's VA home health doctor, when a white truck pulled up and this guy gets out and started screaming at me about her driving. I told him I didn't know since I wasn't with them and he got right in my face and clenched his fist and poked me and said he don't give a f**k. He said listen up you dumb f***ing bi**h I'm the owner and ages banned from coming here. I told him that's fine cause if she was speeding then it is right for him to do that. At this time my dad's VA nurse Brenda came out to watch and record everything. I tried to walk away and that made him more pissed and he grabbed me and said B***h do not ever walk away from me when I'm talking. I tried to get away since that scares the he'll out of me cause I had been abused before and now I'm in flight mode and scared. I finally got away and called my husband. Brenda said if I need anything call cause I was very worried about my dad. After that we stayed another 4 days with me recording him constantly parking by our camper and stalking me. After the last video I took he has his wife call and say our dog barked so we had to move. We had paid a total of $1350 and asked for a refund per their policy and was told yes we would get it. As of today October 21st we still have no refund. I have contacted the BBB and visa and our bank and they will be canceling our payment to them. After I left a review I was contacted by 5 different women who had the same experience including one who said he Threatened her like he did me. I won't go into to much detail with the exception of he Threatened to ram my car with me in it and a few other more things if I caused any problems. They know I have the videos and pictures of the harassment and threats. Yes I did turn it all over to the police. Now they are fighting our refund even though in our contract we signed it stated very clearly that if you leave or asked to leave they will refund the prorated portion of your stay and refund it back. The place we moved to is amazing. I told them what Happened and they such a beautiful place. Our dog has only barked at deer and is very calm now. The morning he barked at kickstands I was home alone when his hair stood on end he bared his teeth at the door and kept me away from the door and window. Now we are at ease and I do not feel afraid to be outside. The ladies who also has a problem with him would like for me to go in a a lawsuit. I am considering it. If you are a woman staying there please be careful. As for the videos and pictures I am keeping them in case he tries anything. There aren't enough positive things to say about Kickstands. The owners are so accommodating and genuinely down home. The bar staff Cassy and Olivia are two ladies I can't wait to see again. The food is great, I ate there every night I stayed. Kiddos to the chef and to the meat patty maker, Kim. I'm hoping to return for more exciting times.
