We were here the week prior to the Rally and loved it! Why? Clean, quiet and well maintained. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed up on the 3 rd level overlooking downtown Sturgis. This RV Park has a lot of issues. First they put us in a dirt lot it was called an overflow. The bathrooms were always dirty, sinks, showers ring around toilet. I don't think they ever clean the restrooms. Every time I went in there no matter what time they were filthy. The shower handles are broken and you have to be careful which showers you use. Also takes over 10 minutes to get luke warm water. They have a little restaurant with a full menu but what they don't tell you is they have dinner specials most nights and when they do this they will not cook anything from the grill. My husband had enough and he blurted out this is BS using the actual word. The cook came after him and then he got the owner Karla and she came over and used very fowl language at him. Very Unprofessional owner. We have stayed at several places for Sturgis Rally and this has been the absolute worst. I would highly recommend finding a different place to stay. read more

We didn't have reservation placed but was lucky to get a spot immediately while we were about 30 mins away from this RV park. Big RV cement slab, huge garbage bins strategically placed around the park & very close to downtown area & supermarket. They also have clean shower rooms along with laundry area. RV cement slabs are appropriately distanced. Our location is at Lot 101 with a great view of the entire town. This spot is right next to a lamp post, well lit, which is not a problem to us, but if you prefer to be in the darker spot, try & request it from front office ahead of time when booking. Check out the neighboring town called DEADWOOD--livelier night after night. Lots of place to listen to live music & if u like cigars from Deadwood itself, visit the Deadwood Tobacco Company. read more

Not much shade, cement slab with gravel drives and sites, near services but that means hearing 24hour music from in town bars (not even during rally), nice dog run though not fenced but there were deer there and they were beautiful! Staff was awesome!!! Can walk to grocery, services, and around the neighborhood if you chose to, it was pretty. Easy check in, staff on their game, occasional events like pot lucks that people really enjoyed, didn't use bathrooms or laundry as I have those in my rig so can't comment. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 was the grounds, felt like I was in Arizona without any grass and a bunch of rocks. read more

This park is making a lot of improvement and making lt look like a classy RV Park. They are poring concrete pads for most all sights, one mistake the person in charge of laying out sewer hook up's are making a BIG mistake by catering to class A Motor Homes ONLY for the upper levels so they can pull straight in and having hook ups on the Left side!! So if a fifth wheel or pull RV wants to park up there and have to back in they want you out to run a long,sewer hose under your rig for your hookup. The correct way would have sewer to accommodate both types of Rigs!!! There are just as many rv travelers with Fifth wheels and trailers. PS office employees are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here for 4 days after the rally was over. We were up on the third level with our motorhome overlooking Sturgis. What a great view. The park was very clean and the managers were very nice and the price was really cheap. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again anytime in the area. We went to Mount Rushmore Custer State Park Deadwood and all the sites nice central location for us. There is no swimming pool no hot tub but excellent Wi-Fi. The RV park is so convenient to downtown and is a wonderful place for BIG rigs! We stayed 11 days recently. On the day we were supposed to leave it was raining and since we had just washed our rig they came down to tell us that we could stay as long as we wanted so we wouldn't have to drive on wet roads. The management is extremely friendly and accommodating. They have spots up the hill that have great views too! We will certainly be back! read more

Check-in was easy. The staff immediately gave us a receipt for our stay so that we could go get our South Dakota drivers licenses in Rapid City. Thank you team Sturgis RV! Our spacious pull-through concrete pad site was nice. Wifi was strong. TIP: If you don't need a pull-through, then ask for a site in the upper part of the park. The view is excellent! This park generously offers a free dinner every Sunday night. Ours was spaghetti & lasagna and it was delicious! I noticed that the showers had less hot water in the late mornings versus earlier in the day. Perhaps the water heater is small? $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry is very expensive. read more

Came here with the expectation of staying 3days. Since Labor Day is approaching we've decided to add another 4 days. We are in a 5th wheel staying on the 2nd level. The view is amazing. I believe 2nd & 3rd level are for Motorhomes however during this slower time David the manager was very accommodating. I would recommend this Park to anyone passing through or wanting to explore the area! read more

Checked in, as soon as I mentioned passport America the well adjusted clerk's tone changed. She explained it was 40 dollars for the two nights but that I could stop at the ATM in town and pay the next day, because like any well-respected business, they DONT TAKE CREDIT OR DEBIT. Red flag #1, should have left right then. I thought it was odd she parked me in between two motor homes when the entire west lot was empty. I noticed a big xenon light right next to me, but figured the light was on a time and it wouldn't be an issue. Around 11 PM, it was clear the blinding highway illumination was not going to be turned off. I called the phone number and expected to get security, but was greeted by an intoxicated sounding woman who berated me for having the gall to ask for a different spot. She told me to put a towel up over my windows and that no one else had complained all summer. She then showed up and banged on the door to my RV at 11:30 at night, demanding cash payment or she would call the cops. I asked her to. Next, a car rolled up with 4 occupants who proceeded to hang around the outside of my rv, clearly not police. I called them and two officers showed up and she had me escorted off the property. All because I didn't want to pay $40 to park under the light. I can do that at Walmart for free. I've been to about 10-15 rv campgrounds and never had a problem, until sturgis "downtown" RV PARK. Awful experience. Do not recommend for families or passersby. I wish that wretched woman well! Steer clear! read more

Visited this park in mid June 2020. Very clean. Parked our 36' motor home on a cement pad. Easy for leveling. Free wi fi was very good. Personnel are very nice and accommodating. 3 blocks from downtown. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend. read more

The staff were so patient and accommodating, even during the crazy Sturgis Rally. Nice clean park with some very nice views up top. Complimentary shuttle service was very well organized and driver "Jerome" was a fantastic addition. He was so patient when we were a little toasted late at night and trying to get us all safely back in the shuttle. He was polite and accommodating...Had some good recommendations for places to go as well, and had us laughing at his stories every trip. Check in people were also really friendly and efficient. Kudos to the entire staff--they were all five star! read more

First time here - stayed 2 nights since we were just passing through - and would definitely stay again. I think it's one of the nicest RV parks here in Sturgis and would highly recommend. This RV park is awesome. It has a great view of the town and is not too far a walk from the main drag.

This is a very clean and fun RV Park. It has a walking trail and is just a few steps to downtown Sturgis. Gna and her crew are very friendly. This was my first time to any campsite and stayed in the underground house. We used this as our home as we traveled to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Bear Butte, Deadwood, and crossed into three other states. read more
