The room was clean. The few downsides were no vending machines so bring your own drinks! And the walls are pretty thin. Someone was knocking on the room next door and I sounded like it was our door. Taryn at the front went so above & beyond I almost wanted to cry. It's a Sunday & I had some confusion with the adjustment on my booking. She completely went the extra mile to help me when it was really something out of her hands and to be honest, didn't have to do at all. Mind you it was late evening on a holiday weekend. Taryn reached out to the general manager Andy. they worked together over the phone to get my booking corrected and got me in a room in no time. Thank you both a thousand times over. The hotel was soooo clean. From the lobby, the pool, to the room. Even the elevator smelled nice. The dinning area is up to date. The breakfast is delicious as well. The fruit wasn't old & the cereal wasn't stale. Ima waffle girl & had fun making them (thought I was a chef lol). The rooms were very clean. I alway wipe rooms down whenever I arrive to a hotel & the disinfectant wipe was not dusty or filthy at all. Under the toilet seat was clean with no wet spots. The towels & the end of the toilet paper all were folded so cute & symmetrical. Loved it. I'm so glad I got to stay here. I had a great experience and they helped make my trip go a little smoother. It's definitely a nice family (pet free) hotel with plenty of near by food places & a target. I hope this review reaches the hire management team because this was a great experience and Taryn & Andy definitely deserves recognition for the 5 star customer service on short notice. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to town.

My wife and I usually stay at the Fairfield Inn by the airport, but they wouldn't let us use points…read morefor both nights--only one. So we gave the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey a try, and overall, we're glad we did. When we first arrived, we noticed there's a lot of construction happening. There are clear signs at the front and back entrances asking you to check in before unloading your car--which we appreciated. We parked under the awning and walked in to find even more renovations inside the lobby. Right away, we were greeted by a staff member offering complimentary drinks--a nice touch. Check-in was quick and easy, and thanks to our Marriott Platinum status, we were upgraded to a high-floor room overlooking the pool. The front desk staff was helpful and told us the best way to reach our room was from the back entrance, which made the walk much shorter. Our room on the 9th floor looked recently renovated. It was clean, well-kept, and featured a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The view of the pool courtyard was great. However, there was one major issue: the heating/AC unit had exposed wires hanging out from underneath. That's a serious safety oversight, especially if you're traveling with kids. I cant believe that the electrician that tied in this unit left it this way and then who ever was the inspector going back and checking the work did a poor job and the lady that cleaned the unit should have also caught the problem. For this reason is why I gave 3 stars. The pool is both indoor and outdoor, connected by a small pass-through. It's heated, though honestly, it didn't feel very warm. There's a food and drink area by the pool, and in the evening they had live music. While I liked the idea, the sound quality wasn't great. I was sitting near the singer and could barely understand her. Thankfully, I recognized most of the songs and could follow along. Our stay included the breakfast buffet, which was held in one of the ballrooms during renovations. While it didn't have a typical restaurant vibe, it served its purpose. Made-to-order omelets and eggs were available, along with standard buffet options. Not fancy, but filling. I had an ice pack I needed to keep frozen, and the front desk gladly stored it in their freezer. I also chatted with the staff and learned that all floors, the lobby, and the restaurant are being renovated, and a Sheraton Club Lounge is being added for Platinum members and higher (or for an additional fee if you're not elite). We plan to stay here again, I will also make sure that I ask for a room with a balcony. It's a short drive to Hershey, and the rates are much better than staying in Hershey. Hopefully, once renovations are finished, everything will look great--and fingers crossed they don't raise the prices too much afterward.

The indoor pool is large enough for laps. The breakfast at this hotel is top notch. They have all the staples and have someone to make omelets! The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is being renovated as all hotels need to do and will be even more beautiful when it is finished. But I think the one thing that makes this hotel so wonderful is the kind staff. Thanks all.

Staff: Both Antwan at front desk when I arrived at night and woman working desk morning I left were incredibly kind patient and helpful. I had a lot of travel go wrong prior to my stay and Antwan literally listened to me and was so kind and thoughtful it made up for two full days of awful travel troubles. Hotel and rooms: Hotel is very new (appearance wise at least), super clean, no weird mold smells or dirty anything, no smoking smells etc. Rooms are very spacious and have nice bathrooms with big showers and kitchens with basics like utensils cups and plates. Everything in room was the cleanest I've ever seen at a hotel (I stay in many every year for work). Location: Easy to get to hotel, no loud noises at no guy or in the morning. Safe and off main road so no people or cars nearby the hotel parking lot which made it feel even more safe. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone! I'll be back for sure next time I'm in the area!

Having a good sized fridge was helpful! Breakfast is decent - I appreciated the build your own breakfast sandwich approach which is a little different than most included hotel breakfasts. The kiddos enjoyed the waffles. The staff has been friendly and helpful. For the first 4 nights of our stay it was fairly quiet, but I think that's just because there weren't many people staying near our room. The last two nights we realized that if someone is in the hallway it sounds like they're in the room with you, and you can hear the people above you and beside you moving around in their rooms. So it doesn't appear a lot of effort to soundproof was made. Another thing to note is that while they have laundry machines available for use in the hotel, they only take quarters. From the noise aspect alone we would probably choose to stay somewhere else, although with ear plugs it was manageable. The hotel is new and clean and bright, though, and was convenient located for us. We did appreciate a lot of the things within the room (the double blinds, the closet layout, the kitchenette and so on) but having rest disturbed by noise pollution is just not the best.

Rooms aren't GPS friendly. Desk clerk answered call. Requested directions to rm 119. She said it was upstairs and to come to office bc she was takn care of customers. Driver enters office, even holds door for disabled lady with dog. 4 customers waiting. Desk clerk lady said get in line but did call the room, no answer. After 10min, driver asks again where 119 was. Clerk said it was upstairs & can't get in needed a key card she has customers & cannot leave desk. 5 more customers now enter the office. Clerk said for them to go in front of driver. The front desk has security cameras. Driver sees time, and cannot wait, driver steps outside to call store. Other driver takes call said room is at end not on 2nd floor. Driver found rm. Customer, an elderly man, driver apologies for being late, explained ph# given was front desk, as GPS led driver behind bldg & numbers aren't direction friendly. Customer questioned cash due bill being 7$ more than what he calculated. Driver takes menu from car, adds up order. It's correct. Motel is using old menus. Drivers car has audio & video surveillance car cam. 3.5hrs post delivery. Mgr calls store, makes allegation that driver threatened desk clerk, to slap the sh*t out of her. Said no more business allowed there. *This never happened. And there's PROOF. Desk clerk LIED. Not only was call & office interaction on both their security cameras but on the drivers. **When would this alleged "threat" have taken place? In the office the exchange would've been on camera & in front of witnesses, which would've created a hostile environment, driver probably would've been thrown out, & perhaps LE might've been involved. Security cameras do not lie. Clerk said 119 was on 2nd floor & need a card key to get up there. Rm 119 was on the 1st floor near end of same bldg. She is supposed to know where the rooms are. To make driver wait, approx 10min a customer, which would've been well over 30minutes for "wrong" room directions is obtuse. To make false allegstions against the driver is beyond unprofessional. It's absolutely uncalled for and in court would be defined as 'perjury', which is a crime. 'Why' would the clerk bare false allegations against this driver? The only thing that comes to mind is, the driver didn't "wait" and found the room on his own. This may have ticked the clerk off? This is NOT good business. All delivery drivers should invest 30$ on a 3 way car cam with audio. This protects the driver.

So where to begin - I booked 3 nights with Redroof.com website I have an account. I originally had…read moretwo nights booked and then needed a third. I went on Redroof website signed into my account and manage reservation and added the third night. Second morning they locked my door when I went to breakfast and had a business meeting. I did not know it at the time only thought my key didn't work since I tried the door at 9:30 am and it didn't work thought maybe the key was wiped. I would fix it later. Had other things to do went about my day. Got a call on my phone 11:22 am I called back and the front desk person yelling at me I was supposed to check out and get my stuff out of there, I asked if they had locked my door and he said he had with my stuff inside. I told him I had reservation for the night. He said he didn't have that and was my problem not his. I was in a very public location on the phone. he told me would charge me $50 for half a day since they don't have late check out. I was like fine what ever. Later I went back after thinking about it this guy locked my stuff in this room and wants to charge me for basically stealing my stuff I should have called the police. I went when I was finished with my business for the day and went to the office Livid!! told the front desk just fix my key and i would get my stuff and leave. I did within 10 min I gave the key back thanked him and left. I got a bill the next morning after driving home 5 hours last night for a room I never had more than 10 minutes access to so I called customer relations. They called him after I tried calling twice. He will not work with me, this hotel is crooked and I believe they over booked the rooms and wanted me out of there, I would have gladly paid and stayed the last night I reserved. Well I will never stay there again. Oh and the air conditioner was broken and the door kept opening up on ITS OWN in the middle of the night. Room 150 have fun if you stay there I will never stay there again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can tell the hotel is old and needs some tweaking but it is clean and smells neutral. I didn't smell any cleaning chemicals, cigarettes, weed, dog/cat, nothing. Breakfast was always completely ready before promised time (6am weekdays, don't recall the time for weekends). They have waffle irons, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/bagels, scrambled eggs (powdered), sometimes breakfast meats, various drinks. Breakfast area and counters are kept clean. Elevator is wonky but worked fine. It is on the small side, so getting their luggage carts in can be tricky. Microwave and coffee maker in rooms. Bathtub in all the rooms I stayed. Beds are comfortable. A few irritants are the cabinet with the fridge and microwave; the door is on the wrong side. It should open the other way so you can access the fridge easier. Swapping the side the door swings isn't difficult. Another is some rooms had a huge TV and the TV is bolted to the dresser so I couldn't move it to make room for stuff I wanted to keep on it. I don't watch TV so no idea if their channels are decent. The bathroom exhaust fan is loud and you cannot turn on just a light in the bathroom. So, if you get up to wee at night and turn on the light, you're also going to be listening to the fan. The shower water was hot, didn't have to wait long for it. Sam, the front desk staff in the afternoon is a friendly man. I didn't speak to the morning staff much at all. One woman I saw cleaning the rooms one day was friendly and helpful. I couldn't hear traffic noise from the highway but, being theres another hotel next door, I could sometimes hear people in their parking lot.

The room itself wasn't bad, the furniture could be updated but for one night, it was fine.
