Valve cover gasket was replaced, no problems . Fuel gauge works , no problem . But the misfiring , and cruise control , well after taking the car back 3 times , still having the same problem. Every time it was something different , replaced this, fixed that, and did this , today car still not fixed . On april 3 2023 called John and told him the car was still doing the same thing!! Wanted me to bring it back and leave it with him for the 4th time , and that's when I asked for a refund, He refused to give me a refund , said what I paid was for parts and labor and a 30 day guarantee applied. No problem…read more Second week was not looked at, Scotty said he would get to it beginning of third week, no problem, small shop, lots of cars. By the end of the third week I called again and Scotty said he had big jobs that needed to go, so early next week. Ok. Fourth week, Wednesday I called and he said he hadn't looked at it yet but had me on schedule for Monday of fifth week. This is my only car, and Scotty was recommended by someone I trust, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wednesday of the fifth week he told me he was dealing with an issue on his lift but he was about to put my car on the rack. After work I drive by and see my car hasn't moved since it was dropped off. At this point Scotty decides to tell me he has a lot of big jobs and doesn't know when he'd get to my car. So not only had he lied week after week, he also wasted my time when I trusted he would get it done. I had my car towed to playground automotive in FWB and they diagnosed, order parts and fixed the clutch in 2 days. If he didn't want to work on my vehicle he could have told me before the fifth week. I was completely nice and respectful and he just kept lying. Bad bussiness, wasted my time which is also my money. Lady at the counter was nice enough although it is unfortunate this is the shop she works at.

Without a doubt, they beat every price in town, especially from the "name-brand" stores. What I like the most is that he'll tell it like it is. He'll tell you what repairs need to be done and won't try to sell you extra. Sometimes auto repairs have taken a day or two, but I totally trust the work that Scotty has done. After they took my vehicle in to patch a leak, they removed the wheel, called me up to the counter…read moreto tell me they couldn't repair it because it was more than 6 years old saying "it was the law" (which I now know to be a lie, no such law, federal or state). He went on to tell me "no shops will do it". Another lie and by the way as it turned out, they were the only one's who wouldn't fix it. I told them to "forget it, just add air, it will hold until I get home", they refused, sited "the law" again and said that it was 'illegal' to touch that tire which again is a complete lie. Why did he need to remove the tire to tell me this? I thought he "couldn't touch it", so why did he. When I walked out to get my vehicle, I noticed the employee putting the lug nuts on one right after the other in line, tightening them with an impact tool, not in a star pattern which anyone knows is the proper way so the wheel lugs are tightened evenly. The novice then tried to tell me the tire was dry rotted which is a huge lie as there is absolutely zero cracks or damage on any of the tires as I showed him, which the next shop I went to concurred that their is no dry rot. 6 months ago they tried to sell me a battery which was the wrong one and was 40% more than a more recognized and reputable dealer. A year before that, they damaged a lug nut post on my wifes cars, again, we had to take it to a more credible auto center to have it fixed but which I was there, a lady sitting beside us said they damaged a tire pressure sensor and that cost her $104, a conversation I'll never forget. So why did I go there again? I came out of a business near by and noticed a low tire, figured surely they could handle patching one tire, nope, they wanted to sell me a set of 4, and by the way, they are the most expensive tire repair from Crestview to Chipley but don't take my word for it, ask them how much, them call a few others. Funny thing, they sell tires that are 4 years old but won't fix one beyond 6. Most people get flats around 10 years apart. That's some window of repair. Based on that, why say that you repair them at all. Bottom line, go there, do business but take lots of money, expect trouble, and to get fitted with new tires which have sat on their shelves for several years, then, everytime you get a flat, plan on buying a new one so you can be the one who's keeping them in business, not me.

This place is either totally incompetent or crooks. I needed a trailer tire patched in the center…read moreof the tread. They failed, then tried to tell me the tire is leaking from the sidewalls. Water never lies, big old bubbles right where they put a plug, of course they told me that did a patch, they did not but were quick to offer to sell me a new tire even though this tire just needs a patch from a nail. Crooks don't go there.
