Was looking for a quick spot to grab some boba tea and so glad I found this spot! Upon walking in staff was so warming & welcome It was est. in 2001! They offer milk and non dairy options! I ordered a taro green milk tea and my best friend ordered the same but blended! They play music and it's a chill spot to get some work done as well as others were doing so.

Favorite drink here is the taro green milk tea. Anything with latte in the name has whole milk and anything with milk tea has non dairy milk! I believe it is coconut milk. I got full sweetness and it came out perfect! I was told ahead of time the taro will be a bit grainy as they blend real taro! Drinks came fast and it's a very bright & clean place. I can taste the infused green tea and fresh milk!

I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was delicious! They use real taro, not the powder, so the drink has some chunks in it and isn't purple colored. The staff made sure to explain that when I ordered and were very helpful. There's a few different seating options and some cute plants inside.

Overall, Dayung's is a pretty good milk tea spot! The prices are a little on the higher side, but the drinks are worth trying. I got my favorite -- the classic boba milk tea -- and luckily the pearls weren't soaked in too much brown sugar, so it wasn't overly sweet. The milk tea has a nice hint of caramel flavor, which is great if you like that kind of taste. The shop has a clean, simple vibe. Service was just okay, nothing special, but not bad either. Would definitely come back again when I'm craving something sweet but not too heavy!

I never thought I'd say this, but adding boba to my coffee might be my new obsession--and DaYung's Boba in Tempe nailed it. Hands down some of the best boba I had! The staff here is so friendly and efficient. My partner ordered a banana milk tea with aiyu jelly. I ordered my usual of an oolong milk tea with tapioca and pudding. All of the drinks were made to order with one size only, and they have plenty of chairs and tables for people to hang out and enjoy their drinks. There's also board and card games. The place is clean and located in a strip mall. There's free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. They also give punch cards, where you can collect 10 stamps for a free drink. I would totally come back here when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend DaYung to anyone in the area looking for bubble tea.

My family and I like DaYung. They use fresh fruit like strawberries and mango when they are in season. The strawberry fresh milk & strawberry passion is one of our favorites. The mango boba drinks are what we get too. Their Jasmine green tea is alright, but what they are really known for & what they are good at making is fresh fruit teas. Only negative is price increase and they sometimes run out of boba. They offer stamp cards. Highly recommend!

If you want boba drinks that taste delicious, this is the place to go. They have many different flavors, such as milk tea, tea, coffee, and fruit smoothies. They also have varieties of toppings, such as boba, grass jelly, aiyu, chia seeds, Oreo, macchiato, coconut jelly, etc. The service was great. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Our order was taken and the drinks was ready in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere of the store was relaxing. The put a lot of plants around the store, making it a place to relax. I do believe it will be more relaxing if they use darker paint for their wall. But as far as drinks concern, it was tasty and delicious. During this visit I got my personal favorite green milk tea and my wife got the new cloud coffee. The cloud coffee tasted like a blended Vietnamese coffee. I actually like it better than normal Viet coffee because I like blended drinks lol Also they closed on Monday and Tuesday. So if you free on other days, definitely check it out guys!

This place is usually a solid 5 for me, but I also haven't visited in the longest time. Something was just off about my recent visit. I'm not sure if it's because I came on a weekday in the summer, or perhaps something else? For starters there was a strange smell, and it wasn't faint.. it honestly smelled like the sewer backed up to put it bluntly. I don't know how the employees could handle it, perhaps you go scent blind after a while? Which brings me to the next thing that was off... the service. No one was cheerful, or lively. My favorite tea spot! You can smell the fresh tea as soon as you walk in. The place is small but always clean. My all-time favorite drink is the Pink Beauty with 30% sugar, it's perfectly balanced and refreshing. In the winter, I switch to their warm boba tea, which is just as good. The service is always great and fast. I highly recommend this awesome Taiwanese tea spot!

I waited 35 minutes for my 3 drinks, while other customers who came in after us got their order before us. The drinks seemed to be hastily made after we reminded them we still haven't received our drinks for the third time. I want to be able to come back for the drinks, but the service is appalling. Dayung is the spot to be for their fruit tea! (Their milk tea is really good too) they use fresh fruit in all their teas along with adjustable ice and sugar level. I suggest either the Jade lemon, lemon aiu or strawberry fresh milk. Factor: Fruit Tea *5\5*: like I said above, you'll be missing out on the best fruit tea in AZ if you don't come here. Milk Tea *4.7/5*: Honestly the milk tea here is really good and cheap, probably the best price to taste milk tea in all of AZ. But if you are looking for the best milk tea then check out Tea Swirl Boba *4.5\5*: the boba definitely is homemade with the perfect level of sweetness. It is on the smaller side but that's personal preference. It also has a pretty good bite\chew to it. Non-factor: Service *5\5*: the best service in the boba industry, they say greetings when you walk in and farewells when you leave. Service is always with a smile and they deliver the drinks right to you. Definitely an noticeable experience when compared to any other place. Overall: 5\5, you won't find a better place than here. Boba Tea ranking for Tempe: 1. Dayung 2. Tea Swirl 3. Kung Fu Tea 4. Boba Tree Notes: Tea Swirl has the BEST milk tea and boba (brown sugar boba). I suggest the Assam milk tea 50% sugar with half ice and brown sugar boba. If they don't have brown sugar get 75% instead. I tried this place awhile back and was pleasantly surprised. They have fresh fruits that are used in their drinks and they apparently change seasonly. They had great service, it was inexpensive, and delicious. Additionally, the boba was what I considered perfect. It wasn't too soft or too hard. It was the perfect chewy texture that is expected of boba. The atmosphere was nice as well too, very chic. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Very clean looking place, new and all. Good prices for the quantity you get. The boba was good, chewy, soft and warm. I was a little disappointed in the milk tea itself. Wish I could have tasted the tea more. It tasted pretty bland. I did however like that you can custom your ice and sweetness level. read more

I think this is easily the best boba place in Arizona maybe it's because a lot of my friends work here, but the owner is extremely friendly and provide great customer service. The drink are fantastic I think I enjoyed everything beside their Kiwi drink which I hate lol. I would definitely recommend the Pink Beauty, Strawberry Fresh Milk, or their Lemon Aiyu drink. read more

I love everything about DaYung. I am a picky boba person and this place is everything! It's near ASU, the services is fast, employees are kind, and everything is fresh. I like how they precut fruits and have it in the fridge where everyone could see. Most important thing I love about DaYung is they only had a slight increased in pricing, but it isn't like other Boba places where you pay $5-6 for a small boba cup. I will continue to drive 35 mins to support DaYung read more

I use to live around the Tempe area but have since moved to the Phoenix Uptown area. I haven't found a place that has the great flavor, cleanliness and 'q' chewiness that DaYung does so well. The only con, is that if you spend less than 5, there's a fee of a few cents, (yeah I'm cheap). Therefor, I have a few dollars in cash with me for whenever I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I ordered their green tea taro. It was very different from the taro I usually order from other boba shops, this isn't your powdered, purple, artificial taro it had actual taro chunks in it. My friend who is a fan of the "fake" taro flavor wasn't a fan. But as for me I loved it! At first it got me a little surprised cuz I wasn't expecting the texture, but after a couple sips I'm addicted! I also ordered one of their popular milk teas with grass jelly that the lady at the register recommended, I forgot the name but the tea flavor was perfection! Just sucks I have to drive all the way to Tempe if I want DaYungs. read more

I love their strawberry fresh milk! They should make it bigger size. Some of my friend said the boba is too small but i was okay with it. One thing is they don't have a mango smoothie even tho they are using its picture as their advertisement. However, lovely place. read more

DaYung's fruit teas are a savior in the Phoenix summer heat. I was recommended to get the Pink Beauty, which is quite possible one of the most refreshing drinks that I've ever had. I'm not sure what fruits they put in it, but it's got a sort of citrus vibe to it with some aloe vera chunks and some other jelly chunks. It wasn't too sweet, but if you are like me and prefer a lighter, less sweet drink, I would recommend the 50 or 70% sweetness level. Literally the most perfect drink to quench your thirst after you've been out in 100+ degree weather. I can't wait to go back and buy it again and again! read more

oh, here we go again. as a regular customer, i feel the need to give dayung another review. it literally meets and exceeds your expectations for a boba shop...i'm obsessed. actually my whole family is - i can't count how many times a month we go. this time, we ordered a thai tea, strawberry fresh milk, wintermelon milk tea, and caramel boba latte (not pictured). every time we go, i love trying everyone else's drinks so that next time i know what i want to order. every drink was flavorful, fresh, and delicious! the strawberry fresh milk was new to me, and what i had in mind was regular strawberry milk but of course, i was wrong. it was made with fresh strawberries and i was a jealous i didn't order it myself! but now i know what i want to try next. :) read more

Decided to try this place out based solely on the great reviews. It did not disappoint! Clean, chill vibe and good service but more importantly great boba drinks. My 81 year old OG Chinese-Filipino mother gave this place good reviews as well. She always orders taro smoothies with boba when we visit similar joints but unlike many other places who use the purple taro powder (which I think is still good) DaYung's uses real pieces of taro. That immediately put this drink in a league all its own. It has a more earthy, chunky taro flavor but if you're good with that, this is so so delicious!! My jasmine green tea was a bit sweet for my tastes but after letting the ice water down a bit tasted perfect! My husband got the DaYung fruit tea and said it was good, refreshing and citrusy with chunks of apples, lime, orange and even a cherry tomato. They also give a fork with the drink so you can fish out the pieces and eat them. Overall a great experience all the way around. I'd definitely come back if we're in the area. read more

My daughter loves the boba drinks here. They offer punch cards and always have samples when you go in. Staff is friendly and they make the drinks quickly. Everything always tastes fresh. I was also proud to see this business close for social distancing. I know that's a hard hit for a business, and I will definitely be going back when they re-open to show our support for this great shop! read more

I have a new favorite, and it is DaYung's Tea. I was recommended to DaYung's, so I had to try it. My source said it was the best boba tea in Phoenix. Anyway, I stopped in and ordered a boba milk tea with 50% sugar. It was terrific. Service was fast. The drink had a very nice milky tea flavor. It was nice and cold for a hot day, but not jam-packed with ice. I definitely will be back. read more

I absolutely love this place! Right off the bat, you are greeted by their nice staff who are very helpful in not only recommending drinks but also sweetness level! Sweetness can break it or make it in these drinks, so it's great when staff are very knowledgeable how normal sweetness can vary from different types of drinks. Most importantly the drinks here are absolutely refreshing. My favorite is the pink beauty. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out! You will not be disappointed. read more

This establishment is a hot spot for fresh fruit drinks and boba. Their 4.5 stars on yelp is well deserved. All staff are always happy and super helpful. The prices are fair and cheap for the fresh drinks they make. I've tried their pink, orange, and strawberry beauty and all are just everything you'd expect and more. Light, refreshing, and a dash of acidity to make it come together. I'm personally more of a boba milk tea kind of person, but I'm not too much of a fan of their boba just because it's mini boba and they put way too much in the drink. But whenever I have a fresh fruit drink craving, DaYung's is my go-to spot. DaYung's does not disappoint! read more

Dropped by to DaYung's Tea on a Saturday around 4:00 pm and was happy to see that it wasn't crazy crowded~ Yay for beating the long lines!! Being the basic human being that I am, I just opted to grab the boba milk tea 70% sugar, less ice. Now the pricing is slightly expensive, but the portions are giant and you get a really really good amount of boba for the price that you pay. In terms of flavor, the milk tea was good and 70% sugar was definitely the way to go for me. I think the 100% may be too sweet for me on a regular basis, but hey, we all need a dessert drink sometimes~ The boba was good, but nothing too amazing because it seemed to get hard quite fast -- There was also so much boba that it was hard to drink it all before it became tough. However, I'd rather have this complaint than the "oh god why did I get so little boba?" issue. Overall, a cute place to get milk tea and there's a good amount of seating inside as well. Service is good and you can grab a stamp card for your next visit! read more

I'm not a huge boba tea drinker but wow. I got the fruit tea and it was life-changing. The prices seemed a bit high at first but you are definitely getting your money's worth. The drinks are large and have fresh fruit in them and if you get boba, they add in a lot. My friend got the pink beauty and the gel took some getting used to but it was great too. Service was also friendly and fast despite a lot of customers Very happy and will definitely be returning. read more

Great boba tea! I ordered the wintermelon tea, with boba and aiyu. Boba was perfectly cooked, and chewy! Strawberry milk tea was really tasty. The lady at the counter offered us a sample of it, along with any item we were not sure about on the menu. Great customer service. Quick turnaround, and nice place to hang out with friends. read more

Best boba in Tempe hands down! The staff are wonderful, and delightful people! Hit up the shawtys up front, single af. Other than that, green tea latte and pink beauty are my favs. The weekends get SUPER pack. Never seen a busy boba shop in the valley since the introduction of bobas. Prices are super cheap as well. The best boba shop that I've been to! I bring friends here whenever they are in the area. Atmosphere: Casual and very clean. Good for groups of friends but not so much for studying. Service: Excellent. It could get busy at times but the cashier is very efficient and tries to take orders as quickly as possible. Drinks: Fresh. SO YUMMY! I've been looking for a good boba spot since moving from California and I've finally found the spot. For me, it's tough to find a place that makes Jasmine Green Milk Tea the Taiwanese way and this tea spot is probably the best I've ever had. They mix in the right amounts of creamer, sugar, and tea. Happy to say service has improved greatly. Employees are on task and happy to answer my questions. The drinks on the seasonal menu are very good, and their classics are also great. If you're going to go soon, I'm a big fan of the Sage honey and a big fan of the cordial syrup on the 2026 Spring Menu. Will definitely be hitting Infusion up for some future study sessions. BUT you can buy a small bouquet in person for something like $12. The carrier is not included. Something to get when you are absolutely having a spoil yourself date. Also very convenient when they have their to-go window open as their full menu is also available outside as well. The next time, I had a London Fog (earl grey with almond milk) and honey which had its own unique charm to it and ordered some of their small bites which were also very delicious and creamy, just enough for satisfy that morning burn in your tummy. The last time I went (and they had remodeled and relocated to their new pink brick) I went ahead and tried their turquoise rose matcha which was also everything it's made out to be, but next time I will definitely order it COLD so I can see the color changing happening! I received a lot of good local recommendations from ASU students, including Steve's... they certainly know their coffee and yummy grub spots. When I was their age, as an undergraduate student, the most upscale coffee I enjoyed was Panera Bread (haha! that's Rhode Island for you...) and Steve's is definitely an upgrade, in terms of coffee bean quality and freshness of baked goods. As a bonus, since it's located in a fairly quiet shopping plaza, there's plenty of parking for your entire crew. If I am ever in the area again, I'll definitely swing by.

Whenever I'm in the Tempe area I always have to stop at DaYung's! It's crazy to think that this location is the first ever DaYung's in the United States and it's doing extremely well since Arizona has been lacking good boba places until recently. With their competitive pricing (most drinks are around $4) and drinks made with real fruit instead of cheap powder and jam; DaYung's takes the boba game in Arizona to a whole different level. Personally, I find the texture of their boba to be perfect. These tapioca pearls are chewy like gummy bears and don't instantly disintegrate like boba from other places in Arizona. My top 3 drinks to get here are their boba milk tea, jasmine green tea w/ boba, and strawberry fresh milk w/ boba (fair warning: the boba will harden if you leave it in this drink or any slushy like drink for too long) all 70% sugar! The ambiance here is set up equivalent to that of boba shops in California, a chill place for friends to hang out and talk while enjoying their dessert/snack. Not only does got DaYung's the go to drinks, but they have the toppings to perfectly accompany it as well. If you are new to Arizona or haven't been to here yet, definitely give it a try! read more

Let's be honest, this is one of the best boba spots on the east side of Arizona. We truly have been disappointed with their quality. It is all imported from Taiwan and it is fresh!! I love history and i love the history of every food place. Being the foodie that I am, it is important to get an amazing cup of boba before and after any flavorful asian meals. We normally grab this on the way to KBBQ. Even if it is out of our way, it does not matter. Okay, back on track. This place is busy, fast and they get the orders done! This place is a complete disappointment. I tried their grapefruit green tea with cheese topping. and it was like drinking plain water with a weird aftertaste. There was ZERO flavor--just bland and lifeless. I kept sipping, hoping it would get better, but nope. Even topping tastes no flavor. It was a waste of money and a waste of time.
