Pathetic. Today, 4:20 pm, OLCC website reports 13 bottles of a particular tequila. The two women at the counter say what they always say, 'Oh. We just sold the last one'. Their particular store is getting a negative reputation for catering to the Big Five of the tien, and not ordinary folks they don't know from grade school. So, we had friends and a neighbor ask for bourbon: Eagle Rare. ' Oh! We have it in the back!' Out she comes with a bottle. Question: what's it doing in the back? Other stores keep it on the shelf. Next jn line,, my neighbor then asked the same question, Have any Eagle Rare? Yup, she says, we have it in the back. IN THE BACK??? Wtf... This is a State run Liquor Store. NOT operated independently. So, though I am a home owner, and a resident of this small town, I do not rate.

But was greatly surprised when I walked into the store. It would give the Safeway and Fred Meyer in my hometown in Florence Oregon a run for their money. First of all the service with a cashiers, and the stockers is exquisite you ask them a question and you get a sensible, friendly helpful answer that must reflect on management. THEN the range or selection of products and the amount of organic products that included is exciting and encouraging. I got my products but then did a tour of the store and was just overly impressed. Everything you need for daily life. Do yourself a favor even if you don't need anything go visit Chester Chester's market you'll be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend shopping there or just visiting to buy snacks or things to nibble on.

I went outside, it wasn't working and looked like it hadn't worked in some time, they have a sign up describing Oregon law which states they must take up to 144 bottles. I went inside, a cashier called on the walkie talkie for someone to count bottles...waited... a manager came up, asked if we were returning bottles, called someone else over the radio, then helped the person behind us with a money order. Then she left us to wait some more, she acted like it was beneath her to return the bottles. 20 minutes later the manager stopped back through, asked if we were still waiting. Finally someone came and walked away with out bottles, didn't say anything, just took the cart and walked away. What is going on in this place?
