They want 2 days' notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment - no exceptions for emergencies. I just got charged a $115 cancellation fee after I left a voicemail canceling for an emergency. Nobody picked up after several tries and apparently nobody listened to the voicemail. That fee is the full cost of the service - not a deposit. As far as lash studios go, this is, by far, the most outrageous policy I've seen. Also, under NY law, a service provider may NOT charge the full cost of a service not provided. Businesses may only charge a percentage. I've disputed the charge. Re: the work - it's pretty good, but def not worth the cost. There are far less expensive alternatives for lashes in the city that are just as good. read more

They have the most incompetent staff here, music is so loud and they keep the place hot. You can never reach them by phone except via text, and even then, they take 48-72 hours to respond. That's disgusting. Most importantly, lashes fall off less than 2 hours after an install, and continue to fall all week. (PS- I'm VERY WELL VERSED with lashes as I've been getting dolled up for over 12 years and so I know a bad job when I see one) They have a 72 hour policy, where you can come in if you lose lashes, post appointment, but then they purposely do not respond to messages or pick up calls to schedule a return, to avoid people coming back, which makes me aware that they purposely do a bad lash job, so you can come in quicker for a refill. They do not have the skills to do 2D or 3D volume lashes and so they basically do a classic eye, but proceed to charge you for a volume. Emma, the tech I used, is rough, pokes your eyes with tweezers, and puts tape meant to keep the eyes closed during install, on the eyebrows, which hurts and rips the hairs when it's time to take off. Glue gets in the eyes and I was irritated for a week. Save your money for a spa that really knows what they're doing, there's nothing absolutely dazzling about this lash spa. If you're looking for a great lash job, go to 'She winks'. I've just added another photo from today of more lashes falling out less than 4 days after install. read more

I have been looking around for lash extensions for a while. Although I had my lashes done somewhere else, I wanted to find some place closer. I was so disappointed when I came in, because the receptionist was very stand-offish and didn't seem to like that I was coming in to just check out the place. I'd need a fill after a week of visit which was too unsustainable. After my first visit at Dazzling Lash, I knew I'd come back for the following reasons: 1). Super easy and quick to get an appointment 2). Helen, the owner is extremely sweet and knowledgeable, so is her staff 3). I was very happy with the result because it met the volume level I wanted and also it lasted for 5+ weeks before I got a fill 4). I didn't need to wait to get started and the entire appointment was 1.5hr which is a lot shorter than what I was used to 5). This review has been way overdue. I had my lashes done here around mid-late October (I know.. I really forgot about leaving my review), and I am not lying when I tell you that my lashes looked amazing even after a MONTH. Additionally, I went to get my hair done about a week and a half ago and my hairstylist said she loved my lashes... which means they still looked amazing even after all this time. I'm a full time student and work as well, so I have not gone in for refills whatsoever so this next visit will obviously have to be a brand new set of lashes. I did a brow tint and cashmere lash extension; service was $$$$. I liked the initial results. Within two weeks, my lashes looked sparse, so I returned for a 90 piece refill. When I sat down to eat at the "Black Iron Burger" next door to their location, minutes later, I had two lashes on my plate. I noticed she did not fill in the corners of my eyes (90 pieces was more than enough for a complete look). The refill was on Wednesday, and by Saturday, half of the lashes fell out.
