I've been a loyal client here for almost 2 years with Lucy, but my most recent visit was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I always get curled lashes, but this time I was given flat, uneven lashes (photo attached)that is what she put on my real lashes. Usually it was only be 3 or so as a group. I asked during the appointment if they were the same as usual because they looked different, and I was told "yes." When I got home, it was obvious they were not what I normally get. When I returned to have them removed, I was told they were "sold out" -- even though I specifically asked during the appointment and was assured otherwise. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was told I was the only person complaining and was treated rudely and dismissively. The way this was handled was unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unpleasant. After being a loyal client for years, I expected honesty and accountability, not excuses and attitude. Miss Lash has a really serene and relaxing atmosphere despite being located in one of the busiest locations in NYC. When you walk in, you get a sense of peacefulness to calm down and forget about the noisy and crowded streets. The owner was really polite and friendly to help my mom pick out the right lashes. She was super fast and efficient. My mom was so comfortable that she even fell asleep while the owner was working on her. Now it's been over 2 weeks and all her lashes are still in tact! This was my 4th and least favorite experience with eyelash extensions and my very first time visiting Miss Lash. I opted for the classic set as I am used to getting 80 lashes per eye when I go to my regular spot. I couldn't help but notice when It was done that my lashes looked as if they had maybe 60 lashes per eye rather than 80 and also the woman who did my eyelashes used way too much lash adhesive and had to fan my lashes for about 5min once they were done. Now three weeks later my real lashes have fallen out with the extensions and the remaining lashes are hurting so bad because the glue is super hard and it feels like my natural lashes are being yanked up at the roots. Its extremely painful this has never happened to me before I regret that I ever came here. read more

I wanted something dramatic and chose the 14th length but sue warned that it is very long for asian eyes. After the session was completed(~an hour), the lashes looked thin and not full to me. Sue saw that i wasn't fully happy and she explained that there are 3 thickness types of the lashes and she used the most thin on my lashes because i do have thin lashes. I asked if i could have the 2nd more thick lash, just to fill in the gaps and she was more than happy to fix my lashes to my liking at no additional cost! I went to Thailand with the lashes and they stayed on pretty well in the heat and water. Will return for a refill! read more

As far as quality of work, mine came out great, lasted pretty well and I have very sparse, thin lashes that fall off easily and they were very gentle. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm place to get quality work. I personally avoid places that do Groupon as they tend to be overcrowded and rushed (You get what you pay for). The lash lift quality was not what I expected. I've done at other places they were much better. When I came home and checked the lashes, the parts close to eyes are not lifted at all, and the edges are already fallen off. I reached out to the store and they told me to come back for redo but I'm very comfortable letting them redo my eyelashes so gave up $100. seriously the BEST lash extensions i've ever gotten!!! they were extremely welcoming and gentle, they took the time to understand what i wanted for my lashes. I got 4D extension (10-14 cat eye) for my upper lashes and for my bottom i got the j curl (9). I came in wanting an extremely dramatic look and they were able to achieve that even with my short and sparse lashes. I am so so happy with the result!! My technician took her time and made sure every single strand of my lashes look great and was so gentle with them that I slept through the entire process! this is my favorite lash salon on nyc hands down. so clean and peaceful i fall asleep every time. you don't have to be picky about which lash tech services you because they all do excellent work. one of my biggest peeves with other salons is i always felt like i could feel the glue in my day to day or get that itchy feeling but not with miss lash. you can't even see the glue after a new set. i always get so many compliments on my lashes and they can always accommodate last minute appointments. the techs work very diligently and make it look super full. love this place no wonder they have so many 5 star ratings read more
