Please read this review, and many others that are similar before doing business with D & B Concrete. Dustin was hired by my 86 year old mother to repair and refinish our driveway on March 2, 2023. The job was finished April 2nd and he was paid in full. Immediately after the job was finished, we saw discoloration in the concrete, imprints in the driveway from his equipment and cracking and chipping off the new concrete. Plus the "textured finish" that he did was inconsistent, in texture and color, and did not look good. I reached out to Dustin (April 10) via the phone and texting with photos of the problem areas. He admitted that the job was not done right, and said it looked, in his words "awful". He said he would come out and fix it. From that point forward it would take weeks for Dustin to respond to calls/texts, he would have excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't come out, but always promised that he would make it right. He finally came out a month and a half later (May 30) to look at the job himself, agreeing that it was not done right, admitted it was his fault and that it looked bad. He said he would repair the areas, and re-coat the entire driveway. A month later (June 23) he came out, alone, to try make the repairs and redo the job. After working for a couple of hours, he said he could not do the job alone and needed to wait until he had some help. A week later (June 30) he came out with a helper to make the repairs and re-coat the driveway....he did not finish the work due to the heat and claimed he would be back...that was the last we heard from him. Even after numerous calls and texts Dustin has refused to answer, and the job is not done right. As of today July 27th we have not heard from Dustin, he even left equipment and supplies here but has not come back to collect them, our job is not done and our driveway looks awful. read more

Dustin is not reliable and provides sub-standard service. He is hard to get in contact with and has failed to complete the job he started for us. We asked him to stain our concrete to match our brown/tan brick around the patio, he poorly and unevenly slopped down purple paint instead of stain. The concrete he poured leaked out from under the border and dried. I had to chisel away some but am unable to remove large chunks in some areas. The concrete has cracked and chipped and has been down for only 1 month. He cut our current patio railing to add stairs but stole the metal railing slats that he removed and has yet to return to us. The grass he removed in the area he poured our patio was then laid around the border on top of good grass and sometimes laid on top of other pieces of relocated grass. This grass was used only to hide the leaked concrete mentioned above. I have attempted to contact him via text and phone but he has failed to return any of my messages. DO NOT HIRE HIM if you value good, reliable work and craftsmanship. See pictures of his finished product. read more

Dustin and his team were fast efficient and my driveway looks amazing! I hired them on Thursday my driveway was completed by Saturday. He was the best price and offers a military discount. Bought a pool in December got to put in through January February March and finally April pool had a hole in it they came out and patched it so that's the best they could do still have not fixed the arm rail still have not finished the trim paint they keep putting me off I got one problem after another I would not recommend these people we're happy to take the 30 plus thousand dollars but not help when I needed it the installers and the instructors on how to use the pool we're the only ones that were any good the owners and people in the office only want to put me off and the project managers do not know how to talk to customers very degrading read more

1 star only because No Stars isn't allowed! Please DO NOT hire Dustin or DB Concrete for anything! We hired Dustin in January 2020 to build a 2 tier flower bed with steps, a 3 ft tall retaining wall, 2 pads and a flume. After paying 1/2 upfront for the work, Dustin disappeared for 2 weeks. When he showed up, he formed the first wall and poured the bottom half of the wall one day and the upper half the next day due to miscalculating the amount of concrete needed. Dustin came to us after the first wall and asked for more money so he could get material and hire a pump truck to finish other 2 walls and pads. We gave it to him and he disappeared again for 2 weeks. When he finally showed up again, he formed the second wall and more steps. Instead of a pump truck, he used a bobcat with a bucket to transport concrete from our driveway to the second wall thereby destroying a-lot more of our yard than necessary. When he did the 3 ft wall and pads, he used the bobcat bucket AGAIN and destroyed pretty much the whole back yard. We were given a 3 year warranty on the walls, pads and flume before he started the job. He finished March 6,2020. We now have several cracks, through from back to front, the face of the walls are pulling off and where water is leaking thru the walls,we are having calcification issues discoloring the wall. He never dug a footer or sealed the backs of any wall. When he poured the flume, Dustin informed us, after the concrete truck was in route, that we needed to pay the truck driver for the concrete because he couldn't afford to. We called and texted Dustin about the issues with the walls and he shows up, says he will fix all the issues and will be back in 2 weeks, he had a job he had to finish. 3 weeks later and no word from Dustin, we call and text him again. When he finally answered, tells us job took longer than expected and he would be here in another week. Now, 2 weeks later and still no show and no word from Dustin, he refuses to answer calls or texts! Please DO NOT be TAKEN by this man and his company like we have. His word is about as good as his warranty! DO NOT HIRE DUSTIN OR DB CONCRETE!! read more

We hired Dustin with DB Concrete to complete a patio for an event we were having. The work we received from Dustin was sub par and not anything like we spoke about nor the pictures we were shown. After not showing up the next day as promised to complete the work, he did return the following day to get his materials. He promised he would be back to "make it right" later that day. Once again no showed for 2 following appointments. He would not return our messages so we had to hire another company to remove what was left unfinished by Dustin and re-pour a patio in time for our event. read more
