We just kept it on our own table since we have people that did not make it to class. We started late-about 30 minutes and we ended late. It appeared that we were waiting on a group of about 6 ladies. It gave us time to get our wine and cheese together! The directions that show up online are incorrect. They told us to go to south 9th but the address is actually the one listed on this post. This was a grand opening so maybe that's why. Anyway, great time and I would definitely recommend it!

Um, no...we were all on time so let's get this party started. I don't really care for doing 2 different paintings in one sitting because you have half the class just sitting there waiting. I understand it gives more variety, but it just felt rushed. Overall we had a good time and we are likely to go again but I iust ask to start on time. The folks who are late can just play catch up when they decide to show. ;)

I simply told her I wanted something Broadway themed for a private event for two and she gave me 5 choices. With Les Miz being a favorite show I had to go with this one. I was very worried as hello fabric with lights and shadows and a human figure. But she walked us through each step and taught us many new techniques I've never learned before. Her studio is attached to her home but is very professional with all the tools and supplies needed. She did a great job teaching such a difficult painting and was a complete joy to be around. Two years ago I encountered this gallery and saw the exhibit, Staying Curious, by Stephen Schlegel…read more It was depicted as an event that will make your eyes smile. I didn't stay long yet I was captivated. Stephen was there and we talked briefly about his art work. He gave me some M&M candies with an imprint of his logo. 2021 I revisited this gallery and was moved by the new art work and photographs. I saw Stephen again but he looked different in his photograph. He was in military attire. As always, his sculpture beside his photograph looked playful and made the eyes smile. I talked to Toni and Shane at the front desk. The art displayed in the gallery was impressive. I liked how you could buy small pieces for affordable prices. I bought three framed photographs. Talked to a couple of people. A few children came in and told me about their favorite art pieces. One of them liked the red cardinal bird painting. His brother liked the CDs crafted into butterflies and the light bulb used to make a spider. My favorite one art pieces were the photographs I bought of the angel, the Smokey Mountains, and lightening. They were framed and matted- 3 for $10. I, also, liked the silver dragonfly and skeleton key earrings. The last items I liked were the black and white photograph of the merry go round with a menacing head poking through the trees and background by Shane and the simple portrait and sketch of a woman's face in charcoal and pencil.
