Coming here was a riot! The instructor was funny and did her own thing! I sipped on grapefruit beer attempting to paint a starry night. Okay I really didn't do the best job but I didn't care. My seat mates carefully emulated the painting a "rainbow starry night". They obviously follow the rules. For the first time, I feel like I didn't have to yay!Everyone in the class had a great time. The staff was great at giving us more paint and playing games. A fun paint night.

My wheel is not perfectly round by my experience was perfect!

I'm a huge fan the drink & draw places and have had many experiences at the many iterations. I did enjoy having a choice between canvas or wood (I chose wood, of course!) Although the wood was a small upcharge ($39 vs. $35), it gave my painting a great look that will fit in my area. Another enjoyable moment was being able to do the chalk drawing on my own instead of having an outline already in the boards. This meant that my painting was truly my own. The space was socially distanced well too! Painting with a Twist has a calendar of paintings available on the website so you can choose the day & design that you like the most. It's updated monthly so there's plenty of time to plan in advance.

Had our office Christmas Party here and had a blast! So glad our instructor tolerated us so well...we brought our own wine and cheese cake and painted our hearts out! The instructor provided superior patience, support, and humor! Would totally recommend! Even if you can't paint!

Attended a private event for work. Our instructor, Hae, was awesome! If you've done a paint & sip class before, you know how it goes. BYOB & refreshments. 2 hour class and you can always come back on free paint day to make edits to your painting! **Masks required**

They have started doing a little better about having outlet options, but mainly at those tall, long skinny tables. The ones that aren't necessarily great for working because they're so high up and can make your legs feel weird after awhile. Haha. The other semi complaint I have is that they close early. 3 pm is early when you want to try and work. Drinks are good. I don't drink a ton of coffee these days, but what I've had there was good. I get either their chai or matcha. Both of those I enjoy! I had a sandwich there recently. I wanted to roll my eyes at the price truthfully. However, when it came.. WOAH. It was GIANT. I was thoroughly impressed. It was really really good. I had to take half of it home and put it in the fridge. When I came back home hours later... it was STILL GOOD. The bread was not soggy either! That's HUGE! Ok so overall, I highly recommend this place and it's one of my go to spots.

I'd still consider going back since they're open fairly late, which I really appreciate. There's a small parking lot next to the shop, which is convenient. Overall, a fun spot for the atmosphere even if the coffee didn't quite hit for me.

Get your hands dirty and develop a new hobby!…read more This art studio and gallery offers 2D printing, painting, drawing and ceramics classes. I've taken the ceramics classes here with a focus on wheel throwing and I love it! Becca is an awesome instructor and allows the class to be free to create, but also helps to steer you in the right direction. I'll be taking the summer class here in May. I've been throwing on the wheel off and on for about 15 years now and the intermediate class offered here is perfect for shaking off the cobwebs. They do offer beginner ceramic classes if you're looking to just dip your toe into the ceramic slip. The classes are about $100 for 8- 12 weeks and the cost includes your clay. For comparison other ceramic classes can start $300! I know I'm about to blow up my own cozy quiet nook of Nashville, but if that means the community discovers and supports this arts center... I'm here for it!

Ample parking, two large classrooms. One for painting and one for clay. They offer classes several times a year, usually about 12 weeks each. A nice place to create, learn, meet, network, enhance your skills.

Branded as a "makerspace", memberships start at $150/mo and cap at $500/mo. Open 24 hours a day (to members only), this is the perfect resource for artists looking to get their business of the ground without the commitment of purchasing studio-space. The shops include screen-printing, metal work, and wood. You can use your reserved space for pretty much any type of art if you don't want your livingroom overflowing with tools and clutter. You are responsible for providing all material supplies, the equipment is the responsibility of the establishment. While some might have a hard time justifying the cost of a membership, I personally don't have the funds to purchase the equipment they allow members to use for free. For me, this is the key selling point. There is a gallery on site and a cafe which features some of the artists work on its walls. During off-hours the space can be used an event space. Scheduling and availability is all done online. All in all, it's a very straight forward agreement, and a fun space to collaborate with other artists.
