Come to realize I am the one who just hadn't seen much about them. They have been around for over five years and are a family-owned business. It was exactly what I was looking for because I wanted to avoid using any big chain store for my new sink since they just hire random contractors for the install. The owners came out for the initial estimate which involved new sink and cutting up the granite counter to make space for the new bigger sink. We were happy with the sink they offered along with the price for all the work to be done. We quickly set up the appointment. Day of install, they showed up exactly on time. They created a plastic booth enclosure to seal the sink area to minimize any dirt and dust when they cut the granite. Everything was completed within a few hours, and they know what they are doing with the plastic booth because there was very small amount of dust that we were able to quickly clean up. It has been over two months since install and everything is working great. There have been no leaks, and everything still looks new and great. I am very happy with SinkUp and wish them the best of luck.

Tub Solutions will do the later. If they give you inaccurate advice, they will deny all responsibility for "your tub." We have a cast-iron clawfoot tub that needed refinishing. Our plumber disconnected it and moved it out of the bathroom as part of a larger renovation. Tub Solutions told us that refinishing should be the last step in the process - to call them when the faucet and drain were hooked up again. The plumber wasn't sure that was a good idea, but Blaine (the owner?) told us the plumbers should stick to plumbing and that they've refinished hundreds of tubs with the fixtures on and it would be fine, so we had the plumber put the new faucet on. When Tub Solutions arrived to do the refinishing, the installer warned us that the acidic fumes from the glazing process could damage the faucet's polished brass finish. I would need to have the plumber come back and remove the fixtures and put them back on again, and we all know how much it costs to get a plumber out of bed in the morning. I called Blaine and suggested that we order an upgraded package of work, but we would ask that Tub Solutions cover the cost to remove the faucet since we would not have installed it absent Blaine's assurances. I hoped that adding the extra work and asking him to cover $100-200 would allow him to roughly break even, but Blaine called this proposal stupid and yelled at me that he "wasn't going to pay to refinish [my] tub." All I was asking was to help me fix his mistake. He never asked about the finish of my faucet, he just assumed it was chrome. People on Yelp! exaggerate about being yelled at all the time but this dude was legit yelling. I told him to take it down a notch and stop yelling at me and he suggested I find another tub refinisher. If you're reading this, I suggest you do the same. Tub Solutions employs skillful refinishers (from what I can tell), but if anything goes wrong, expect no compromise from this company.

If you…read morehave ​N​EVER called, engaged, ​h​ired, requested services,​ signed a work-order or contract and still want to be ABUSED, HARASSED and EXTORTED by a company - Rose Restoration should be your first stop! I hired a commercial general contractor (GC) and my fixed-bid contract was ONLY with the GC. The GC has freedom to hire any person to work on the project. Rose Restoration was subcontracted by my GC's vendor. Rose Restoration is claiming that the vendor that contracted them did not pay them even though we have paid 100% of what was owed to the vendor. They are claiming that there were change-orders that are pending. I asked them to present me the approved change-orders in Aug 2025 which they still haven't done. We do not pay any more than the contract states except if we receive a change order. The change order has to be approved before any work stated on the change order is performed. No change order was ever presented to us - I had not even heard of Rose Restoration till months after the project was delivered. After the project was delivered, we paid 100% of what was owed to the GC as that is our only legal touch-point. Rose Restoration has been haranguing me - who they have never met or engaged - instead of taking it up with the vendor who contracted them. Even though I did not know them and had no legal obligation to them, I tried to help them out by facilitating this issue with the GC and the vendor. If the basis ​for the dispute has been the change orders, why can't they present it even after 6 months? Just leads me to believe that this is just an attempt to EXTORT. Avoid this business like the plague - if this is how they treat people with whom they do not have a work-order or contract, I can only imagine how they treat their direct customers.

Scott Sakovich has done outstanding work the two times we've hired him to refinish damaged teak…read morefurniture. We first used him in 2021 when a 40-year old teak veneer kitchen table suffered some serious water damage when moisture from a terracotta pot seeped through the tablecloth and left a large ugly black water mark on the surface. Scott came by, evaluated the damage and how best to repair it, and subsequently took the table to his workshop. Three weeks later he returned with the table looking as good as new, with the damaged area now virtually invisible and the table top armored with a special protective coating for added protection. We have now used his services a second time to refinish a teak coffee table that had discoloration from a few water marks; again, the finished result was amazing, with the table looking brand new. Scott's prices are fair, and since he transports furniture to and from his workshop (at no additional charge), it makes the logistics a lot easier for his clients. It is obvious from the quality of his work that Scott is a consummate professional who is highly skilled and who takes obvious pride in his work. We will not hesitate to use him again should the occasion arise, and we highly recommend him to anyone needing furniture repaired or refinished.
