This place is a scam, we found this place on a magazine and on the magazine it said they do extractions for $89 and once we arrive in the front of the building they said they do extractions for $99. At the end they ended up charging $380 dollars. What price do we believe, why advertise one thing to only have the surprise of them charging more that what they advertise! Dr. Baker was an incredible dentist. I came in really apprehensive because I haven't been to the doctors in years. On top of that, I've had bad chipped and yellowed two front teeth that's been needing work. Upon consultation, I opened up about it all and he assured me that he will help me and be taken care of. One month has passed since the initial day and I'm here basking in the new found love and appreciation for my teeth that he helped fix. I swear, I wanted to just jump out of my seat and give everyone a hug. My self conscience has grown positively and I'm so grateful for their hard work, professionalism and hospitality I've received from Dr. Baker and the sweet dental hygienist Melissa, as well as Brenda in the front. I've had multiple situations happen over the years that I've been a patient with DC Dental. My experience first started at the Central and Dunlap office years ago when the office manager/chairside tech at the time got irritated with me because I had a reaction to the numbing agent they injected me with. I was having intense heart racing, trembling and shivering. When I told her of my reaction and asked if it was normal, she told me only in dramatic children and walked away. I then switched to the office on Mcdowell after this. I went to the office on Mcdowell for a while because I really loved the dentist, even though the office was out of my way to get to. The dentist then left, and the office didn't tell me when I made my appointment and scheduled me with someone else. I had been going so long, I didn't say anything and saw this dentist. He was okay, but a heads up would've been nice. The next time I made an appointment, I had an emergency situation/death I was dealing with and had to cancel the appointment I had that day. The office gave me such an issue with canceling and even told me I should've called the day before to tell them. How was I supposed to know someone was going to die the day before? They threatened me with being charged and were generally uncompassionate. The clinical director tried to fix this, but after he cleaned my teeth I never went back to this office. He even suggested that the person at the front desk was probably having a bad day. Everyone has a bad day, but why treat someone who had just lost someone with such uncompassionate behavior? I then attempted to go back to the old office on Central and Dunlap for a broken tooth earlier this year. I waited for over an hour to be seen when I had an appointment and then I waited for over an hour in my chair once I was back. The work they did can only be called rushed; I don't think this cap will last a year. Then about 2 weeks ago I receive a random text saying I owed $87 dollars to them. Naturally, I call to find out why and figure my insurance hadn't paid for the cap. The girl on the phone tells me it is a charge they uncovered from 2014 that they found during an audit and accused me of not having insurance. I did have insurance and always have! She tells me that it is my responsibility to pay my debt. The moment I start to push back a little, she gives me the number to the billing office and clinical director. I attempted to talk to the clinical director about what had happened, and instead of acknowledging what I had to say, he just passed the phone off with no word to someone in the billing office. It took days for them to research, and in the end, they found out they hadn't submitted the charge to my insurance for payment. They wrote the charge off but made it seem like they were doing me a favor by doing this. I was not just someone who went a few times to their office, I was a patient for years and years. It felt like a smack in the face for them to even try to get me to pay for a charge from 2014 randomly, and the way the situation was handled just really made me think about the other things that have occurred over the years. This business is mismanaged, rude, and really doesn't care about their patients. I will be finding another dentist, and I really urge anyone looking for a dentist to look somewhere else and avoid the same hassles that I have. read more

I went to this place because my insurance recommends me too... Never again... The first visit I sat from 10:00 am filled out all new patient paperwork in 15 mins. When I finally looked up it was 11:45 am and I still wasn't called back, The front desk lady states I was trying to figure out what charges for your benefits! I said from 10 to 11:45 to myself then she states it might be another 20 to 30 mins. I couldn't wait I reschedule for next week. I got a call yesterday saying my insurance isn't a insurance and that I wasn't assigned to their office or Doctor. I wanted to say last week Tuesday you told me something different so you lied. So in my mind, I said I not confident in this clinic cause they employed a not so bright person working the front desk. So I called back and left a voicemail I will cancel my appointment for today. The nutty front desk calls an say aren't you coming in for your appt? She say's no they didn't check the voicemail this morning. this is after 10:00 she stated when I check it an make sure you cancel in time, you won't be charged. I said why are you so backwards in your job? She got quiet and then finally hung up... When I worked for 5 years doing her same job and back office the first thing was to check the voicemail for any cancellations. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and customer service at this dental office. I came in for a root canal and they did a great job fixing me up. The staff and dentist were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had about my procedure. They were flexible and got me in for an appointment immediately. They do a great job dealing with insurance companies as well. I will be coming back for my dental needs for sure. read more

DR.Chang was amazing! I had to get an emergency extraction done he did the procedure cleanly and pain free even when he had to go back in and extract the rest of the root of the tooth. He does a highly exceptional job at running his practice keepong things in order and every patient taken care of, of course with the help of the rest of the staff. Highlight of the appointment was seeing the headphones saying "pro fo sho" definitely fits him, myself the assistant and Dr.Chang got a kick of it. I will be back thank you so much! read more

I use this office for my 12 year old son who has Autism and have never experienced any problems. They handle my son well and keep it fairly positive. The only thing that detracts is that there is always a long wait, even if you arrive early for your scheduled appointment (I always schedule the earliest appointment as well). read more

Dr zargar is amazing. This place is clean and professional. His whole staff is warm and welcoming. I have had a few things done there from cleanings to root canal. They make you feel comfortable. I never liked going to dentist till these guys. Dr Zargar will make sure your comfortable and not in pain and they play great music. They are very concerned about saving teeth not just pulling them.
