Robbie is an absolute lovely person and really took the time to see what I wanted. I was so tired of my hair and let him do his thing. My hair turned out awesome! I really appreciate the soft feminine look I came out with. Even with a 2 hour drive, I'll be back!! Much love for this team.

I…read morehadn't had anything done in like 4 years and was very nervous but excited to try something new. I chatted with Robbie and told him I was looking for natural highlights and face framing layers. The process went well until it was time to style and blow out my hair. I have thick, textured, curly hair and he first went in on my damp hair and finger combed it which was not only painful but it also made my hair super frizzy. He then was combing it with a small tooth comb which again on my texture was very painful and I could feel was ripping a lot of hair out. He then went into blow drying my hair without a brush and once again... made my hair even more frizzy. Finally he went in with a blow dryer and a brush and when I tell you this was the worst blow out I've ever gotten I mean it. My hair was still damp at the end and it was extremely frizzy! After looking in the mirror it looked okay ... I liked the cut but the highlights were brighter than I expected since I wanted warm, natural highlights. I was too embarrassed to say I didn't think they were very natural. I ended up going home and seeing myself in the mirror with better lighting and full on started bawling because it looked terrible. The highlights weren't natural at all, they were more orange than brown and very obvious stripes in my hair. There was no transition in my root and it literally was like 2000s box highlights. The color was even more orange after my first wash and again did not look natural at all. I was extremely disappointed and I felt so ugly. My hair is one of the only things I really liked about myself and I feel like it was ruined. I now have to pay double for a color correction somewhere else. The whole experience was low key traumatic because of the pain during the appointment and then the pain after because of how ugly it came out. Edit: Following my negative feedback Nick was kind enough to reach out and offer adjustments to my service which I really appreciated. Considering their consistent kindness and willingness to help, I think it's worthwhile to edit my review and add a few stars to their business. I've actually never received such accommodation and I really appreciate that.

Summary: Extremely poor quality hair services done in a fancy environment for top dollar…read more Management team, unethical, and careless towards customers. Read on. I had my hair done at the salon on July 23. The Salon is nice in terms of facilities. It's bright it looks nice, etc. The young lady who did my hair also had a very nice demeanor and asked all of the right questions in our consultation. Because she's the nicest person I experienced at that salon I will not be publishing her name (Even though she ruined my hair). That's about where the positives end. Everything else about this salon is incredibly disappointing. This post is really about the salon's response and reaction when one of their stylists ruins a customer's hair. I provided the three images of my own hair immediately after a blonding and color reset I had done in Las Vegas (back home). I explained how important it was to me that we really match exactly what I had in the images. I ended up with my hair in a completely different color family (red brown instead of neutral blonde) and all my color correction ruined. While nice in person, I believe that the "master" stylist doing my hair may have been completely inexperienced and unqualified to actually do the job. Because I chose to go with a "master" stylist this color service cost $395. When we were done, I clearly told her that we are very far off from the initial image that I provided. I told her I would give it about 24 hours to see if I can get a little bit more comfortable in the hair color I ended up with. About a day later, I called the salon in tears because I am very unhappy about my hair. I'm extra unhappy at having paid top dollar to be unhappy about my hair. The girl on the phone had very minimal empathy. The only thing she said was to write down everything into an email and that management would get back to me in 48 hours. So I did. Clearly even more upset than when I started, given the absolute carelessness I received from the front desk. The appropriate response from the salon would have been to get a manager on the phone immediately. I wrote the email. I explained the situation exactly as above, I provided my photos, And I requested solutions. One solution that I offered is that Lunatic Fringe pay for my travel and color correction again in Las Vegas. Remember reader, at this point in the customer service experience, there has been no empathy no apology and no solutions offered. In the meantime, I'm reaching back out to the salon back in Las Vegas to figure out what this would take to fix. I followed up and asked Lunatic Fringe for my formula so that the salon in Las Vegas can tell us what to do to fix it. And then I finally got the response from "management".... Management said That they will no longer engage with me because I am threatening and extorting them. This salon interprets a customer's requests to fix the situation as extortion. Customers should beware. If anything goes wrong with your "high end" (sarcasm) hair service, they will not fix it, they will have no empathy, they will not apologize and in fact, they're going to try to make their customers feel like the bad person in this situation after their customers pay them a ton of money for their mistakes. It is going to cost me time and hundreds of dollars to go back to Las Vegas to have my hair reset, again. I am frustrated and upset both at my time spent, what my hair looks like and the cost. This salon and especially its management should be ashamed of themselves. Hairstylists make mistakes every day, how a salon fixes it is truly what creates a good customer experience.

A very dimly lit, private room with four washing stations. Soft music plays and the MOST comfortable chairs that did not put a strain on my neck during the washing process. Maddie gives a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage as she gently goes through the cleansing process. I would go back for that alone. Before we began, Maddie attentively listened to what I had in mind for a new & much shorter cut & style. She made suggestions which I loved and then took meticulousl time in doing my cut. Don't let her age make you think she may not be as good as someone with more years of experience. She's probably older than she looks and very sweet. My 28 year old daughter in law recommended her & said Maddie gave her the best cut she has ever had. I'm in my 60's and have had many experiences sitting in peoples chairs and I of the same opinion. Best cut I have ever had and best overall total experience I have ever had. Can't recommend this place enough & especially Maddie as your stylist.

She went to the appointment with her grandmother as I, her father was out of town at the time. I was a little shocked and not aware she was spending this much but when she called me to pay the bill I did so without complaint. This morning, one month later I received a call from the salon letting me know that she missed an appointment this morning and I was being charged $130 for the missed appointment. Obviously, I was a little upset as I had no idea she made this appointment as today was my daughters last day of school. I asked my daughter about it and she said she kind of remembered making an appointment but didn't get any reminder and that she had no idea she would be charged if she missed the it. When I questioned the charge the woman I spoke with simply said sorry, that's our policy. Ok, I get it that's your policy. However, I have a pretty strong hunch that she was talked into (or at least highly recommended) she make a follow up appointment but I doubt it was made clear that if she missed the appointment she would be charged $130. After speaking with the salon, I called my daughters Grandmother and asked her if she remembered anything about this and she said she wasn't even aware that there was another appointment made. In addition to going to school, my daughter works 20 hours a week in an assisted living home. She's a very bright girl but still only 15 years old and I feel she was completely taken advantage of in this situation. In fact, a co-worker of mine overheard my conversation with the salon and told me she had the same thing happen to her and that this salon is notorious for this. I understand the reason for these types of policies but I would have hoped there could have been some concession made. You got my daughters last paycheck, but rest assured it's the last dime you'll get from us or anyone I know. I hope it was worth it.
