After a very frustrating experience with a manager at a nearby Verizon corporate store, the team at…read morethe Russell Cellular Verizon store at 12901 N Interstate Hwy 35 #1510 in Austin completely turned things around for us. What stood out immediately was that they actually listened. My daughter was there in person, and I was helping by phone from Florida because I am the account holder while she is a college student in Texas. Rather than shutting the conversation down, Henry and then Brandon took the time to let us fully explain what Verizon support had already told us to do and what problem we were trying to solve. That alone was a huge difference, but they did even more than that. They did not just listen, they worked the problem. Brandon went above and beyond by getting Verizon headquarters on the phone while also speaking with my daughter in person and with me by phone at the same time. He handled a complicated situation with patience, professionalism, and real problem-solving effort. It was the kind of customer service we should have received from the beginning. In the end, Henry and especially Brandon solved the problem that a manager at the nearby corporate Verizon store would not even take the time to properly hear the day before. Their willingness to listen, communicate, and stay engaged until the issue was resolved is exactly what customers hope for when they walk into a store needing help. It was honestly striking that we received better support from this Russell Cellular location than from a Verizon corporate store manager. Henry and Brandon treated us with respect, took the time to understand the situation, and followed through until the issue was resolved. If you are deciding between Verizon locations in the area, I strongly recommend going a little farther to this Russell Cellular store and asking for Henry or Brandon. They delivered the kind of service that earns trust and reflects very well on their store.

They immediately just say they can't do that because the family member that owns the account isn't here physically. They offered no solution, just rudeness and that you have to be physically with the person. I said I highly doubt that because I can't be the only person who has needed to do this? And then the manager just went on a rant about how they don't know who I am and I could be committing fraud??? Literally pointless "Verizon" store. I called Verizon Customer service and they made it so simple for me to do and my family member doesn't have to even physically be here, just as i suspected lol. Teach your employees good customer service. Because that was just disgusting.

The Apple Retail Store is always about customer experience, and principally getting customers to…read morethe right place and talking with the right agents. I also like that it is their design that customers are never separated from employees by a counter. You are always side by side, making the interaction personal by eliminating barriers. It's a subtle thing, but once you notice it and compare to other places, you can't unsee it. Furthermore, no one handling a customer disappears and goes in back, leaving the customer to stand there alone waiting. It's always a third person bringing a product out from in back to the two of you. Another subtle but important touch. My event today was picking up an ordered iMac (I had a QR code in my Apple Wallet), handing in my older iMac for a trade-in, and getting the Genius Bar (another QR code) to handle the free data transfer. The agent just inside opened the door for me, scanned my QRs, sent me and my old iMac to a back table, where someone else was expecting me. My new one was brought out, the condition of my trade-in was verified, zip-zap-done, and I'm directed to a middle table, where a Genius comes to greet me, generates a work order (another QR code I have now) for the data transfer and lets me know they'll reach out when it's done. My ONLY complaint about the Domain store is common to a lot of Domain stores. If you have anything heavy, there is literally no temporary parking out front to load. There's lots of free parking garages around, but now it's a bit of a hoof.

The Apple Domain store was filled with people yesterday, however, when I walked in an Apple Store…read morerepresentative immediately greeted me. I did not think my transaction would take long so, I parked in 15 minute parking near the store. I told the representative that I needed a charging unit for my phone along with a chord. She grabbed the two accessories in less than a minute. The only decision point was the length of the chord - 3 feet or 6 feet. I asked if the 6 feet chord was about my height. She said no taller than your height. Haha...ok you're right I'm 5'6". I paid for the two accessories and was out the store in about 5 minutes. Though the Apple Store is very busy...always, there process is super efficient. I happy to report that my phone is charging without over heating.

I'd give a zero if I could. Bought a iPhone from here that was represented as new. The iPhone…read moreneeded to be charged before using it. Once it was charged I noticed the screen wasn't as bright as it should be. Had an LCD screen vs LED screen. This iPhone comes standard with LED screen if it was actually new. On top of that the phone was to have a one year manufacturer warranty. Turns out there was no warranty and the coverage had expired per the message on the phone regarding coverage. Went to discuss with the owner. He proceeded to show me certified phones with the one year warranty and the LED screen but didn't have anything with 256gig. Each one of his certified phones did not have any warranty. And his position is I'm' stuck with it as his store was the only open store during the "Snow Emergency" as he put it. More like misrepresentation. I bought the phone and paid over $600 for it thinking it was new as I was told by the sales rep. She happened to be there when I came back...and said she did not know it was a refurbished phone...she was doing what her boss told her. Besides being misrepresentation it's fraud and I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this type of experience here. Rather then fix the problem he was adamant of his position it was during a "Snow Emergency" and feels it's legal to price gauge. Wrong buddy....I bought it as it was represented as a NEW phone; period. And if I show up 2 weeks later that does not negate the fact that he sold me a REFURBISHED phone. He knew later that day after I bought the phone when he got a call from a co-worker that referred me to him and didn't have the decency to call. And yet again when you saw me when you were visiting my co-worker and didn't say a thing. That shows his utter guilt. Even my co-worker looked at the screen and said it was an LCD and not LED...but said the guy would fix it. I was willing to be reasonable when I came in...and willing to pay a bit more than the market rate for a refurbished phone but was unwilling to discuss anything of the sort. He then had the audacity to ask me if I had the receipt then said the receipt didn't say whether the phone was new or used. I'm sure a Judge would rule that based on the evidence I was buying a new phone and the receipt would show used if he represented the phone as being used vs. new. The owner will probably laugh when he sees this review. Go ahead and laugh. You pissed on the wrong tree.

The next day I went back to the store and as I was getting out of my car, the man that sold me those items (and I am guessing he is the store owner as well) was walk my out as I was walk my in. He asked what had happened and I told him about my charger. He told me to go ahead and talk to the girl behind the counter and proceeded to leave. When I got inside, the girls phone was ringing, and it was the man I had just spoken with. He told her to tell me it was my fault that the charger wasn't working and that they would not exchange it. He said the best they could do was sell me another one for 10 dollars. It's not the money that bothers me here it's the principle. He waited to leave and call her and have her do his dirty work when he could have just told me face to face. And I would also prefer a store that takes a little better care of their customers.
