DC's on B Street has been around for 25 years, and this was our first time visiting. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated without a reservation. The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. We started with their signature crab cake, which was thin, nicely cooked, and drizzled with a flavorful bistro sauce. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value. Wonderful lunch spot near the riverwalk in downtown Pueblo. Decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather to sit outside for lunch. There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick. House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich. Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-) It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT! This is a great little spot. Try it! read more

Food was incredible! We had the fried avacados and I would come back just for those delicious little flavor bombs. I also had the pear salad which was salad perfection. For entrees we had the fish special which was halibut and Steak au Poivre. Both excellent. Vibe was immaculate and the service was above and beyond. Also, the lemon drop and espresso martinees were icing on the cake. Absolutely recommend and will be back. read more

My husband found this cozy bistro on Google maps. The decor is charming, the wait staff welcoming and the food absolutely delicious. I had the veggie sandwich and my husband had the lemon pepper chicken. Both classics but with a twist. Throw caution to the wind and order the onion rings. You'll be glad you did. They make delicious Bloody Mary's and their salads are a great portion size. We've had cocktails at night which were all masterfully crafted. We're lucky to have them around! read more

Oh my goodness! If you're on the fence about where to eat in Pueblo, just put your brain in "Park" and get over to this place! It's cozy, SUPER friendly and one of the BEST dinners I've ever had in a restaurant. We started off with the baked Brie appetizer. Presentation was stunning! The Brie was warm with a great accompaniment of sliced strawberries, apple, some dried cranberries, a little red onion and some crostini. The Brie just oozed onto that bread like silk! Delicious! I ordered the lamb chops while my wife had the salmon with creamy caper sauce. Both dishes, again come beautifully presented. I had the lamb prepared to chef's preference (best way to order them) and they came out a perfect medium-rare and seasoned just right. You don't even need a knife to cut them; incredibly tender. The grilled vegetables were also a wonderful addition to the plate. Asparagus, potatoes, squash, brussel sprouts, and others were excellent with this dish. Her salmon was also an excellent choice. It was perfectly cooked and flaked apart with ease. The creamy caper sauce was rich and velvety. Pasta was tender and plentiful. If you (waddle) walk away hungry from this dish, you need help. We were offered dessert, but there's no way we could push ourselves any further - even though they are baked fresh every day. Maybe on our return trip .... and there WILL be a return trip. Again, the service is top-drawer and prices are quite reasonable given the extraordinary delights coming from that kitchen. read more

Traveled through and stopped in town for the weekend, got lucky and found this place! Sarah the General Manager was amazing, the service was stellar! Laid back easy going vibes while still retaining a very classy and vintage approach to dining. Ordered the crab cakes along with the crab claw appetizer and they were the both incredible. The main courses were both perfectly cooked and the quality blew us away. Both desserts followed suit in quality and perfect portion size. Allowed us to try all of the various dishes while still leaving full! Exactly what I would be looking for in a unique fine dinning experience. Will be coming back just for this place! read more

4.5 stars. If you ever want to get full just by the decor and ambience of a restaurant, look no further! DC's is the cutest restaurant I have ever been too. It reminds you of an old english study/common room (esp after having watched Bridgerton the weekend before :)). There is an old charm rustic feel to it with each table being set up as one with a study lamp, few old book and cutes tiny salt-pepper shakers ever! The walls are adorned with old books, vases, a french horn contraption, etc. There are dining rooms separated by wooder flap doors. There is just an overload of character and you really should take everything in. I did, after having the menu in front of me for a while :) The service is excellent. Because they are limiting seating, the servers are able to spend the required time explaining menu items or just chitchatting. The owner greeted us too, saying it was the first time in 2 months anyone had sat on this table (sweet and sad at the same time). We started out with the wines - I got the reisling, then the chardonnay. My friend got the moscato and my brother got one of the reds (sorry don't remember which!). I personally liked the chardonnay (california) more than the reisling (germany) which was a little sweeter than I expected even for reisling. Ok, now to the food - EVERYTHING looked delicious! We got three appetizers - the crab cakes, fried avocados and spicy shrimp. The plating was beautiful. I loved the crab cakes then spicy shrimp then fried avocado. But that's me being partial to crab cakes. Unbiased, I would say the spicy shrimp was the best of the 3. Amongst the 3 of us, we licked the appetizers, sauce and the accompanying salad bits off the plates, that's how tasty it all was! For the main course, I got the house special with was a salmon with pesto sauce, risotto and veggies, my friend got the chicken picata and my brother got the steak. The picata was the best of the 3 I think - not dry, the sauce seeping into the chicken and the accompanying pasta simply delicious. The steak was pretty decent. For me, the pesto and risotto were delicious but I thought the fish was a bit bland for my taste. Finally for dessert, we got the chocolate lava brownie (? cake) and the peppermint coconut cheesecake. The lava did not lava out as expected but the chocolate was really good. The peppermint coconut and cheese was a really great mixture but I would've loved more peppermint (I'm a peppermint fanatic, could eat toothpaste all day). They are a bit pricier than the usual lot of restaurants in Pueblo, but I see why and I'm happy to pay. Honestly, I would've given it 5 stars had it not been the salmon and the desire for more peppermint. But these guys are awesome and I would recommend them over and over again. Very inexperienced waitstaff and manager for a 5 star restaurant. When nearly done with our dinner, Waitstaff approached our table and informed us we were to leave our table in 10 minutes for another party coming in as we were paying our bill and leaving a very generous tip. We were finishing our dessert and wine and we were shocked to be told we had to be done in 10 minutes!! This was at 7:15. Our reservation started at 5:30. Restaurant closes at 8. I've been in a lot of 5 star restaurants and NEVER have I been asked to leave my table before I was finished. Kind of ruined the evening honestly. Talked to Sarah the manager about it and she said we should have been told at the time the reservation was made and confirmed. We were not. She was rude and hurriedly getting our table ready for the next guests. Disappointing for such a special night that we had planned on for three months. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are hoping for a leisurely, comfortable, long evening of celebration. For the price, that should be the expectation of any guest. read more

Overall, we had a nice meal on Saturday night. We made a reservation for 7:30PM and we were a bit surprised at how quiet the restaurant was for a Saturday night at 7:30 PM. We were seated at a nice table of two at the rear of the restaurant. Our server was a young lady with a good deal of enthusiasm. We started with a couple of cocktails. In retrospect we should have asked about the gin in the martinis, in that that wound up not being a good choice. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. The appetizer (brie) was quite nice. The salmon and pasta dish was fine, although somewhat uninspiring, but the dinner salad with walnuts, strawberries and beef medallions was really quite good. Great service. Quiet location. Food was spectacular. Nice customer service they didn't interrupt us too much and checked on us when necessary. The food was so flavorful and rich. For two people split a plate and it was pretty expensive at $68 food was really good though. It's a really small space though so not great to bring children or babies. We did have to wait a long time before we got our check even after being asked that we were done. We had to go up for the check asking for it. Their hours are also pretty slim. But if you want an expensive quiet meal a good place to go to. It's good food. read more

Like to go there for the ambiance both inside and out and the fact that the food is good is a plus too. The problem I have is the management. I've requested IPA beer three times and the last time she as much as told me it ain't gonna happen. I have a restaurant myself where we gladly lay in whatever the customer wants when they come but she seemed to take it as a matter of pride that will not happen there. The final touch was when she delivered my food she had her back to me talking to the next table and sat my food on the far end of the table. I think she had to prove who was in charge. If you want to go to an over priced boujee restaurant with a bunch of people who look down on other people then you come to the right spot the wine taste like toe jam and the food sucks too.
