Actually just discovered this area/alley as I was exploring Pueblo. Didn't stop and eat or drink. I came to go fishing! I'll be back for sure. What a cool and interesting place.......

Strawberry Walnut Salad!!!

The service, location and quality of food are amazing! The ambiance of the patio at Sunset is breathtaking!

Brie Cheese. Had apple slices, bread, strawberries, red onion, cranberries, walnuts.

Best surf and turf I've had in a LONG time. We had the Triple Plate (steak, lobster tail, and crab cakes). The Brie Cheese for appetizer was very tasty. The homemade apple pie with vanilla ice cream was a great way to finish the meal.

Salmon and capers. Rich and wonderful!

Oh my goodness! If you're on the fence about where to eat in Pueblo, just put your brain in "Park" and get over to this place! It's cozy, SUPER friendly and one of the BEST dinners I've ever had in a restaurant. We started off with the baked Brie appetizer. Presentation was stunning! The Brie was warm with a great accompaniment of sliced strawberries, apple, some dried cranberries, a little red onion and some crostini. The Brie just oozed onto that bread like silk! Delicious! I ordered the lamb chops while my wife had the salmon with creamy caper sauce. Both dishes, again come beautifully presented. I had the lamb prepared to chef's preference (best way to order them) and they came out a perfect medium-rare and seasoned just right. You don't even need a knife to cut them; incredibly tender. The grilled vegetables were also a wonderful addition to the plate. Asparagus, potatoes, squash, brussel sprouts, and others were excellent with this dish. Her salmon was also an excellent choice. It was perfectly cooked and flaked apart with ease. The creamy caper sauce was rich and velvety. Pasta was tender and plentiful. If you (waddle) walk away hungry from this dish, you need help. We were offered dessert, but there's no way we could push ourselves any further - even though they are baked fresh every day. Maybe on our return trip .... and there WILL be a return trip. Again, the service is top-drawer and prices are quite reasonable given the extraordinary delights coming from that kitchen.

Crab cake & Crab claw appetizer

Traveled through and stopped in town for the weekend, got lucky and found this place! Sarah the General Manager was amazing, the service was stellar! Laid back easy going vibes while still retaining a very classy and vintage approach to dining. Ordered the crab cakes along with the crab claw appetizer and they were the both incredible. The main courses were both perfectly cooked and the quality blew us away. Both desserts followed suit in quality and perfect portion size. Allowed us to try all of the various dishes while still leaving full! Exactly what I would be looking for in a unique fine dinning experience. Will be coming back just for this place!

Small, beautiful setting and attentive service. The chicken and salmon piccata were both outstanding.

The service was wonderful and the attention to detail was remarkable. Th staff had up on the back patio. It was covered and there were heaters. They checked on us to make sure we were comfortable or if adjustments needed to be made. Would definitely recommend and look forward to the opportunity when we can return. Well done.

Service was outstanding, it felt like a choreography with how well our server took care of us. The space itself is part restaurant, part bar, with that odd almost-purple lighting that every spot for locals seems to emit. It's a bit noisy inside as a result, but it is what it is I suppose. The burrata starter was delicious. The burrata itself was so fresh, and the accoutrement were similarly tasty. For mains, the insalata with octopus and shrimp was really good, packed with seafood and balanced with citrus from a light dressing. The ravioli pueblo was interesting. The chile in the sauce was a really nice touch, adding some interesting spice to the dish. The sauce itself was very thick, the heaviness took away from the dish a tiny bit. But all in all, a great sit down meal in Pueblo!

The first time I was there was many years ago, when the warm fireplace with couches was a centerpiece and memorable. It's upstairs, off the street, windows looking out. I finally made it back with a friend, and we had a great time; however, as John C. said in his comments, I can relate to the (still current) problems they seem to be facing with only one employee available, and no one to make the cheese fondue we were looking forward to. We settled for a cheese and hummus & olive plates, which were good, just not what we wanted. I do not recall the fireplace going. There were a couple of other parties seated at tables, and it seemed as though our server was a bit overwhelmed. He did know about the wine, which we appreciated. I do not wish to write off this special place and am hopeful they will make improvements based on reviews like this one.

Now unfortunately I don't have a ton to say. My friend and I stopped in to grab a glass of wine…read morebefore a play. We got there right when they opened so we had the place to ourselves. It was pretty magical since it was absolutely adorable in there. There were two staff members who were so cool. One (of course I don't remember the name because I'm the WORST with names) was so friendly and talked to us for a while. They made some recommendations, chatted for a little, and really made out short time there really lovely. 100% will be back for dessert and a glass of wine.

I wish I could give this place five stars but the end of the night has me frustrated which is why…read moreit's four. I'll start with the positive. The food is fantastic. Steak bites, truffle fries, brownie skillet... I want to come back just to try more food alone. This was insane and the pricing was good, the value was good, and I even ordered truffle fries to go because I loved it so much! What is super fun is that they now have wine tastings on Tuesdays and it is a great deal. $12 for four wines. Someone tells you about each wine and it's a great way to sample a bunch of wines, both local and not. I was super excited about that! I will again, come back to do that! Lots of positives there. And our server was very sweet. She was checking in and making sure we were doing well. I wish I knew her name but sadly I don't. But she was so kind and had a great personality. And everything came out fast! The vibes are also good. I love the outdoor seating/patio options for a hot summer night. And it was very lush. It's funny because I had never heard of this place before but it is in a fantastic area near Night Ramen and Provision Bakery (two amazing spots). Breakfast at Provision, apps and drinks at My Cellar Wine Bar, and maybe a dinner at Night Ramen. Haha! Just kidding, but again, great spot. Here's where I have issues. I worked in the restaurant industry for six years. I understand staying over close and even coming in close to close is a no no (at least for me). But we arrived at 7:30 pm and stayed until 9:45 pm. One of my best friends is getting married so she wanted to show us her dress and share her excitement. At 9 pm (note they close at 10 pm), they turned on the lights, began sweeping, closed the kitchen, and even at one point blasted music. We asked the waitress when they closed the wine bar. 10 pm. But what frustrated me the most is that the manager (I assume) came over and was acting extremely condescending. "I know you girls are having such a good time!!" And was trying to usher us out. Girl. You don't close until 10 pm. It's 9:45. If you didn't want us to stay, then maybe change the hours. I don't care if we are the only ones there. It was extremely rude and the way she said it felt, as I said, condescending. Like we were young and dumb or something. As a diner, I expect great service. Which we got for the most part. But to kick us out before it closes is unprofessional and frustrating. Of course we left, but god forbid a girl get excited about her wedding and wants to share all about it. This left a sour taste in my mouth and again, if you wanted to close early, maybe don't tell patrons the actual time you close: 10 pm. We bought a lot and a bottle of wine. Let us finish our glasses and I promise we will leave before close. I would still come back, but maybe I'll go to Vine and Wheel or another wine bar first.
