They sandwiched this shop in next to Lakeville Liquor and while it's convenient to I-35 travelers, I can only imagine what it's like on a day not so close to the holidays! There was a line about 5 cars deep in the drive through. We went inside and it seemed chaotic. There are a handful of places to sit. We got ours to go. Our guy ringing us up seemed flustered. When we finally ordered and paid we waited for our coffee. We weren't offered cream and there wasn't any at the counter, only sugar packets. I had to go back and request some for my husband. There was a poor gal holding a squirmy impatient child only to have her drink apparently taken by someone else. Donuts were decent and coffee satisfying. I liked my snowflake sprinkles! They had a large selection of fresh donuts here but i see that they run out later in the day. I will have to go back to try more donuts and maybe some ice cream. Donuts are always good, no question. Customer service is horrible. I bought 1 dozen mixed donuts and 2 specialty donuts. Left the store and noticed I didn't receive my apple fritters. I tried calling several times and didn't get a answer. Went back several days later, and my husband told the the person in the drive thru what happened. Basically got interrogated and was told his wife had to call back and talk to a manager, that they just couldn't give him the donuts. My husband told them I had talked to a manager when in reality I didn't. He had misunderstood me when I told him no one answered. This DD location is pretty new, and definitely still in the process of getting the kinks out. I visited with my two preschoolers on a saturday morning and was frustrated by the set up and the service. The Service: They had a lot of people working, but not a lot of people working fast. I had to give my order 4x before the worker got it right (2 donuts, 25 donut holes - mixed between 4 flavors). The donuts are good! Favorites are the blueberry and plain glazed. The Set-up: First, there are very few tables. Maybe most mornings that doesn't matter, but on a weekend with a lot of bleary eyed parents being dragged by their ravenous kids - tables are key. Second, there's only one door that immediately faces the donut counter. Whoever designed the building wasn't thinking of a busy day and traffic through the store. Once you grab your donuts and coffee, you have to go around the tables, then cut through the throng of people waiting for donuts to get out. There's a giant glass wall where another door could have gone to prevent this. I don't get it. All in all, it's decent. If you have kids and there's a big line - stick to the drive through or you may end up without a seat. read more

They have none of the flavors Baskin is known for - pistachio, Java, black walnut or coconut - and they don't have 31 flavors. The milkshake was terrible- very runny and barely any strawberry flavor plus it seemed like the milk was on the verge of going sour. My husband got sick afterwards so I'm guessing that was it! Horrible customer service and not the first time! Today our drink was incorrect, we asked for half and half creamer and they gave us half and half reg/decaf coffee. My fiancé went back in and they were arguing with her that they did it right and that when you say half and half thats what it is. Regardless, no need to argue and basically yell at someone trying to get their right order. I called to get the managers name on staff for corporate and then they argued with me and wouldn't give it out. The GM or franchise owner needs to teach their staff what customer service is. If I could give this location zero stars I would! I love Dunkin' Donuts but I HATE this location. The staff is very RUDE! Every time I have been there the employees give me attitude. Once I asked if I could do two separate transactions and they were very rude about the answer. I was there today and payed with a $100 bill because it was the only thing in my purse, and the employee accused me of it being fake and couldn't take it. It was just an old bill and I paid for clothes later and they did the marker to prove it was real. I also just got it from the bank. I also got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and they forgot the bacon and it was the grossest thing ever! I love Duncan so I am disappointed that the closest location always leaves me very angry. Management needs to be improved! I would drive to the Eagan location, which is awesome, over this location any day! Update: I was there yesterday and decided to go into the store to order because the drive through is way too long. As I was in there I noticed one worker wearing his mask properly, one had it below her chin making it useless, and one didn't have one at all. Customer service at the Lakeville Dunkin Donut establishment is terrible, I'm not talking about them been under staff. If you dare to ask for service after waiting for awhile without recognition standing at the counter, how dare you ask to be help. Some of staff are just aggressively rude with a don't care attitude how they speak to you. Don't even bother asking to speak to a manager, they'll give you the run around, and even give out some made up fictitious numbers of someone else, that has nothing to do with the establishment. My experience was demeaning, I would never wish this on any customer. Oh by the way don't bother reaching out to the corporate office, they'll pretend to listen to your complaint, and go as far as getting your contact information, giving you a case number telling you they'll be in touch and that will be the end of that, you'll never hear from them again. Shout out to Jessica at this location! My mom and I stopped by today because my dad is OBSESSED with chocolate chip ice cream from Baskin Robbins (will literally only eat their brand! ... very picky). We live in Eagan, but that location was closed so we travelled to the Lakeville location. Once we entered we were greeted immediately. Jessica approached us and asked if we had any questions, which we did not - we knew what we came for and we were on a mission, but she let us know they just got in some Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream from their delivery that day and immediately I was sold. Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, yes please! I just want to say thank you to the team working at this location. From what I observed everyone had great customer service and they all had a "sense of urgency" if you will. First off, I understand this is a newer location and we're in the start of a pandemic so I'm grateful they are open during these times. My boyfriend never had Dunkin before and his face lit up when I asked if he wanted to try as there's now a location close to us. Dunkin is my favorite and I am so happy to share the love I have for the company. Now, I'm not disappointed in the those who served us through the drive thru but in the lack of management and continuation of training. You can clearly tell that there is a lack of support when it's needed most. My order was incorrect and paid more than what I recieved even though the item stickers specify what is wanted. Paid for a medium frozen chocolate with whip, got a small with no whip and the wrong syrup. You can tell the CO2 cartridge was at the end with the lack of whip on our frozen matcha latte which there was barely any on the drink. I wasn't given the whole order (missing donuts) so I had to go back in line again just to have to repeat myself both times in the drive thru all together 6 times. I'm not kidding. I didn't go in because I didn't think that was allowed with COVID19 even though as we left we saw some enter and I'm not risking it even more. It'll be a while until we come back in hopes the ratings are better if the franchise owner reads what we have to say. I've been a barista and would be embarrassed to show such lack of pride and effort. These are difficult times and customers are the reason the lights are on...some reasonable level of service is needed even on a bad day. My solution is that the owner takes better care of their employees with training and improving their skills. If you are going to invest into a franchise, why drop the ball in the lack of investment with it's employees. They are the face of the business and deserve the support to be the best in their job. They messed up my coffee order. I went back in nicely to just let them know that half and half is a creamer and not half decaf half regular. I have never heard of someone making their coffee half decalf, half regular. Anyway, the manager said "it's not our fault you should have let us know." Well, I assume because you are a coffee shop you will know what a customer means by half and half. Anyway, I didn't say anything to her when she responded to me that way, I just asked if she can remake it. After remaking it she shoves it on the other side without informing me, and no straw. I had to lean over and grab the straw- the way they had the area set up for covid-19 it was hard to reach the straw. After telling my husband what the manager said he was a little upset with the rude service and called the store to grab the managers name. She refused to give her name and said she's not going to give her name unless we tell her what's the problem. We said nicely that we had a poor service and would like to report it which is why we wanted the name, she said "I'm not going to give you the name,is it because of the coffee." We said yes and then we said don't worry we will reach out to corporate I'm sure they can figure who the manager on staff was on 04/26/20. It was a Hispanic woman. Very poor service! I work in retail as well and I know what accountability means. If someone is asking for the managers name and you know you didn't do anything wrong why not give out the name? This place is horrible and very dirty! My son and I came in for coffee and a young boy was having trouble with a faucet and my son tried to help him. While he was in the back he said it was filthy with mold around the coffee equipment!!!! There was no manager and very disorganized. The young man said the owner was horrible and worked kids who were 15 more than the law permits! He said even when he told them it was too many hours they still put him on the schedule! Very disappointed in the customer service, I went through the drive thru and asked the lady if I could have a moment because my sister was still trying to decide what she wanted. She says okay then comes back on the speaker 10 seconds later and says "what do you want lady" in a rude, rushed tone. There was nobody behind us and the store was empty. This is absolutely ridiculous! I love dunkin' I actually prefer it more than Starbucks AND caribou however I strongly dislike the Lakeville location. My younger sister had spent the entire day BEGGING to go and get an iced caramel latte. Usually we make the drive to the Eagan location because it is closer but they were paving their drive thru so unfortunately, we had to take a 25 minute drive to the Lakeville location. We ordered FOUR iced caramel lattes and THREE of them came out tasting like CRAP. I ended up have to turn back around and drive BACK to the location because they weren't drinkable, I get to the drive thru and ask them if they can remake them because it tastes like absolutely no caramel in them. The worker proceeded to tell me that they were made correctly and that that she could add more caramel if we felt it was necessary, which surprised me because they would have to bring the cups back through the window and into the store DURING A GOBAL PANDEMIC. After politely asking them to remake TWO and add more caramel into ONE, they did with an attitude. We then pulled over to try the three new coffees they still tasted like CRAP. I wasn't willing to go back through the drive thru since it was gonna take more time out of my day! I then called the manager and she was a nightmare! she gave me TWO free drinks for tomorrow afternoon but frankly I don't even know if its worth the drive! beyond disappointed with the service and safety precautions they are taking during this pandemic! this is completely unacceptable. read more
