There are coffee shops and there's DD cafe. Never judge a book by its cover. It looks like just a hole in a wall. Part the beaded curtains however to reveal the interior and you know you've come to the right place. The staff as expected lives up to expectations. Almost without exception you will have no complaints. This all comes with a price, cheaper coffee could be had elsewhere but you do get what you pay for. The ice coffee here is good if you like it sweet. They also serve food and smoothies if you're interested. The experience at DD's can be, and is surreal for me. I'm sure it's similar for most first timers, establishments like this don't exist where I'm from. I sure hope the patrons at DD's will take care to ensure they stay open for a while. This place is so packed that they have implemented a new rule to get rid of the rift and non-spenders. Must by a bottle service which cost over $100 to stay. I can see that it makes some sense from a business perspective with the awesome staff. Just not a very nice rule. read more

Girls are arrogant with "entitled" attitudes and demand "tips" which violates the norms and standards of the industry. Food portions are tiny and prices too high essentially a scam (rip-off) and take too long to come to your table. Place is mismanaged with incompetent ownership. What happens when you let a teenage run the place and prostitutes running the tables. read more

Good spot to watch a game or catch up on some work! Indoor dining was closed at the Cafe near by so I decided to stop by here since it was open late. The inside layout is nicer than most of the bikini coffee shops around. Girls were nice too and are attentive to make sure you were attended too. Coffee was 3.5/5. I visited DD Cafe when they opened 7am. I am no stranger to these VCS style coffee shops. This is a guys place. Most likely someone will be smoking indoors. There was one gal waiting tables and seemed like she already had a generous benefactor. Later around 8 a few more girls showed up. The quality of the women here are top notch. Yes they will make the rounds showing the goods. Dances are performed in public. But all in all great place to chill, and do some work. Prefer if I had a visit or two by the waitresses which seems standard when it is slow. I tend not to like the busier shops, this one was on the smaller side. Like Venuz Cafe in anaheim. I would go again and this place seems smaller and friendier than others. My experiance in the morning may not be typical. Coffee: Was good, pretty standard fair. I really like just the plain Vienamese Iced Coffee. Note they almost always serve you iced tea as well so the gals have a reason to make a visit. Tips: park in the back the front lot has limited spaces. This is cash only place but I remember they have a ATM inside which I've not seen in many of these VCS. read more
