    For my cold.
    My W.

I was soooo sick I couldn't eat anything... seriously, not even my favorite comfort foods. Then I got Jamba Juice, and somehow this magical smoothie was the only thing I could keep down. I swear, it saved my life that day. If Jamba Juice were a person, I'd marry it, adopt it, and name my first child after it. I am actually able to be alive and writing this here post because of it. Thank you, Jamba. I was losing faith and you lifted me up and cured me.

Website pricing for large $8.39 (March 2026)

This Jamba Juice location is in the Callens Corner shopping center. It faces Ellis (not Brookhurst), behind Starbucks. Yesterday, I stopped by to get my usual go to drink, which is a large Mango-A-Go-Go smoothie. I am not sure if the employee had a bad or off day, but she was so unfriendly. She did not greet me as I entered. At first, I didn't think much of it because she was helping another customer. However, as I stood waiting to order, she passed me twice going to the kitchen and didn't even acknowledge me. Her demeanor did not change by the time she took my order. Aside from this, I usually share a large so I requested it to be split in two cups. When she finished making my drink, I noticed that both cups were not filled to the level I normally get. Also, the smoothie was thin and liquidy and had no fruit flavor. Overall, it was a three strikes experience: (1) poor customer service, (2) quantity: less than expected portion amount, and (3) quality: bland taste. Lastly, there is a slight difference with their in store/app pricing ($8.99) vs their website ($8.39) for a large Mango-A-Go-Go . Also, keep in mind a 3% service fee is added to all online orders.

Strawberry Surf Rider (Front) & Strawberries Wild (Back)

Back again at another Jamba Juice for our favorite smoothie! My boyfriend and I got a Large Strawberry Surf Rider and split it into two cups. It was enough for us both! We like sour smoothies and this had a great balance of tangy and sweet to it. I'm not sure if their AC unit was broken, but the fans blowing in there was not working well at all LOL Very humid and almost had to step outside while waiting for our drinks.

Great service, food, and beverages plus super easy pick up with the app plus a cute inspirational message on my to go bag. How did they know I needed to be lied to today? Lol j/k Also highly recommended the new mozzarella thingies - yum!

    Half full açaí bowl

I normally don't have an issue with my order here. I ordered ahead of time and it wasn't ready when I got there, which I totally understand since it was busy. The guy acknowledged I had an açaí bowl and told me it will be ready in a few minutes. I waited almost 20 minutes because I thought they were really busy. I went up and it had been sitting in the ice well. I told the girl who handed me the bowl that I had been waiting 20 minutes and she just looked at me and walked away. I'm not a person to really care to wait if a place is busy, I get it. But to wait for 20 minutes to get a bowl that is less than half full is very frustrating, especially for how expensive they are.

May I get some lemonade with my ice, please?
    Ananda S.

A little lemonade with my ice, please?? Made a mistake, thinking that I was in juice. It up, ordered a lava flow instead of correcting me to her lava and decided to make me lemonade. Whatever spend seven bucks for a drink I don't even want, but that was my fault but when I notice I took one step and I was already a third of the way done with my drink not cool.... Next time I'll just light my money on fire this way I don't have to leave the house.

New girl is inside working along while she just chills in her car.

Idk who is running this place, but some type of supervisor or manager is needed. That asian girl with the red hair who drives a Tesla doesn't seem like a good employee. Two stars for Crystal, she was very sweet and obviously new since she didn't have an employee log in yet for the pos. Left on her own. It wasn't busy, but she could probably use some actual support and training. While I was waiting for my order, the red head storms in (from sitting out front in her Tesla just chillin) and ask Crystal with a rude tone, " why did you use my code??" Like huh?? Are you high??? She needed to ring me up and nobody else is in the store. How awful it must be to work with some ratchet, low IQ, trash who can't even handle working at Jamba Juice. Had to go to autozone next door and when I came back to my car, the red head was back in the Tesla. What a bad look for the store and company.

The service I recieved on a Tuesday 3pm time was amazing. It was not crowded. The woman, with hence the really nice eye brows did her thing. She helped me and made my second break from work worth driving out of to get some drinks really worth it. It's people like her that we need more of. Amazing!

I ordered the Acai Berry Boost which has acai, pomegranate, banana, blueberries and strawberries. I got half sweet, since all of the ingredients are sweet on their own along with whey protein. I am a huge fan of this drink - but I love anything with acai! This was blended well and you can truly taste all the different ingredients in each sip. It is not watery at all and definitely cold when you get it! My partner got the Detox Island Green Veggie Smoothie which consists of spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana and fresh ginger. This is a great smoothie to get when you need a detox. I love how smoothly everything is blended and it tastes like health in a cup. Also got this with whey protein which makes it more filling. Overall a great experience at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Definitely an older building, so it might need a revamp. It does the trick - quick drive-thru, good smoothies and good customer service!

I think, I want a MASSIVE PORTION of fruit and protein, and I want it fast. An energy boost that says "yeah I eat fruits and consider myself an average produce consumer" Would it help me out more if I ate fruits whole more regularly? Sure. Would I probably benefit to consume more Vitamin filled produce. Sure again. This place makes it that much easier to consume massive amounts of necessary nutrients, for a relatively affordable price. Sub 10 bucks? Yessir have I EVER had a smoothie that was tropically spectacular? No, not yet. But is this a fix that works for what I need for now? Most definitely This gets a 3 star cuz honestly This is a place. And it has smoothie. Just matter of fact. Is it anything special? I wouldn't say so, but it gets the job done. Im content with that.

I noticed they updated the recipe for the Berry Bonanza smoothie to include dates and flax seeds. Honestly, it's such a fantastic upgrade. Berries can be hit-or-miss with how sour they are depending on the season, but the dates add the perfect amount of natural, whole-food sweetness to balance it out without needing added syrups. Plus, the flax adds a great nutritional boost. Love that they are constantly improving their menu. The staff here are very friendly, too. Highly recommend!

The man working directly with preparing the food was the one who stated there were cashews in the dressing so I was inclined to trust his call, but seeing you say there isn't any nuts in it leaves me with little confidence on what the actual answer is. I have zero issues with the fact this is not an allergen free kitchen but I still think items should be properly noted/staff should be educated on what things do *directly* contain allergens. Original Review: Was excited to try Jan's after hearing so much rave about them. Tried their chicken caesar wrap today. Those with nut allergies beware, the caesar dressing has cashews. I feel like this should be obnoxiously labeled everywhere. Most people will not think to even ask about nuts in a caesar salad/dressing and tree nut allergies are one of the most common. I almost didn't ask myself but at the last second choose to because these health bar places sure love to hide nuts in the randomest things Perfect example of today. Considering it isn't labeled on the advertisement or menu anywhere, it should be confident knowledge amongst your staff at least. The cashier said she didn't think there was any nuts and listed all the ingredients in the wrap but luckily double checked with the kitchen staff and confirmed the cashews in the dressing (which is mixed into the wrap + on the side) I was able to swap out the dressing. Then I proceeded to stand by and wait for 20+ minutes because I made the mistake of telling her to put it in a togo box so it'd be easier for me to pack up if needed. Apparently if you request a togo container rather than dine in, everyone in the kitchen automatically assumes you're just a delivery app/online order and they place it off the side instead of calling out your name like they should do with all orders. I stood there for over 20 minutes (with the cashier walking by noticing me and not acknowledging my wait) until I saw a couple who came in AFTER me get their order literally dropped off to them. Then I asked the cashier to check on my order because at this point, I assumed they forgot it. But nope, it was just sitting off to the side with 3 other orders because no one decided to call it out like they did with several orders before mine? My order was a single wrap, I felt like the cashier should've at least considered that I had been standing in front of her for a long time for one single item and taken the initiative to check on it or something. I imagine this is a common place for many folks to stop by in hopes of a quick lunch, during a work break, or with the fair expectation that they shouldn't be waiting as long (if not longer) than a sit down full service restaurant. I luckily came early enough otherwise I would've been way late for my doctors appointment waiting for my single wrap. The prices here are not cheap and while I don't mind paying a higher price for quality food, quality service should be apart of that experience. The wrap was enjoyable even with the swapped out dressing but the overall experience left me unsure if I'd be willing to come back. It all felt extremely disorganized and careless.

This place is located in a very busy strip mall. The parking is plentiful. Once you walk in you are greeted. In front at the counter you will find a menu with an array of drink options. The staff was eager to help and take the order. I just needed a few minutes to decide what stuck out to me flavor wise. Although a lot of the drinks sounded soooooo delicious I went for, The Tumeric. This drink is a plant-based smoothie. It contains tumeric, pineapple, arrow, banana, apple and ginger. The drink was handed to me in a couple of minutes. The drink was pretty in color. A sherbet kind of color, that screamed it's still summer! Anyway the drink was very good! I wouldn't have mind a little more ginger but still a very flavorful drink. The store offers snacks and alsohas some seating inside. The store is small in size but is clean. The staff is friendly and quick with the orders. I would order again from Juice It Up, whether from this location or another.

I have four Sunkist orange trees and a large blood orange tree that has produced hundreds of oranges every year for nearly 20 years. I know what fresh-squeezed orange juice tastes like. Before ordering, I called and specifically asked whether the orange juice was made by squeezing fresh oranges. A man who sounded like a manager said yes. Because I wanted to be absolutely certain, I had my husband ask again when he went to pick up the order. He even had me speak directly with an employee, who again confirmed that the OJ was from fresh oranges. I reluctantly agreed to add strawberry, after being told that the strawberry was a juice/syrup rather than fresh or frozen fruit. I assumed it would simply be a small flavoring addition to fresh OJ. Instead, what we received was orange juice poured from a gallon container mixed with strawberry syrup from another gallon. The result was a strange-tasting concoction that I would never have ordered had I been told the truth. I paid about $10 for something I did not want, and my husband drove there for nothing. Since I specifically asked multiple times about the fresh orange juice, this felt like a bait-and-switch and, frankly, very disrespectful. Businesses should understand that honesty builds trust, while misleading customers destroys it. I would much rather hear the truth about what I'm buying than be told what I want to hear just to make a sale.
