He allowed us to browse, uninterrupted and was available to answer any questions that we had. He made the buying process very relaxed and convenient. The process was secure and convenient as they use a secure link to provide credit card information. I enjoyed wandering through the store, seeing how they merchandised the products, as well as getting a smile out of some of the sayings on the home accessories. There's a sense of whimsy in the shop, which is always welcome, especially when it's done well. I ended up buying a vest on sale, since I'm obsessed with vests. Had I been in a different mind set and/or budget space, I would have picked up some gifts. Sometimes you have to be in the mood to do that kind of shopping. When back in the area, I would put Daisy Shoppe on the list to stop in and see what's new, and also how they've chosen to display it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When the staff member who checked me out mentioned that she has been to Kaui and loved that was it for me. I got them in the mail, along with a free tube of lipstick with--complete genius--a built-in mirror (how does every lipstick not have this)! Then I tried to get the pants on and found I couldn't get them past the top of my thighs. I was a bit devastated as I have been pretty frugal lately and was looking forward to buying my first piece of clothing in quite a while. The pants had been marked final sale on Garmentory, but in total desperation I phoned the store. Andie answered and instead of the let-down I was expecting, she patiently explained that the style is pretty tight at the top and I should try to work with them, but that in the mean time she would ship another pair of pants in the next size up and I could keep whichever fit better! I was so relieved and so grateful! While waiting for the other pair, I tried to get into the first pair I had ordered again, and with some help from some tights, I got them on. I realized she was totally right, and that they would probably keep getting a little easier to put on after that and that I did indeed have the correct size as the top fit perfectly once they were on. Overall, Andie just went above and beyond making sure that I was happy with the pants, and was so patient and kind, even when the first replacement pair got lost in the mail. She seems like a truly sweet person and I hope I can support her store more in the future.
