After getting proposals from 5 contractors, we decided to go with LIMC for the project. Tommy and his son came by twice to ensure the measurements are correct and their proposal is one of the most competitive in terms of pricing. I wanted to have a concrete base for the pavers because my previous patio was set on regular gravel base and had settled unevenly after just two years. The whole project took about two weeks from start to finish. Tommy's crew worked efficiently without cutting any corners. You can definitely tell that they are experienced with concrete and masonry. We decided to go with the Cambridge Toffee Onyx ledgestone pavers with Mocha Border. For the driveway, we went with graphite colored concrete with pavers circle and apron. The result was spectacular. I have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on my driveway. The blue stone stoops were excellent as well. In conclusion, Tommy and his men did a fantastic job with the patio, walkway, stoops and driveway. I highly recommend LIMC.

Absolutely Exceptional - A Dream Backyard Come True…read more We worked with Adam, the owner of Topaz Design, to completely transform our backyard -- what started as plain grass and bushes is now a stunning hardscape and in-ground pool that genuinely feels like our own private oasis. The difference is unbelievable. From the initial imaging and design concepts to the very last finishing touches, the work was nothing short of spectacular. We had some design challenges due to water-level constraints in Long Beach, and Adam handled everything with total professionalism. He came up with a revised plan that not only solved the issue but actually made the design even better than our original vision. His eye for design is incredible. The crews were meticulous, talented, and consistent. They showed up every day, worked cleanly, and took pride in every detail. They consistently checked in with us about placements, cuts, and finishes to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The craftsmanship is flawless -- our stone wall, hardscape lines, and pool area are perfect. Topaz coordinated beautifully with the pool company as well; the entire process felt seamless and thoughtfully managed. The end result is breathtaking. We still walk outside and can't believe this is our yard. Thank you, Adam, and thank you, Topaz Design. Our home is more beautiful because of your work. There is no better compliment to a Craftsman than repeat business and referrals. I start here…read morebecause we recently brought MJD back in for our second job. We met Marty by a referral when looking to update the front of our home. Our original pavers were 40+ years old. We loved the unique shape and style but needed a refresh. From start to finish, Marty was punctual, communicated well, delivered beautiful stone work and offered very competitive pricing. We used a combination of bluestone, cobblestone, culturestone and Cambridge cobalt pavers. MJD nailed the half moon shape and retained the look we adored and even added a planters box to highlight tree we have out front. We loved it so much, fast forward one year later we brought back MJD for our back patio. Work included steppingstones, full "figure 8" pool coping and pavers including plumbing (which MJD coordinated), columns to our bar, and a planters box. MJD also took down two trees, graded and seeded to get us ready for next year. The results speak for them themselves. In short, give Marty a call, he does it all! Best, Myles
