Authentic Italian food, like I grew up with, south of the Mason Dixon line, real Italian flavors don't exist. It's the same with Mexican. Grow up here and don't enjoy spices. Instead, you ask the restaurant to "Americanize it" = take the flavors out of it. It's such a treat when you find a restaurant like this. read more

Update: tonight I ordered the 12 cut square Sicilian pizza. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, which caused me to have run through the Dollar General Store across the street much faster than I'd hoped. I figured I'd need 20 minutes, and would have been done in 10, but when I went to check out, couldn't find the clerk. Anyway, I picked up my pizza at 7:58, 2 minutes before closing time. I'm telling you this because they close at EIGHT O'CLOCK, not NINE. Yelp, please change this on the listing. And the pizza...the Sicilian has a thick crust, softish and chewy under the middle and crispy on the edges. . There was a good sauce and plenty of cheese. I ate 4 pieces: 2 in the parking lot (warning: hot!) and 2 when I got home, with my healthy green veggies. The first 2 were better, but the second 2 didn't come with Fear Of Burning My Mouth: FOBMM. read more

we went right during rush hour, super busy but the staff were so friendly! my husband and i are the type to shy away from super crowded places so we opted to get pizza to to. the girl helping us was super patient when my husband asked for a description of every pizza lol (we're from way out of town so what is probably normal pizza names was lost on us) we waited for maybe 20 minutes and then we were out the door! we got the meat lovers and chicken bacon ranch and both were SO good. loved it! read more

Amazing pizza we drove two and a half hours to try this pizza and it was totally worth it! We got three of the Sicilian large pizzas for our group all hot and cheesy and delicious. The garlic bread is so crispy and fresh and the French fries were light and fluffy with crispy edges. Truly a great day trip with some beautiful views along the way going by the lakes and stopping at some great roadside stores and a nice outlet mall for some great deals.. we will be back in the future for sure. Great meal, but only one big issue.... Very good food and good service and even fair prices. Food came out quickly and was coursed in a timely way, beginning with a sizable side salad (included with my meal) and some delicious bread with butter. Only one complaint- (which I will not dock stars for unless it happens again) While I was in the middle of my main course several tables had gotten up and left. The tables were quickly bussed and tended to to make room for the next round of guests (bueno), however, whatever cleaning agent is used to spray on the tables to clean them smells INCREDIBLY strong. Much too odorous to be used in a restaurant dining room. It may smell nice when you're using it in your own home- but it's all I could smell (and taste!) while I was eating the rest of my meal. I had to box it up and finished it at home. Even if something smells "pretty" it has no place in a dining room full of folks eating the chefs great food. It really filled the room. Really damages the dining experience (like a server wearing an entire bottle of perfume walking around) Please (for your sake and that of your dining guests) please find a more neutral table cleaning spray! read more

This pizza isn't awful, but i will admit it isn't one of my favorites. My boyfriend absolutely loves it, but im "eh" about it. The only reason i say, is because of the sauce. And i'm the type of person where the sauce makes or breaks a pizza. They add grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and it over powers it WAY to much for me. Again, thats just me. My boyfriend loves it and it is a fabulous crust, and tons of cheese but the sauce is just to much. We still order from there and will continue to go there, but it's motz sticks with melba for me. We can all agree that pizza is an iconic food that varies greatly throughout different regions. One of the most definitive regions for pizza is New York, but what about the Adirondack mountain region? Large in the window and on the sign of DeCesare's Pizza Says "Adirondack Style Pizza". I am now sure that this is hands down the best pizza I've ever had and Adirondack style should be the ONLY style of pizza! I also tried a meatball sub which had delicious meatballs and gooey mozzarella cheese. All in all, a terrific experience and delicious food! read more

Not to mention I went to Top's, the local store in schroon to get some premade pizza dough, but they were sold out.
