Bloody Mary during town wide tag sale
    Paul Francis M.

Came in for Bloody Marys and breakfast during the town wide tag sale. Holy moly did we ever get blown away! We were not expecting to have such filling sandwiches. Place is perfect for a pre walk around town if you are visiting for the sale, you will be able to skip out on all the extra food you walk past. Aunts enjoyed their beverages while I sipped on my water. We were there no more than 15 minutes with how quick everything came out.

Quick and excellent. The service was great. Everyone works as a team and they were very attentive. The food was absolutely amazing! Such great flavor and cooked perfectly. And the atmosphere was great! We sat outside on a beautiful evening. My 6 year old niece said that's her favorite place to eat and she loves the strawberry lemonade (by sprite) haha. So if she gives the stamp of approval eberyone else should.

A satisfying spot for a slice or a pie. Warrensburgh is a small town, so I couldn't tell you how it stacks up against the local competition, but it was a decent slice with generous topping. Only nitpick is the pie could have used a minute or two more in the oven to brown the crust a bit. Self service ordering counter up front and a bar in the back. Decent sized patio wrapping around the outside.

Being from the New Haven area, we are always reluctant to get pizza away from home. My husband was itching for a pizza, so here we are! It doesn't look like much; a small building with some tables set up outside, with some Halloween decorations. Walking in the front brings you to pick up and counter service. We were directed to the back for the bar and tables. It's a tiny place, but the very social bartender made us feel welcomed. He grabbed us drinks. We called him over to order, deciding to get mozzarella sticks and try 2 small pizzas. He put our order in and came back to chat a second. He commented that we must not be from around here because the 2 of us ordered a lot of food! Their smalls aren't very small, and he told us that while they are delicious, we wouldn't finish them. The mozzarella sticks were tasty. Nothing special, but good. The marina sauce was pretty good, too. The pizzas were what we expected as a small. Bigger than a personal size, with slices cut large. Being used to New Haven, thin crust pizza, we weren't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised!! The crust was thin and crisp, the bianca pizza was a bit thicker than the pepperoni. The toppings were abundant, with lots of mozzarella! The crust was a bit bland, but the cheese was yummy! We did eat most of the pizzas, leaving only 2 pieces behind. The bartender had offered a free beer since we ate more than he expected, almost finishing! We chatted about the 80s rock music playing and football. Others at the bar seemed to be regulars. We felt comfortable and welcomed. The pizza was better than expected, not the best ever, but pretty damn good! Check them out!

What a find!! Great little speakeasy in the back... really great pizza... artisan slices that are quite the departure from the norm. Best meatball parm sub ever!! Solid service with folks who care! Cozy atmosphere!! Highly recommend...

Took a drive to Tommy Guns, now we are hooked

We took a drive and stopped in here just to try it last month, now we are hooked. The bread and meats are super fresh for the subs, and the Bacon is from Oscar's. Got the mixed sub last time and the pizza is great. This time I got the turkey with bacon and an order of bang bang shrimp. Couldn't finish it and it was awesome

It was still early for dinner, so it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Definitely an old school Italian restaurant vibe. The menu is not overwhelming but has plenty of options for varied preferences. Believe it or not, two of my favorite things were the crusty, hot bread (which accompanied the dip that we ordered as an appetizer) and the pile of freshly grated Parmesan cheese on the table. I had the stuffed sole with a side of pasta. I chose penne with oil and garlic and a "just right" side portion was served in a small bowl. I added some of that Parmesan from the table and was a happy camper. The sole was flaky and tasty-not fishy....it reminded me of the stuffed sole we would get from our local fish store in NYC when I was a kid. Clams casino were a good appetizer....but it's not really my jam. I prefer just regular stuffed clams (which are not on the menu). The sausage and peppers: a very generous portion that got solid reviews. Lots of pasta and enough leftover for a couple of days. We shared a cannoli to finish the meal...next time I'll try the tiramisu. By the time we left, it was quite busy. Our server was a hoot; I hope she's there next time.

I'll admit that living near Trenton has made me a little spoiled when it comes to pizza, but even with that in mind, this was not great by any stretch of the national imagination. The main appeal was convenience. Giuseppe's was only a few steps from our hotel, and the idea of eating pizza on the balcony overlooking the lake at sunset sounded too good to pass up. The order was ready quickly, less than thirty minutes, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, despite asking for utensils and plates both on the phone and again in person, they forgot them entirely. A short walk back to the shop solved the problem, and to their credit, the staff handed them over without any fuss. The pizza itself was the kind of food that serves a purpose but not a memory. The crust was too thick and doughy, the sauce had very little character, and the cheese existed mostly to keep everything from falling apart. It was utility-grade food sold at premium tourist-town prices. We knew we were paying that tax going in, but even so, it felt steep for what we got. Still, it did the job. Our family had a meal, the sunset over the lake was beautiful, and we went from phone call to first bite in under forty minutes on a Saturday night. For that, I'll give some credit. But for the pizza itself, there's not much to recommend. Three stars for speed and convenience, not for flavor.
