While working with Edith I noticed that she likes to keep things clean and organized. I did everything Edith told me to do as I was still training and learning. While training she always just expected me to know what i was doing after telling her i had no knowledge about flowers. She would be running both stores back to back leaving me there by myself to run Garden Of Edith. The only workers there were Edith and i. Edith told me that she was going to put me on payroll and never asked for any information or documents. My first week of pay i worked she told me she was going to check the cameras to see when i came in and out of the store to pay me. On my pay day she didnt know anything about the hours she kept claiming "i cant afford this" So u will be working less hours. Fine. She was very hard to work with because communication doesn't exist to her. Edith also owns another store called Jus tacos where I have seen her be mean and yell at certain employees whom don't stand up for themselves. Edith did mention to me one time that her worker in Jus Tacos lacks common sense and that he doesn't listen. KEEP IN MIND THIS MAN HAS WORKED UNDER JUS TACOS SINCE THE SHOP OPENED. Just because you're a boss of the area doesn't give you an excuse to speak to anyone however you want. Theres always produce out in the open as-well Ive seen it coming in the restaurant when it's not open yet.My reason for quitting was because on Monday March 31, 2025 i did not work. Edith worked that day in Garden of Edith. I came in Tuesday April 1st to a mess. Stems on the floor. Dawn dish soap spilled in the sink. Vases in the sink. Flowers that were supposed to be in the cooler were not put away. I sent her a video as I didn't know why it was so messy. Edith called me asking what was it i sent her and i told her theres a mess here from yesterday. Edith said "yes i was busy yesterday so clean it". Edith hung up and i texted her "I know you're busy but i dont leave a mess for you to clean either so i expect the same " Edith called me over the phone saying "Excuse me? Excuse me Im the manager and im paying you to clean it." Which even if the was the case I WAS NOT PRESENT MONDAY! Had she texted letting me know i was entering into a mess i would have been okay. Even a note when i entered work.I couldn't speak or say anything because she was just yelling over the phone saying thats why shes paying me and she kept repeating im the boss she expressed that I was having an attitude with her and she said she doesnt think this is going to work which i agreed with her and left the store in a polite manner. I was raised correctly I would never get out of character as thats not the person I am. Its a shame Edith was very nasty not seeing her own issues. I never expected to be attacked. i wouldn't recommend ANYONE working with her no one should ever get yelled at for simply communicating.It's just very unprofessional overall it's really a shame people like Edith become managers not only to one area but 2. I wouldn't recommend working under Edith. As a manager when you run a store the same rules should also go to the manager it's no excuse and its COMMON SENSE. Edith you are the representation of your stores you must upkeep your stores just like your workers do! As for the text messages im posting it was of me asking for my money if im not on payroll she can easily say i did not work those hours and not have given me my pay. I did not demand my money as on Tuesday my shift would have ended at 4 pm so obviously i get paid the end of the day. The proof is there. I have never lied or been disrespectful to her or given her attitude. I found Alma Floral on Yelp and gave her a call towards the end of a work day. She sounded genuinely happy to chat (a nice change) and her website made it easy to place my order online. (Bonus - Alma's also happy to communicate via iMessage and email.) Alma sent pics of the bouquet with and without the final touches and I was blown away by her choice of flowers/vase, the artful arrangement, and the perfectly chic, understated wrapping... Alma's taste and skill is exquisite: For well-under $100 she hit the mark on a complicated request and surpassed my expectations. The flowers she delivered: a) were not what we agreed on in her proposal, b) were far less robust than had been agreed on and paid for, c) included several partially dead or dying flowers and d) were constructed poorly, creating several logistical challenges, including my planner having to run to a local bodega for extra flowers since so many were dead and having to get vases from florist doing a wedding at the venue next door. Her work was so far from the mark before you even take into account the dead flowers, which I have ample photo evidence of. My day of coordinator and photographer (who had recommended Alma to me, was horrified to have done so seeing her work product, and has advised her other clients to cancel their contracts with her) said that the flowers delivered looked like they were worth only half the amount I had paid her. After my wedding, I contacted Melissa to share my feedback (dismay, really) and that I wanted financial restitution, she did not respond to several outreaches. When I booked Melissa, I knew from reviews that she had some issues with responsiveness; though she assured me that she had hired an office manager to support her, I never saw evidence of this - emails were often unreturned and deliverables late. Needless to say, I would strongly advise any bride from booking Melissa. I'm still struggling to look at my wedding photos without crying at how much she screwed up. That email she replied in 20min, telling me to stop "threatening" her, that I was not being patient enough, and CRITICIZING ME FOR NOT TIPPING HER. My bridal party and family picked up the florals at the end of the night, even myself (the bride). I made it very clear when the breakdown period would be to prevent the venue from charging overtime, and I was told that they would clean up. Rawan herself was not even at the wedding setting up, just two people whom she hired, and I thought they were strangers coming into the wedding until I noticed them with supplies (which I was informed later were also never collected from the venue). Another issue is that my bridal bouquet had a lot of flowers with the stamens of pollen left on, and it stained my dress before the wedding even started. In all of my photos I'm holding the bouquet away from me to prevent my bouquet from further staining my dress. I luckily was able to put my hair in front of the yellow stain for the rest of the wedding so it wouldn't be seen. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received. The arrangements that were present came out how I wanted, but I have to warn people especially seeing that I am not the only client she owes money to. UPDATE: Refund was received 6 weeks later. If you would like any installation, use caution because it seems that so long as she pays for the materials, even if you do not receive the service, she does not feel she is obligated to refund you for the money you paid to have the installation present at your wedding (see reply below).

She worked with us to stay within our budget and after sharing a bunch of inspiration images and talking about the vibe of the wedding, she somehow transformed what was in my imagination into the most magnificent display of flowers I have ever seen. Like totally nailed it. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were GORGEOUS; she was so creative with the florals for the ceremony and the tablescapes (as well as the candles to go with it), it was STUNNING. Our venue had a big blank wall and she created the most incredible floral installation that was utterly breathtaking.
