Cuticles obviously not taken care of.

My mom had just arrived from out of state to visit me and we decided to get our nails done because I had just gotten engaged 3 days prior and wanted a nice manicure to show off my ring with. The people here were rude, not personable, and blatantly ignorant of customer service. I was not offered to sit next to my mother and was hauled off to the other side of the salon by a lady. This same lady assured a customer who had just walked in that she would do her pedicure in five minutes...I had just been seated. You bet that if I am going to a nail salon, I expect more than five minutes attention or I would just do them myself. She did not trim my cuticles, soaked my hands for less than one minute, used no base coat, scolded me for "already filing my nails" and left paint on my hands. I was done in five minutes and sent on my way. My mother had it even worse. As I was drying my nails, the lady was telling her to pay ahead, which she did, then she asked for two dollars more since mine was a French. All I did was ask my mom what she said and this lady began yelling at her about the price. We repeatedly explained that we had no problems with it and that she was just telling me what was said. The woman was visibly angered and my mom told her to calm down. She only got more angry and continued yelling about the price and after this had gone on for a while she began to talk (about us presumably) in her native tongue and walked away. My mother ended up doing her own nails and no one said a word to us. We went to walk out and still not a word!!! So we asked to talk to someone and a guy came up and explained to us the price thing again. I had to step up and give a customer service speech after which he redid my mom's nails. He was the only redeeming quality but I would still rather pay forty dollars at a spa than deal with this place again. Never go here!!

I went here for a pedicure and fill/manicure. The pedicure was good and the lady that did my feet was very courteous and professional. Unfortunately when I was handed off to the man at the front for my manicure, the good vibes all changed. The man was very curt and at times downright rude. He was also very unprofessional. After he put the acrylic fill on, I told him my nails needed to be trimmed, they were too long. He didn't ask me how short, he just filed down my nail (more than halfway) with the drummel and then shows me the nail and asks if this is OK. I said if it wasn't ok, it was too late to do anything now. Then when I washed my hands before he put on polish, I put on some hand lotion. When he saw what I did, he got angry and told me not to do that and roughly rubbed my nails with acetone cotton pad to remove. The remainder of my manicure we sat in stony silenced and when it was done, he told me, "Go sit over there." No thank you for your business. Well he won't be getting anymore of my money, nor will De Paris Nails while he is employed there. If you're looking for a professional nail salon with courteous staff that has an eye for quality, a few miles away is Happy Nails on Snelling Ave near Jefferson.

    Super glue on my finger

This place was absolutely terrible, I've never been to a nail salon that charges a fee to fix a broken nail let alone a 5$ fee. If I could give this no stars at all I would totally do it!! The lady wasn't even a certified nail tech because she seemed confused with what she was doing. She didn't even match my nail shape or the size of the same finger on the other hand. I only happened to stop in for a quick fix that ended up being a disaster leaving my nail horrible looking along with super glue all over my finger along with a cut on my finger as well. She than proceeded to have the nerve to ask if I wanted a pedicure I immediately said "no thank you I only came for a nail fix". Totally not worth the short trip for a nail fix.

Her nail bleeding due to the fact that the lady was ripping them off and did not take her time

This place shouldn't even get a star. It was a waste of two hours and money. The guy has no idea how to do gel sets. Never going here again

Walked in on a Wednesday the day before heading out for a lil beach vacation in the dead of winter…read more Helen hooked me up with clear gel toes lol.. just like I like it- clean & fresh! Perfect, friendly & accommodating.

I wish I was joking about the experience I had here today. I called in to see if they take walk ins…read moreand they took me right away when i arrived (only good thing about the experience)... I sit in the chair and show the reference pic of a basic natural square french tip. Ken said he got it no problem. He begins my nails and was rough with the drill I let him know and he shoo'd me off and continued. I mentioned I wanted a medium pink powder before he laid any acrylic he said he will paint over it with a darker pink and it'll look like the pic. I mentioned the powder is really light specifically on my skin it looked like pink/white powder and he said he does things different and not like others and will be darker. We move forward, he files them and tells me to wash my hands I tell him it's a little uneven on my middle nails and he shoo'd me off again saying he will fix it later. When I get back he files it and that nail is significantly shorter than the rest but I let it go and then he begins painting my nails. I look at it before I put it in the dryer and he said no put it in the dryer I told him I wanted to check the color in case I didn't like it and he said no you check as i'm painting .. when I couldn't see it as he was painting them because how he was rushing. I said is there another pink to use because it didn't look natural and the pink he put on was practically red he told me no I said do you have a bubble bath he said "no we don't have any of that". and just kept going and kept dismissing me. I wanted to like them but I didn't. So I paid and as i'm heading to leave I see two different pinks and the pink powder that one of the other techs was using. So I went back and asked to speak to someone. I showed the manager the reference picture and mentioned what he told me the manager immediately corrected with "we do have more pinks and the pink powder etc I can redo them for you." He lied to me and did what he wanted to do on my nails. It seemed as though he was rushing to get me in and out because they were busy and didn't want to wait for the actual powder and polish that I wanted while also doing a sloppy job too. When the manager said they would fix them I was extremely understanding, and patient when she said to give her an hour but then I waited almost 3 hours for them to even get me back in the chair as they took multiple walk-in's. They had my money already and I wasn't a priority anymore. I got there at 3pm and finished with Ken at 3:45. and didn't actually ended up leaving until an hr past close at almost 7pm. When I asked for a refund while waiting to get taken care of, the managers' whole dynamic changed! She went from helpful to aggressive and was yelling to her coworkers in their language mentioning refund and even rushed the girl that was in her chair out to tell me to sit down so she can fix it because she wasn't going to give me a refund. She became condescending and rude to me and even tried arguing with me. It was a distasteful experience overall and It happened to be my first time here.
