I'm giving it a four because the manicure and the actual pedicure were fine. The issue I have is with the massage. Last time I went I paid for the $69 pedicure that said I was to receive a hand and shoulder massage. I never received it. I didn't say anything and I should have but I don't like confrontation. Today I went there again and I picked the same one. The massage was a joke. For an extra 20 dollars, I got a minute and a half shoulder massage, my left arm was shook, not even an attempt at a massage and my right arm was shook and rubbed for about 15 seconds, not even any lotion was used. Go for the pedicures but stay away from the ones that include a neck and hand massage. $20 for 2 minutes, if you even get one. read more

My nails did not turn out looking how I wanted. They look like I did them at home, and I am not good at nails. At my appointment i also got a pedicure with white gel polish and my toes look great. For my manicure I wanted round acrylic nails and the shape is not round. The builder acrylic is thick and it is not dug out from underneath my nails. Some guy did the painting and lazily applied the gel polish, and it is not smooth. I can see the layers of paint. Worst place I have ever been too. read more

0/5 do not go. Was not a pleasant experience at all!!!! I'm not one to complain and never want to have to leave reviews/ask for a refund or redo but I feel this time it's necessary. From the minute I walked in the main lady shoved me out of the way to help pick my color, yelled at me for checking my phone, humiliated me for not knowing if my nails needed to get dry, and brought up tipping with cash many times. Moving on to my nails I didn't get a proper look until i went to a store after or I would have mentioned something but they look horrible. You can see the fake acrylic from underneath and I'm not sure why it's clear at all underneath it was so rushed, my pinky nail is throbbing with pain, and dirt is stuck under half of them. I went back in today to politely ask for a refund and to have them taken off and the lady refused. She blamed it all on me and I received 0 apologies or efforts to remove the nails/fix them. I will never return along with many other of my friends who have said this place went downhill and I have been going here for 6 years. read more

I had an 11:00 am pedicure appointment this morning at Mia's Nails in Woodbury, July 21st, and I arrived on time only to wait 10 minutes before someone motioned for me to come and sit. The water was lukewarm but before I could complain, the young woman disappeared and after waiting another 20 minutes without a word from anyone I got up and slipped my wet feet into my sandals and left. My last appointment at Mia's Nails in Woodbury five weeks ago was great as usual with Lily, but this morning when I walked in I did not see any familiar faces - the whole vibe of the place had changed. I will not be back! I can deal with my wasted time, but worse is the hassle to find another place where I can get decent service and a good pedicure. Not the end of the world certainly but where-oh-where can I happily pay and get the return of what I came to get? read more

Not happy with my pedicure. I'm super sad that I chose to go here on the recommendation of a friend for my 30th birthday pedicure. The man did mine. Pretty sure he's the owner. He asked me about ten times what color I wanted as I was picking out. The prices are higher than most of the high end salons in the cities, and when I left I wanted to cry. I planned on getting a full set and a pedicure but I left after the pedicure. There's still dirt under my nails and on my heels and clip marks and no shaping to my nails. It costs $14 for gel polish. So $50 wasted on my birthday I don't get out much to get pampered and this is not the place you want to go to feel that way. read more

They did a fine job on our toes but she has her pre teen and teen children doing the massage and scrubbing at the beginning of the pedi. The kids were very nice and polite but did not do good massages. It was awkward. Then the woman that actually did my color seemed rushed and angry about something. They had a wedding party in and were very busy so when I made the appt for three of us she should have said they couldn't accommodate us at that time. I called three days ahead. Oh, also, I had a gift certificate that I won at a raffle in April and she informed me that is was very old and the price had gone up a dollar. Seriously, a dollar? All nail places over promise. They over-book, and even though we had an appointment, we ended up waiting 30 minutes past our appointment. And once we got seated into our chairs, we sat soaking for another 25 while we waited for our pedicures to begin. That happens at all nail salons - staff are afraid to turn people away, and that results in less than excellent service. That said, I had the best foot massage I've ever had at a nail salon. And they listened to me and stayed away from the areas that are ticklish. The polish looked great, and the services aren't overpriced. I'll come back but won't bother making an appointment. read more

Tried this place for the first time and it was unpleasant to say the least. Made an appointment just to get pushed aside by 3 manicurists making me run late for an appointment I had later that day. Terribly unfriendly, rushed service. The woman doing my pedicure seemed annoyed to be working in general. She was rude, did a sloppy job and was talking/ laughing to herself the entire time. Have had several pedis here with good results. Most recent visit was anything but! Got the owner this time around. She had her sweet but inexperienced young daughter do the massage portion. It was poor and she got oil and salt scrub on my pants. When it came to the pedicure, the owner was extremely distracted and up and down to manage the register. She was rough and the last straw came during the callous removal. Even though I had said "ouch" several times, she continued on and ended up opening my right heel in two places!! To make it worse she didn't apologized and said I had sensitive skin! I think anyone getting their skin scraped off would be sensitive! A week later I still have scabs on my heel. The owner seems to have forgotten providing a pleasant experience and seems more interested in rotating people through quickly to serve her bottom line. Time to find a new nail salon. read more

The service and atmosphere were great. My friend and I called ahead and they were able to get us in as the last appt of the day (15 minutes after our call). They did not rush though and we did not feel like it was close to closing time. They were very friendly. The atmosphere is great too - a nice waiting/nail drying area and the salon overall is nice. Overall the experience is positive and the people working are friendly. However, the selection of color and the lifetime of the nail polish is sub-par. I waited 4-5 hours for my toe nails to dry, and when I put shoes on, they still messed up my manicure. The same with the nails; the quality of the nail polish or the amount they put on the nails doesn't seem to correct. I received a gel manicure several times too, and it starts chipping after 1 week... the only difference is that I don't have to wait 4-5 hours for my nails to dry.
